TWW feels like forever

WHY does the TWW feel like forever?! I thought I was 7dpo then I actually hit my peak late, and now I’m 3dpo and just want to test😂 fertile window being 28th-2nd with ovulation on 3rd and BD every other day so really hoping it’s done the trick. Had a chemical on Nov 10th. Did anyone fall pregnant the cycle after a chemical?

I’m also 3dpo and my last cycle was a chemical lol. We’re in this together 😂 it is dragging on. I’ve decided to treat myself in a different way every day of 2WW so I have something to look forward to

@Plumchumm Ah, snap! Yes, thankfully between work and Christmassy social plans I’m very busy too. I’m really going to try and NOT start testing at 8dpo too😂

@SKLM welcone! Of course you can! Every woman in the dreaded TWW is welcome. I used LH test strips to find my peak and made sure I BD every other day in my window. What about you

@Bubs94 hooray! Same - I used the clear blue digital thing, I used it when TTC our first last year and it seemed to work for us. I was always rubbish at reading the strips! We have BD every day in the fertile window just because we fancied it hehe. Trying to remember if I had any early pregnancy symptoms last time but i'm.not sure. Is this your first?

welcome @SKLM I use the lh strips, and we only BD once in the fertile window.. 2 days before O. So I hope there's a chance 😂
We actually BD twice, but the time before that we used a condom, as I had no idea I was about to ovulate and I had just recovered from thrush so was being careful. Then the next day my libido was still sooo high. We were away on holiday so I didn't have my strips there with me, but I thought ok it might actually be my fertile window, and we did it without a condom. Went home the next day, took an ovulation test, and it was positive.

Haha.. so I'm a little nervous with it being 2 days before O but I hope we have a chance with just 1 try!

@Plumchumm well one time is better than zero times :) it's funny I think you know sometimes when the fertile time is, I get either a dull pain in my stomach or my libido shoots up then I usually get a positive test the next day! It's nice to find a few people on here to chat to during the tww I'll keep my fingers crossed for all of us

@SKLM fingers crossed for you!!🤞🏼 we did the deed every day last cycle because I fancied it too..and the hubby didn’t decline obviously haha! Just wish the days went by faster! And I’m really going to try and not start testing early either!

@Bubs94 I drive myself mad testing early! I have told myself I am officially on a ban this cycle. But knowing me i will cave in!

@Plumchumm this is our 5th cycle trying, what about you? First time we’ve always tried for a baby. Our 4 year old was a happy surprise whilst on contraception

@Plumchumm this is our first month trying for number #2 :) I am optimistically hoping for a Christmas baby but trying not to get my hopes up too much!

@SKLM this is our very first cycle of giving it a go for baby #1- I just went off what my Flo app said! I think it is fairly accurate so we’ll see!! I’m 5 dpo today 🤞🏻

Am I right ladies in thinking the earliest I can try a frer is 10dpo or should I really wait a bit longer? Thanks for letting me join in 😊🫶🏻

I've been using the Flo app too. I read an article on it that implantation occurs 6-10 days after ovulation. Then the pregnancy hormone starts showing up at low levels.

I think with my first I got a very faint positive around 12 dpo but of course I couldn't be sure when I ovulated

Guys, I have an annual leave day today and have been at home over thinking! I think I will be really sad if I don't get pregnant this month. I know it's only the first month trying. But so much mental and physical effort goes in each month doesn't it! I know I will be caving and testing this weekend like last time even though it is far too early! Ugh! How are you keeping yourselves busy? At least I will be back at work tomorrow! Hope you are all well x

I’m at the tail end of the TWW. Period is late but I’ve tested negative on three tests after find positives the day before so not sure what’s going on! Xx

@SKLM that’s very normal, even though you’re only the first month it’s hardest at the start I think because you are so full of hope and don’t really know what to expect. You kind of get more accustomed as months pass by.
but to help ease your mind, I’ve had plenty pregnancies that happened on the first month, with only 1 try even. Just because many people have a fertility journey, doesn’t mean it’s not possible for it to happen first time!
so let yourself feel balanced that it’s entirely possible to happen now, there’s no reason why it shouldn’t. But equally, it’s still normal if it takes a few tries.
I’m keeping myself busy by trying to give myself a new thing to look forward to each day. A few days ago I had a bath with candles, yesterday my fiancé and I went to the Christmas market and saw the lights etc. time passes quick when there’s things to do!

@Plumchumm thanks that's some good perspective there. And I like your idea of giving yourself things to look forward to. I need to put a few things in my diary to do before the end of the week. For now, I am cleaning, which needs to be done and is good distraction.

@CPHB2021 that's really frustrating. Have you been using the same brand each time? If you are testing really early sometimes the lines can vary and the time or day you test, too? I hope you are okay and good luck 😊

Yes, all internet cheap strips. I’ve done two clear blues and both been negative. I’ve just done another clear blue and waiting the 5 mins now! I hope it’s positive because I’ve still no AF but if it’s negative I don’t know what to think! X

I’ve had four internet cheapies with lines. And now just done the clear blue and it’s stark white BFN!
