TWW feels like forever

WHY does the TWW feel like forever?! I thought I was 7dpo then I actually hit my peak late, and now I’m 3dpo and just want to test😂 fertile window being 28th-2nd with ovulation on 3rd and BD every other day so really hoping it’s done the trick. Had a chemical on Nov 10th. Did anyone fall pregnant the cycle after a chemical?

Pretty sure I had quite sore breasts. The bleeding lasted a couple of days then stopped x

I try not to read in to my temps from my smart watch too much but never had it like this before. Do you think it looks positive? I’m 11dpo today. I did a test and thought I saw a shadow but my eyes were so watery and blurry from just waking up so it was probably negative x

@Bubs94 ooh.. well unless you are getting unwell, that looks really promising.

Do you have a test? Faint lines are my speciality!

Ladies I have a question - how high are your LH peaks in numbers? I've not measured any of my cycles using the standard test strips and pre mom app before, have always used clear blue digital so not sure how to look out for my surge beginning.

@Bubs94 I'm interested in seeing your test photo if you have one?

I’ll post a pic of my premom LH levels from last cycle @SKLM i was expecting the peak number to be higher, but it never went higher .. chatgbt told me the sticks looked normal and not to worry about the app figures :/

@SKLM @PandaLife I’m at work now but didn’t take a picture. Going to do another later on. I’m feel so congested, tired, hot and so nauseous. Nausea and swollen gums are usually my fist symptoms (were for all 3 pregnancies; my son and my two chemicals). If I’m not pregnant and this is just PMS, I’m going to be so annoyed x

@Bubs94 yeah I totally feel you on that front, when your body throws out symptoms and it's just pms - must be one of nature's most cruel tricks. But having said that, you could be pregnant 😀i hope work passes quickly and gives you a bit of distraction. Sending you loads of luck!

@SKLM the peak on Premom is usually 0.9-1 for me. But 0.85 can be peak too. As long as for you the test line looks as strong if not stronger then it's positive.

I just have like the worst feeling that I’m not pregnant. I almost was a little hopeful this morning, now I feel like it’s all gone and I just know my period is going to come. I’m supposedly due Sunday so we shall see!

Not the best pics @SKLM but there’s like the FAINTEST line. It has colour but it’s so faint that if someone “normal” looked at it they’d think it’s negative x

@SKLM well now I don’t know because I went to just look at it even though it’s out of the time frame and the line has disappeared so maybe it was just dye run or something. I just don’t know. Also not sure if I’ll test tomorrow, maybe tomorrow eve, or just wait and see if I get my period on Sunday x

I've never had a reading above 1 in premom - this month and the month before last my peak was 0.95 but last month the highest I managed to catch was 0.85 so that was 'peak'. I always think they look positive and premom says its low!

7dpo here and I've been feeling twinges and mild cramps all day. Not allowing myself to get my hopes up that it could be implantation though. I'm debating whether to test on Monday (10dpo) or just leave it and wait for my period. Waiting seemed to make me less obsessive last month but meant it was a huge gut punch when my period arrived.

Temp dropped last night, bfn this morning so I’ll be expecting my period tomorrow. Bleh. Onto cycle 7 we go!

I mean, I read the next cycle means a Christmas baby and I’m not sure I’m keen for that but I’m just going to go with the flow. Positive note, we’re away for a wedding Wednesday pm to Sunday next week so at least I can let my hair down! X

Sorry @Bubs94 😔 I've been thinking about the next cycle being a Christmas due date too, for me it would be a due date of around new year but my DD was over a week early. I wouldn't fancy a birthday between Christmas and new year and I would also worry about not being there to make Christmas magical for my DD 😕But then I don't want to waste a cycle either. It's tricky.

@SKLM still a bit crampy! My watch recorded my highest ever temp last night but it was bloody boiling so probably doesn't mean anything 😂

I haven’t tested my LH levels yet. Part of me doesn’t want to and not track where I am and literally just wait until my period comes. I find it a little too all-consuming. I have two little people on my shoulders, one saying keep tracking and the other saying just let it be …and I’m stuck in the middle.

@Bubs94 i'm cd16. I have had lower abdo cramps for 3 days now, I usually get a peak after 3-4 days of cramps. My LH is still low this morning, I will test this afternoon.

This was my pre-baby cycle pattern, ovulating around cd19. I hope it is getting back to normal for me, around 32 days. Last month's cycle being 41 days was such a brutal waiting game.

Just checked and if I get pregnant this cycle the due date is 15th December. I needed to be induced early last time, so if that's the case i would deliver two weeks earlier. So I'd be just about alive for Christmas 😂

@PandaLife it is consuming isn't it. Every time your period comes you want to quit because logically it is difficult and you shouldn't want to keep putting yourself through something that's hard and upsetting. But then, you get that hormone surge close to ovulation that says 'you must reproduce!!'

Sorry to hear that @Bubs94 I made another thread in the pregnancy topic area and asked people how long it took them to conceive even when they tracked and did everything right and it was so wildly different answers. It reassured me a lot. And it was even different for their first or second or third child etc

personally I don’t mind having a Christmas baby, I love Christmas but my family was never super traditional so would be nice to focus that magical time on the baby.

I wanted to ask.. I have been using my cm to check if I am close to ovulation but.. how do I check if my partner and I had unprotected sex recently? Does that affect cm consistency?

@Plumchumm hey, how is it going? Do you think you have ovulated yet? I think mine should be close now but still a negative LH test.

I have this question also and I did do a bit of reading last cycle. I think semen can mask cm for about 12 hours after sex so if you are using the cm checking method then it might not be so reliable for that time. So, for us, once I see fertile cm for the first time I know ovulation is on the way so we just try to have sex for the next few days x

@SKLM i think I am very close to a positive! 1 day later than usual but I’ll take it. My spotting stopped after a couple of days and tonight cm seems to be egg white. It’s been more than 12 hours so hopefully it’s all ok!

my partner and I will bd again tomorrow morning, that’s when I should get my true peak. I’ve been doing 1 day off 1 day on just so it’s not too much for my body, really don’t want another infection lol but being careful so far

@Plumchumm good luck. Last cycle we did every other day, i'm not sure how we will play it this time, I'm prone to UTIs too and feel very lucky I haven't had one since we started trying in December.

My tests are looking stronger but like it will be another 24 -48 hours before I have a peak. I get lower abdo pain for a few days before I normally get a peak and I have had that for a couple of days now so it can't be far off!
