Hi guys! Opening a thread for those ttc in the new year! I'll be starting again after an MMC in November, fingers crossed that this'll be a lucky year for all!

Thanks for this! I think I will ovulate Tuesday or Wednesday, so the early flashing smileys on Saturday and Sunday have thrown me off. The CB app told me to start testing last Monday but I only have 10 sticks so I hope I get my peak by Wednesday because then I’ll be out of sticks! The way my shifts have fallen at work make it hard to DTD Monday & Tuesday but by the sounds of it that will be my best chance, typical!

Ah yes, we also have the same problem with DH's work, he's away all day usually when I have my peak, so one day before ovulation, which is the best chance! We'll see how it'll turn out this cycle, but I'm expecting my peak on Friday!

I thought I was supposed to ovulate this weekend (CD15 today) but I started to run out of LH tests and had no chance to get more.
DTD once on both days. But now won’t be able to for a few days.
So I got a flashing smiley on Thursday night and then another on Saturday morning. Then that pack run out. I had a few remainder of the other CB digital tests (not the advanced ones) and used the separate holders so it was accurate. So I was kind of simultaneously testing with whatever I had left. That one was negative on Friday, and then negative again today. Now all LH tests run out but not sure any point to buy more tomorrow. So haven’t had a peak once again. Unless I missed the surge as I only had been able to test once daily…
Had EWCM all weekend which was coming and going. So was hopeful but now that seems to have dried up a bit.
All I have to go by now is BBT so see if it increases and I ovulated :(
Just fed up as I don’t even know if I’ve ovulated at all since my MC in early Dec.
Confused and disappointed once again 😂

Worried we didn’t cover enough days this month now, we did CD17 twice and I think I ovulated CD19 in the end but early. I’m now 1dpo so it is what it is!! I’ve emailed someone about acupuncture so we’ll see!

@Glittertint you DTD in your fertile window so hopefully that’s enough! It only takes one go after all! Fingers crossed for you!

@EmeraldPie its stressful isn’t it! I’d recommend the Easy@Home tests as they are so cheap and you get loads so don’t need to worry about running out. But hopefully you won’t need any more!

Thoughts? I have PCOS and long cycles but going off a high reading I got on an ovulation test I think I am 8 or 9 days DPO…. Have felt very nauseous this morning but maybe it’s just from wanting it so much!

@Coco9910 Yes those tests seem good, (and cheap!). I think I'll give up on the expensive digital ones now as they're just too pricey for what they give IMO. I had a slight increase in BBT this morning so we'll see if that sustains, lol! x

I’m only 8dpo, and took this test. I’m thinking surely must be an indent but it has a purple/pink hint to it in real life and it’s more visible. Anyone see it? Came up within a minute

So I got another ‘high’ flashing smiley on the CB advanced ovulation sticks this morning but I have had ovary pain all evening so I’m convinced I’m ovulating today… but didn’t get a ‘peak’ solid smiley?! It’s been 7 years since I did all this and I’ve forgotten so much about TTC!

Hiii, yeah so I’ve managed to just breathe through most of it so far! Only been sick twice over the weekend and once today. I’m hoping it’s going to be easier than my last two pregnancies!
how are you getting on?

@Jill4578 aw well I really hope it eases for you but again it’s a really good sign of hormones rising!! I kinda wish I was vomiting 😂 I am a little nauseas but I suffer from IBS and it’s really bad now the last few days so lot of cramps etc and super tired but it’s all good. Have you made an appointment to see your doc yet?xx

I’m in the same boat!
Didn’t get a peak all weekend ‘cos I kind of started running out of tests therefore only tested once daily and mixed up the packs too. I had a flashing smiley from last Thur- Sat. Today also had the ovary twinges!
Im relying on BBT now but its annoying as I have a naturally really low baseline temp :(
its my first proper cycle since my MC too x

4th day this morning of flashing smiley (high) on cb advanced. Ovary pain and insomnia last night tells me I ovulated. Not sure what to think, I DTD on Saturday night and last night. Plan again for tomorrow night… hopefully I’m covered 🙈

I'm due to ovulate on Saturday if my cycle is the same as always, so we'll start working on that today/tomorrow. Unfortunately hubby will be away on Friday, so hopefully the other days will be enough
