Hi everyone!!

I am sooooo sorry to not be around much right now, I am just swamped right now. I am cleaning and tidying while I have the energy and inclination to do it. Plus after the highs of the 20 week scan and the great fetal echo, I feel a little flat now that things are back to "boring", if you know what I mean?!

Anyway, could someone be so kind as to just give me a brief update as to how everyone is? I think of you all often, just need to pull my finger out and get my posting motivation back.

HumphreysCorner · 16/07/2008 20:14

Wondered where you had been Heartmum. Nice to see you back.

Thanks hon! How's you? Is there an up to date list going in the last few pages I could sneak a peak at? Or should I start a new one?

HM2J - welcome back - we have missed you

There have been lots more BFP's - this thread really is very lucky!! I am 21 weeks today and definitely having another boy - like you, I thought I was going to be disappointed, knowing this was my last baby, but am totally ok with it and am very pleased!

Ally - CONGRATULATIONS!! Wow, March is such a lovely time to have a baby (dare I say I am a little bit as end of November is not so good - too cold and too near Christmas!)

Hi to everyone else - still got my fingers crossed for you in the 2ww and I am sure we will get some more BFP's this time round

juanitad · 16/07/2008 20:42

Hi HM2J, nice to see you back. There has been a lot going on on this thread, I've found it hard to keep up!! I've found it even harder to keep up with the due Nov 08 thread and have kind of abandoned it to concentrate all my efforts on this one!!

I'll get the ball rolling with the stats so you are up to date.

Juanitad - 22+3

Mjim: I am glad you are well. I too am wondering what life will be like with another little one, but I know it will be different for you going from 1 to 2, than for me going from 2 to 3. It will be grand, you will see!

Ceebee: CONGRATULATIONS on your little boy! I am pleased you are happy and OK with it, but know what you mean about that feeling of worry about having some disappointment. Honestly though, neborns look the same with nappies on, lol! Have you chosen a name?

Jaunitad. The antenatal thread seems incredibly busy, I think I missed the last new thread all together . I also honestly can NOT believe you are nearly 23 weeks already. Time is flying!

As for me, I'm 25 weeks today. Baby suddenly became more active when we were on holiday, so 22 weeks and now he is a real wriggler. At my midwife appt on monday he was lying in a transverse position, across my belly, with all his limbs around my belly button, lol! He really was not happy about being palpated and let us both know! I cancelled my OB appt for 28 weeks so the midwife will next see me then for bloods and my next visit, then back to Birmingham women's for another fetal echo at 32 weeks to double check all is still well. The boys are keeping me busy. I will try and get some new pics of them and my bump up for you all to have a gander at.

To carry on the stats:

Juanitad - 22+3
Heartmum2Jamie - 25 weeks

Heartmum2Jamie · 16/07/2008 20:55

Opps! Cross posted with BSL (welcome btw!!)

Juanitad - 22+3
Heartmum2Jamie - 25 weeks

No reason as far as I know MJIM. From what I remember with ds2, it was routine to be seen by the midwife every 4 weeks from 16 weeks until 34 weeks. This time around have only seen my midwife 3 times so far, my booking in at 8 weeks, 16 weeks and on Monday for 24 weeks as the midwife doesn't see you at 12 or 20 weeks when you have your scans. So 28 weeks next, then according to my notes, 31, 34, 36 and then weekly (I might have that wrong though, lol!) Strange how it differs from area to area. I might not be seen at 31 weeks as I have an appt at 31+6 for a scan anyway.

As for the baby's lie, I was told that at this sort of stage, it is good that the baby is doing somersaults ect and that baby won't settle into the head down position until after 36 weeks most likely. Nice thing about him being side to side, I don't need to pee half as much!

Morning all,

Did quite a bit of research and reading on Fertility Friend last night. My last three temps (actually there are only three temps entered ) are all still high...so that's still positive. Anyhow am now fairly convinced that the 3-4 days DH and I were ill was the time we were supposed to be BDing. So we've really reduced our chances this month, methinks.

