TTC August 2026

So I'm pretty much put this month, giving up all hope its happening this month. I know August is still a week away but thought I'd start a thread for the August TTCers.
How's everyone doing?

Moving onto Cycle 2. Period came😫

Hello everyone, first time posting here and first cycle of TTC. I hadn't been tracking anything except CM and using my Flo app but going to track my BBT going forward.
I think I'm around 9DPO and driving myself crazy trying to symptom spot. Since it's my first time I feel like I'm being extra sensitive to changes and probably overthinking any usual incoming AF symptoms.
I have some One Step test strips and Clearblue tests arriving today from Amazon, and keep telling myself not to test until at least Saturday but it's so tempting!

After a very faint shadow line on a test this morning my period started not long after

So sorry to hear! Good luck next month. Hopefully it’s the one for you! My dc is a June baby and it’s nice to be six months from/to Christmas!

Ooh same as me, 9DPO! I am also waiting till Saturday to test.

Mine is an April baby so it’s probably for the best as this one would have been
an early may baby if born around 40 weeks. If they’re anything like their brother they’d need to be evicted early and two April babies is not ideal!

No idea but just assuming it was an indent. I sent it to a couple of friends and they saw the line so it’s not even like I had line eyes (for once)

I would get checked out incase it was a chemical pregnancy x

I’ve had a chemical before and don’t think it was that. I’m certain it was an indent. I went shopping today with my mum and she was pointing out all the cute baby girl clothes for when I have a girl. She doesn’t know we are trying so didn’t mean to add to the pressure

Just remembering I had a cold the week before my period 4 months ago and it meant nothing so now thinking it's unrelated, 8dpo today and not feeling very hopeful, kind of have zero expectations as it's been 8 cycles since our first and last positive

Just started day 34 of my cycle and still no period.

According to the flo app, my cycle lengths have varied between 28-34 days over the last 8 months. It had predicted I would bleed on Monday (day 31) but because of the variation I won't get excited until at least friday evening.

We are going to Snowdonia for a the bank holiday weekend. I have told my husband we should test if I still haven't bled by the time we get home on Monday evening. I imagine that should be enough time for an accurate test.

I have been cramping a lot though for about 1-2 weeks so dunno.

Period arrived with a vengeance yesterday. Been taking coq10 this month so suspect that might have had an impact on a longer cycle and now heavier bleed. Makes me feel like it's doing something good with a heavier bleed? Almost like a good clear out in there 😂.

Sorry to jump on but why would we need to get checked out for a potential chemical? I am just curious! Before I had my daughter we had an early miscarriage (not a chemical) but it was around maybe 5 weeks 6 days. The EPU wouldn't see me and hyst said sort of ride it out (in a kinder tone)

When I had one at 6/7 weeks they wanted to scan me and check everything had past. Maybe it was just something they did in my case.

I think that is an early miscarriage rather than a chemical pregnancy so that is why maybe!
