TWW feels like forever

WHY does the TWW feel like forever?! I thought I was 7dpo then I actually hit my peak late, and now I’m 3dpo and just want to test😂 fertile window being 28th-2nd with ovulation on 3rd and BD every other day so really hoping it’s done the trick. Had a chemical on Nov 10th. Did anyone fall pregnant the cycle after a chemical?

I’ve had exactly the same thoughts regarding cm and .. leftovers .. especially when dtd every day during that time. When I get the first signs of change in cm, we just do it as often as we can.

I did give in and started testing my LH levels today. Highest is 0.13 so we’ll see what happens over the next few days. My cm has begun to change too, so things are in motion.

Good luck @Plumchumm

Plumchumm · 22/03/2026 01:02

thanks @SKLM and @PandaLife good luck to you too! happy to be synced up together hahah x

SKLM · 22/03/2026 06:47

Starting to get frustrated here.. I feel like the peak must be round the corner. The app keeps saying low but I feel like the test isn't far off now? What do you guys think.

So i might have photographed it too fast, I re took it and now it's 0.51 so getting there I think! Going to test this afternoon. Is after 4pm meant to be a good time?

PandaLife · 22/03/2026 07:05

@SKLM The premom app said my tests were all low until my one peak, which was still recorded as low until the following day when it changed to peak. Your latest ones look fairly strong, when are you testing? I read that we shouldn’t test LH on first morning urine and the afternoon/early evening should try and hold it for a few hours so not to be overly diluted. Just to help give a more consistent result.
Keep going though, you should try and look at this as an experiment for yourself to see what your body is doing. I’d maybe suggest doing the LH strips right up until your period is due so you have more info to work with?

DmcinT · 22/03/2026 07:06

@SKLM that is frustrating it’s happening quite slow but it’s deff on the rise, hopefully u catch it today 🤞🏽
I got af yesterday so onto the next cycle 😵‍💫 with a due date of dec 25th if it’s a successful one lol

PandaLife · 22/03/2026 07:07

@SKLM that last photo definitely looks better and stronger :) fingers crossed you get your peak over the next day or two 🤞🏼

SKLM · 22/03/2026 08:47

@DmcinT how many cycles have you been trying now?

@PandaLife thanks for your knowledge - the clear blue thing tells you to do it first thing in the morning which is interesting. I just have a feeling that clear blue digital monitor was giving me a peak reading too early. I am feeling much better looking at the strips. Will try to hold from 1pm today! I think that's an excellent idea about tracking for a while cycle I might give that a go, even if I don't do it every day I will still get a sense of what happens for me in the luteal phase.

CauliflowerCheese00 · 22/03/2026 08:58

@SKLMmy peaks literally happen in one day - last cycle was all in the 0.2s on mid afternoon tests, and then BAM a jump to 1.24 the next day. That day I tested again about 9pm and was down to about 0.8. I don’t know if it’s my body just still settling from stopping hormonal contraceptives at Christmas, or if that’s just its usual style 🤷🏻‍♀️

CauliflowerCheese00 · 22/03/2026 09:00

I tested yesterday and was bfn - haven’t bothered today. Premom says my period is now late but I wasn’t expecting it until today or tomorrow so will wait and see. 13dpo today so pretty sure I’m out.

Plumchumm · 22/03/2026 10:43

@SKLM you are very close keep testing, like others have said mine is generally low until my peak hits then it goes quick. also I thought you ovulated on day 20? So you might still be gearing up x

MamaOooh · 22/03/2026 16:19

Question for anyone who temps...

Have you ever had temps go significantly higher than normal during tww and then still got a BFN? My watch recorded a massive jump yesterday and another 0.1+ today which is higher than I've ever recorded. But the weather has gotten warmer and I wasn't tracking last summer so I've no idea if baselines just get generally higher depending on the season or if it's a good sign. I'm 9dpo, cycle day 23.