I was a bit silly and didn't realise that the important days are the run up to OV, not the few days after!!!

Ah well live and learn!!

on the positive side are the fact that my temp is still up and (.)(.) painful...but that's all similar to AF any way!!

HC - sorry about the BFN!!

More later!

Hi All,

Couldn't believe it, got to the cinema last night and Mamma Mia was fully booked - both showings!! It had taken me 40 mins to get there through the traffic - not happy!!

So went to my friend's for a cuppa instead and couldn't believe that during my conversation with her, noticed that my left nipple started to tingle!! Really weird considering I've had no feeling since the op 5 years ago! But it was a definite tingling and actually stopped me mid-conversation (believe me, not much stops me talking!!)

I was really surprised!

Still lots of cramps every day, but no blood at all. Only normally get cramps one day during AF but AF is still just under a week away.... Starting to be really exhausted and struggle to get up in the morning, even though I've slept well and the last couple of nights, had to get up in the night to go to the loo - unheard of . So, if I'm honest, I'll be really shocked if I'm not PG.... But I'm trying to keep my feet on the ground....

Hope all is well with everyone today!

xx

FlirtyThirty · 17/07/2008 09:42

Oh my God, Dawn!!!
I am excited for you...can't you get one of those new early tests to put us oiut of our misery!?! (can't believe I'm actually saying that...as I'm not really in favour of them! )

Also -I had EXACTLY the same Mamma Mia cinema experience last night! How weird is that!!! I came home and watched Gladiator on DVD with hubby instead.

Today, I've been mostly deciding how to tell DH I'm PG...what are you planning on doing/saying?

Flirty x

DawnAS · 17/07/2008 11:44

Hey Flirty,

Very weird!! Maybe we were at the same Cinema...

I did have a plan of finding (from goodness knows where...) one of those long narrow jewellery boxes that you get bracelets in and putting the +ive (if I get one...) test into it and then wrapping it up like a present for DH. Then I decided to just wait until he gets home and then show him...

But to be honest, last night, I did have a moment of realisation... Thinking, "Oh sh*t!! If I am pregnant, what do I do?! Am I really ready?! No more nights out drinking!" Now I know that these thoughts are total madness, the last time I went out for a "proper" drink was my hen-night in March and before that, last September. So I think my mind was just working overtime....

I really don't want to get a test, only because I'd be so gutted now if turned out to be -ive. I a know that they're not always that reliable...

Oh!!

xxx

Hi all,

Wow you?ve been busy!

MJIM loving the pushchair ? what made you go for that one above all others?

Chestercat so sorry and whe-heey: Bring on new cycle! Fingers crossed for you.

DaisyJ Many thanks and enjoy the BD fest ? it?s the only way!

MrsLeroy happy to hear they get on well.

Detoxdiva Sorry about your crap experience but also lol at ?I had a few ideas?. Also, what CE said about luteal phase: GP said LP is normally fixed, however the actual time of OV can fluctuate due to stress, diet etc. And my OPK experiments confirm this.

Ally looks like a strong BFP to me!!!! Congratulations!!!! Lol at ?can?t believe my eyes? ? have just beeen there.

Ceebee the call of MN is strong indeed...

Flirty yes you have to be comfortable! Good luck with it all.

HC Lol at sports day and so sorry for the BFN.

CE thanks, yes v exciting ? enjoy counting down the last school days!

Bluestar what?! Not enjoying the 2ww?!? But it?s such a lovely time?

Dawn Omg, yellow CM was one of my biggest early symptoms!! Only saying... fingers crossed, fingers crossed When are you testing?!

Wellies, lovely to see you. All well?

HM2J lovely to see you too. You sound busy & happy.

Waves to everyone else, I hope all is well. Have snuck away from house guests for that all important MN fix. V hormonal temper wise (had massive row with DH last night, felt he was being snappy - sooo pathetic) but physically feeling great.
