TWW feels like forever

WHY does the TWW feel like forever?! I thought I was 7dpo then I actually hit my peak late, and now I’m 3dpo and just want to test😂 fertile window being 28th-2nd with ovulation on 3rd and BD every other day so really hoping it’s done the trick. Had a chemical on Nov 10th. Did anyone fall pregnant the cycle after a chemical?

@SKLM I decided to do a LH test this afternoon and the line was that faint, I had to squint!! God knows what’s happening. I’ve had no cm either. I am ridiculously tired and moody at the minute too.

Fingers crossed you covered your peak. It might be a good idea to still dtd as much as possible.

I started getting ewcm finally, just a bit, so I am probably at the start of my fertile period. Very late! but I think my body does better with late ovulation. I'm just kind of letting it do its thing without trying to stress. The days pass too slow otherwise lol

I'm CD26 so it's gonna be my latest ovulation for a while. I think my body tried last week and failed

I've been looking up pcos success stories to make myself feel better lol plenty people conceive late and had a healthy pregnancy x

@Plumchumm When I was diagnosed with endometriosis age 22 they found my ovaries to be enlarged on scans and when I had surgery, with lots of follicles present on both. My periods have always been irregular and I have dark hair on my face which I had removed with laser treatment (actually worked really well!). I was told likely cos plus the endometriosis as they found those adhesions. So I just spent my entire adult life age 17-35 on the pill to stop the endometriosis pain and to keep things suppressed! When I came off the pill we got pregnant straight away with my son aged 36 but looking at how my cycle is now I think we might have just got lucky.

For me it ranges between 30-45 days it turns out. I had one 60 day cycle at the end of last year. It's not peri-menopause (I am a month off 39l I went to the doctor who tested my FSH and said it is fine for my age. So I think it is pcos. I know I do ovulate but it is so hard trying to track it and pin it down.

I am starting to think I have multiple peaks between day 15-30 and at any one of those peaks I ovulate.

Our strategy this month has been to have sex regularly from day 15 to 30 which covers my latest usual ovulation time. I am day 21 now, still haven't found a peak, so going to keep it up.

I take myo-inositol and a general pre natal vitamin.

It's really hard! I sympathise with you massively x

@PandaLife how is the lh testing going? I have one test left and I am going to give it after that and just keep up the regular sex until we sick of it or one of us gets thrush/me a UTI 😂

It's really comforting to hear someone else experiencing what I've been going through too. I also have dark hair on my chin! I have been doing electrolysis for the past 3 months because I did laser a few years ago and it caused the opposite effect (stimulated more hair there).

I tried myo inositol once a few years ago but even though I only had a small amount, I felt soo dizzy and faint on it so I'm kind of scared to try it again. But I remember it did start my period that had disappeared, only a few days after taking that one half dose!

My periods have gradually gotten a bit more regular in the past few years, they used to be 4 times a year but now they are like 36-40 days.

Update from me! I think I had a peak as my LH today is dropping. I have attached my chart. Looks like maybe I have a gradual surge? What do you think.

I had a 0.6 on Wednesday 25th which was my highest reading and today 0.45 both taken in the afternoon.

I am going to count yesterday 26th as ovulation day as I had a lot of cramping going on.

We have had sex 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 25th and 26th and my cm is much less today.

Going to have a break now but keep testing and if I get any more rises we shall see!

Flo originally predicted 26th for ovulation which is cd21 for me.

Fingers crossed!! It has felt like a scientific study this month!

I got a proper peak this time and had all my ovulation signs (lots of ewcm, sore nipples, left side pinching) so I think it happened this time!! Premom put it to 1.4 It must have failed last week but so glad it happened 4 days later. so I will be in my 2 week wait soon too 😄

I haven’t been testing consistently whatsoever .. I’ve only done a few. But I decided to test this morning out of curiosity, my predicted ovulation date was yesterday so I’d have probably had my surge Wednesday or Thursday. But my line is quite dark this morning. I’m going to do one again later today and tomorrow morning to see what they say. I assume they’ll get fainter, but who knows!

Also, sorry to hear about the issues you’ve both been battling @Plumchumm & @SKLM it must be so frustrating for you both.

Haha omg so unpredictable 🤣🤣 is that boots ovulation tests? Must be expensive! Buy the cheap strips from Amazon it’s so good, that’s what I use

@Plumchumm yeah they are pricey. I ran out of the cheap ones after I thought I had peaked, then I started getting lots of cm yesterday afternoon and it was quickest to get these 😂

@PandaLife thank you :) my line stays dark for a day or so after my peak so it’s normal but keep testing just in case.
for me I know if I’ve ovulated because my cm goes thick literally the very next day

What DPO is everyone? I’m 7 today assuming I ovulated the day after my LH peak.
I had a MMC in February at 10 weeks so I haven’t actually had a period since November last year 😆We’ve not been DTD much but it feels like a good way to ease myself back in after the loss

I’m going to wait the full 2 weeks before testing - well that’s the plan at least haha! Last pregnancy I tested 11DPO (negative) and got a positive 12DPO so it’s handy to have those as benchmarks going forward

Hi all, hope you don’t mind me jumping in…
I’m 8dpo (I believe) and this was our first month TTC after we lost our son just before Christmas (tfmr 💔).
Ive had 3 periods since then and know it can take a while to become regular again so haven’t got high hopes at all. I’ve been having cramps the past two days, feel really sick today and had a headache but can’t tell if that’s just PMS. I didn’t pay much attention the past 2/3 months leading up to AF annoyingly so feel like I’m torturing myself thinking it could be very early signs.
Anyway, AF is due in 5 days for me (there or there about), and I’m really hoping to hold off testing until Tuesday. It will still be early but I’m already finding it hard waiting 🙈. I have a nearly 2 year old and tested 2 days early with him so going with the same this time although don’t expect much as mentioned. Xx

So premom thinks I have reached my peak this morning. I would be glad of it tbh, and so would my husband, it has been a long week 😅

My longest ovulatory cycle ever has been 41 days. Last cycle was 41 days and i peaked at around cd26. I am cd24 now so have told hubby we just have to hold out a couple more days at the most!!

We are putting in so much effort with tracking and dtd this month and both on pre natal vitamins. I am going to be really disappointed if we haven't been successful.

im 1dpo and the shift from feeling all perky during ovulation to post ovulation is crazy 😩 just laid in bed no energy

I am 2dpo - so we’re very similar @Plumchumm i too have had absolutely no energy today and even fell asleep on the sofa this afternoon!