I have which is why I don’t temp anymore. Only when temp stays high past missed period is when it means something x

Bubs94 · 22/03/2026 19:38

@MamaOooh I got a huge temp rise (out of my usual) and I came on my period yesterday and a lot of bfn’s

Ahh thanks for the reality check @Bubs94 and @Plumchumm !

Starryxx · 22/03/2026 21:26

hiya all! has anyone experienced like lower right light cramping (sorry that’s a mouthful) when having a full bladder? it starts when i wee and finishes a few minutes after I’m done, this doesn’t usually happen to me so I’m crazy symptom spotting rn 🫣🤣

Plumchumm · 22/03/2026 21:29

@Starryxx yeah I get that when I'm in my fertile period. It's because the egg is pretty big at that point, so your bladder can press on the ovaries/uterus in a funny way. Obviously if it's severe you should get that checked, but I have had it mildly before x

ohhh i see thank you!! , gosh i hope im not in my fertile period my period is due in a few days! x

CauliflowerCheese00 · 23/03/2026 07:39

Negative test at 14dpo this morning so I’m out - hopefully not long to wait for my period to start…

MamaOooh · 23/03/2026 09:15

I stupidly tested last night (9dpo, evening wee) and convinced myself there was the very faintest of shadows. Obviously it was just craziness because I've had a definite BFN this morning at 10dpo on an early test. I know it's not completely game over but it feels like it. No 2026 baby for me 🙁

Sorry about your negative too @CauliflowerCheese00. Hope AF doesn't keep you waiting too long.

Plumchumm · 24/03/2026 12:28

How is everyone today? I had an ultrasound yesterday and looks like I’m not even close to ovulating 🤣 I love pcos x

Janey3090 · 24/03/2026 12:46

6DPO but feeling hopeless already. My LH levels have dropped to 0.05 today, and no symptoms at all.

Wondering if I actually ovulated at all (I don't track with BBT because it doesn't work with me as I'm up so many times in the night.) Took letrozole and I had all the CM, and high tests, but I know that doesn't always mean confirmed ovulation.

Nearly 2 years into TTC no 2 and losing hope!

PandaLife · 24/03/2026 16:20

@CauliflowerCheese00 sorry to hear that you’re out this month :( I hope you’re ok.

@MamaOooh did you test again today?

@Janey3090 sorry to hear that. Do you test your LH levels for ovulation? Sorry if you’ve already told us that previously, I can’t remember ..

@SKLM have you reached your peak yet?

I have very half heartedly tested my LH levels. As in, done three but even they aren’t consistent so I’ve decided to stop altogether this month. I’m just going to let things be what they will be. I’ll see what happens.

SKLM · 24/03/2026 16:31

@MamaOooh I feel your pain, the amount of times I have stated at a very faint line or indent over the last few months. You end up doubting your own sanity! I hope you are alright.

@PandaLife I find tracking ovulation more stressful than testing for pregnancy so I don't blame you for giving it a miss for a month. I am wondering if I have missed my peak, or if my peaks are actually quite low number wise. The other day when I had a darker line and the reading was 0.5, I got fertile cm, since then the tests are back to very low. I had two days of fertile cm and cramping one sided pain to accompany the 0.5 reading and now that is gone and my breasts aren't sore anymore. I am CD 19 today and usually I have ovulated by now.

I will keep testing LH this cycle just incase. We have had sex the last three nights so that covers my 0.5 'peak' + 1 day if it was indeed a peak!

MamaOooh · 24/03/2026 19:51

I tested again this morning and BFN - 11DPO and it was an ultra early test so I'm counting myself out now. I think we will skip the next cycle as well, we are away during what will probably be my fertile time (sharing a hotel room with our 4 year old 😅), so gonna try and have a nice chill 6 weeks without thinking about ttc! Then onto cycle 8 in May 💪

This thread will probably be full when I'm back in my next tww but I so hope I return to some BFPs for you guys!! Sending loads of luck to everyone trying, it really is an emotional rollercoaster.
