Hi guys! Opening a thread for those ttc in the new year! I'll be starting again after an MMC in November, fingers crossed that this'll be a lucky year for all!

@BellaStar2020 oh no! Did you carry on testing? I’d probably go off what your gut tells you, I find your body usually shows more than these LH tests etc!

yes so true on feeling all the feels!! I also got to the point where I was like I can’t control or change the outcome so why worry! And also if it’s not this month then more months to have fun! With my DD pregnancy I was so turned off 🤣 that I should probably just enjoy the trying process too!!

I will do! Might test on Sunday to just see!

This is what people need to realise, the magic sign is your period either arriving or not! Testing early is pointless, I didn't get my bfp with ds until I was 5 days late. It causes so much unnecessary stress testing every day!

@Matildahoney its true!! With my DD for some reason I didn’t even test until I was 15/16dpo and it was only because I had the most painful feeling in my pelvis that was like something was digging in that I did a test (was on a hen do and in denial it had actually happened for us!!) Before that I had no idea! It’s taken me to go back to look at that cycle on Flo to realise that it was 15/16dpo that I had this and not like 11dpo!

I’m not sure I’ll ever have the willpower to wait for my period before I test!
Just tested this morning on 9DPO and it was still very negative… it’s so hard not to be discouraged!

@TTCNumber2in2025 For a bit of hope, Chatgpt told me most people don’t implant until 9-11dpo so you’re not out yet!!

It's so annoying isn't it! I thought we'd done perfectly this time and we ended up completely missing the time pre-ovulation as ovulated two days early! Managed to hit O-day and the days after, but I am not hopeful!

@Glittertint thanks, but the twice I’ve been pregnant before, I tested positive at 9DPO. One was a successful pregnancy and one was a chemical, but both positive at 9DPO, so I think I must be an early implanter!

I think we ovulated on the same/close to the same day! I think mine was overnight between 23rd and 24th December. Trying to find the balance between hopeful and bracing for disappointment, as we timed everything perfectly this month. When are you planning on testing?

Hopefully AF has cleared off now but incase you’re still waiting, my cycle was like that after both MCs. Started normal and seemed like it would be finishing as usual but then spotted for an extra couple days. Ov’d a little later than normal after both too, although don’t know if that’s true for everyone X

Thank you for confirming! I didn't have anything today except for the morning bit we dtd yesterday evening (tmi lol) and it sort of came out with that but it was really really light
I usually ovulate on CD 11/12 so I'll see soon!

Cant help but symptom spot too!
So far ive felt boob's slightly ache, lower back ache and twinged and i felt like a tugging pull inower abdomen when I coughed today?

Hello all, I thought I'd have a look at these boards again. We've been trying since the summer though not been the most focused that we could have been. I've been trying not to think about it much. I have been so laid back about it recently that I stupidly forgot to record my AF for my last cycle. I use two apps as sometimes they're slightly different but usually just by a day or two. Due to the missing data from the last cycle, one app had my period due last Tuesday and the other has it due today. It's still not come! I don't have any pregnancy tests but I have lots of ovulation strips that I got a while ago and gave up using. I've been trying them out for the past few days and every single time has been a solid line which could mean it's picking up the hormone used to detect pregnancy as even if my cycle was a mess ovulation doesn't last that long. I've ordered a pregnancy test to be delivered. Hopefully AF doesn't come in the mean time. Best of luck everyone!

@Orangeroses243 @J1644 it seems like we are! I’m between 8-9dpo I think from going off my CM and I got heavy pelvic pain on 24th. I’ve got all the exact same symptoms too since yesterday but I did have some of these last month too!! My cramps have been pretty strong today which seems early for pms and have been on one side?

I’m not sure on testing! If I am going to I’ll do it at 11dpo for if I was 8dpo today so 3 days time! But also ngl I hate the feeling of a BFN and then having to wait for a period!! I might just wait for my period as unless it comes im still hopeful if you get me!!

Interesting! For me an LH rise is usually two days, maximum three, but only one day of really high levels! Fingers crossed it's actually pregnancy, when I was pregnant I had really strong LH positives as well!

Hi all, just dropping in to say hi and get on the thread as we are going to start TTC for baby number 2 this month! Anyone else trying for number 2 or beyond? Already feel guilt that my daughter won’t be the only one anymore (if we are lucky to conceive!) but I know how much she would love a sibling growing up! We're also trying for baby #2, after an MMC in November, DD will be 2 in April! She is such an angel that I cannot wait to have another baby even if the second one will be crazier haha

My little one is almost 3.5..she’s so lovely it does make me nervous I would get a wild second child and not cope 😂 wishing you all the luck!

@Anya23@Coco9910mine is 4.5 years old and we are TTC no. 2. My little one is an absolute whirlwind, I can’t think how another could top her energy levels 😂

Also trying for #2 here. DD is 9 months so if all goes to plan we'll have 2 under 2! We are utterly besotted with her but I'm mentally preparing for a more challenging baby as she's been a dream 🥰

Hello @Coco9910! Also trying for number 2, my DD is 2, and she is both wonderful and wild! I remember 9-18 months I said she definitely has second child energy so I don’t know what we’ll be in for with a next one!!

morning all, im getting a little bit deflated. My chart for BBT is confusing me. natural cycles says it’s still trying to confirm if I have ovulated and Chat GPT which has maintained up until today that I ovulated on the 27th December has now shifted to say 30th or 31st December. What do you guys think?

I have had an average of 26 day cycles for the last 6 months and over the 12 months one that lasted 31 days.

@BellaStar2020 So I think the way it works is it’ll confirm once there’s been 3 consistent rises? How have you slept as this could’ve thrown it off?

I didn’t sleep well again last night. But I am super tired during the day, absolutely exhausted and I look shattered 😂
