Hi everyone, just starting up a board for those of us thinking of TTC this month 😊 This is our first month TTC number 3. I just turned 40 so it's unlikely to happen quickly if at all, but we've decided to give it a couple of months just to leave it to fate! Looking forward to chatting with you all!

Hi, we also just decided to TTC last week also, I have a 12 year old of my own and we have a two year old together. I'm cycle 1 CD3, the others were unplanned so I just feel like it would just be typical if it took a while to conceive and I'm almost 37 so fingers crossed for everyone 🤞

SilverSprings510 · 19/11/2025 19:59

I’ll join here too! Also on the Nov group but will be testing in Dec. Cycle 1 CD3 TTC #2. Have a DS who is 2. I’m 32 also!

Anonna123 · 19/11/2025 20:02

Yay welcome @SilverSprings510 @Washingmachine22 I'm on cycle 1 CD7 so similar to you both 😊

Same as me - CD11 so heading into fertile window soon (although ovulated at CD18 last month, cycles still settling post losing our daughter at 22 weeks in September).

Cycle 6732 TTC No1 (at least that's how it feels!). 9 year journey with a 3 year gap in the middle, 4 miscarriages and a neonatal death. 2-3 more months before we start IVF, this is our last cycle before our initial consultation.

@Moosey898 That's a rough journey, I'm sorry 🤍 Fingers crossed for you this month.

Thank you. You never know, one month might be the one that ends up working for us ☺️

Hi,
Im new to this... There isn't much support in terms of support forums/groups for TTC where I'm from so I thought, might as well look online.... Im 35 and every month feels like im walking on eggshells with baked breath hoping "it's my time" but unfortunately it hasn't yet worked out for my husband and I. Sadly, his brother currently has 7 kids (and counting) and my SIL makes things uncomfortable for me as she tends to remind not only my husband and I but the family that shes expecting again, and I haven't been able to get pregnant once. I feel my resolve slowly stretching past its limit and just giving up but a part of me keeps telling me to keep trying... Husband suggested I reach out to other ladies in my situation for some moral support and to connect. So here I am...

Biscuitbaby2218 · 20/11/2025 06:49

I’ll join ! I’m on cycle 3 ttc should hopefully be ovulating in the first week of December and then will be testing around mid December.

good luck for this cycle ladies! ☺️

Forums have helped keep me sane! It's a really great place to vent and have other people who understand how you're feeling. We're all on different journeys but hoping for the same destination! How long have you been trying now? Sorry it's so difficult with your sister in law, you don't need that when it's already stressful enough TTC.

Thank you for your encouragement. I have been trying to find people around me that understands so I can open up and not feel like im overwhelming or unheard but its super hard. Just knowing im not alone means alot. My husband and I have been trying for the past 7yrs. We've had 4 miscarriages only to be told later in our journey I have stage 4 endometriosis. I've had the laparoscopy which pushed out TTC journey back 2yrs. I feel like every time I get a little bit closer to feeling sane.... I get knocked back down again with insensitive remarks by those around me.

You're 100% not alone. Our stories are actually quite similar, except instead of endometriosis I have chromosome abnormalities. The rest is very similar indeed! Sending big hugs - you've always got a place here. Have you had any assistance like IVF?

Thanks to you, I feel I made the right choice to look for TTC forums. It's different hearing "You're not alone" from those that are in the same boat as you, as opposed to hearing it from people around you that don't really understand the struggles. Thank you! Your warmth has really affirmed my choice to be here 🥹 we unfortunately haven't tried IVF, we missed the cap for funded treatments where we are and we unfortunately dont have a spare 12k - 20k in our savings to pay for 1x IVF cycle gor private ivf treatments. We tried public funding but sadly my husband doesn't meet the health "requirements" as he was a kidney donor for his late father. So we've trying everything else we could hoping for a blessing🤞

Hi Ladies I’m 34 I have one child and recently had a TFMR at 18 weeks he was a little boy which devastated us. We’re taking it month by month just ordered some LH tests yesterday so waiting for them to come not sure where I am at in my cycle yet fingers crossed for us all that December is our month x

Anonna123 · 20/11/2025 12:05

@PatientAndHopeful you are very welcome here! I found TTC forums so comforting when I was TTC my older kids, and we actually formed a Facebook group and became real friends in the process ❤️ I find the anonymity but also sense of community really empowering!
@Biscuitbaby2218 welcome!
@Ash2345f welcome, and I am very sorry for your recent loss 🤍

Hi everyone!

I’m jumping on here too! Had my nexplanon removed on 7th November and are TTC for our second! Already got a little boy who is 3!

Pretty sure I ovulated on 14th November from OPK (missed the peak though :( and pain so in the dreaded TWW now! About 7dpo!

Anonna123 · 21/11/2025 21:48

Has anyone tried Mucinex (Robutissin in the UK) for conception? I remembered today that both of the cycles that I successfully conceived was when I was taking it, so I'm going to run out and get some tomorrow! You need to take it in the run up to ovulation and it does something to your cervical fluid. I think it's been officially disproved but honestly it worked for me last time so 🤞
@Jess1898 welcome 👋 I have a three year old boy too, they're the best!

I haven’t tried Mucinex but I have been taking seven seas trying for a baby vitamins!

Honestly, I don’t want my little boy to grow up, he’s fab! Although between him and the puppy, I don’t know why on earth I’m thinking another baby is a good idea 🤣

Fullofconfusion · 23/11/2025 11:40

Hi ladies,
it sounds like some of us have had a really rough ride. I hope your journeys become smoother and this is the month for you all.

I’ve also had a pretty horrible journey. I have a son who is 7 from my previous relationship. Me and my DH fell pregnant last year with our first child together but had to make the awful decision to TFMR at 22 weeks as baby had a heart condition. It broke us and we took a break from TTC for 6 months. We then managed to get pregnant again earlier this year and had a missed miscarriage in June. Unfortunately time feels like it is against us as I’m 40 now but trying to remain hopeful.

I’m currently cd5. AF is packing her bags and showing herself out so I’m ready to start trying again in December. I usually ovulate at about cd19/20 according to LH strips

ELTWithACupOfTea · 24/11/2025 09:07

Hi 👋🏻 I’m joining my first ever TTC thread…

Had my implant removed on the 10th November, know it might take time for things to get back to normal but I’m already driving myself mad… definitely need a place to talk.

Have some OPKs and BBT tracking to see when I start ovulating so fingers crossed🤞🏻 and same for everyone else

I know what you mean, it's such a lovely age! We also have a 7 year old boy and that's a nice age too. Although we don't have a puppy! That's definitely like having a baby 😂 Our plan is to TTC for a few months and if it doesn't work we'll probably get a puppy instead 😄

@Fullofconfusion welcome, and I'm sorry to hear about your journey. TFMR is such a very hard decision 💔 I'm also 40 and I hear you on the age concerns.
@ELTWithACupOfTea welcome! Fingers crossed for this month 😊

Jess1898 · 24/11/2025 10:28

@Anonna123it really is! Yeah we got the puppy who is definitely like a second child, because we were adamant we didn’t want anymore children! But that changed and now we are TTC! 🤣 Get a puppy anyway! 🤣

@ELTWithACupOfTeawelcome! I’m similar to you in that I had my implant removed on 7th November! I ovulated 7 days after having it removed and AF came yesterday so fingers crossed for a BFP in December! ☺️

Anonna123 · 24/11/2025 10:32

@Jess1898 I think DH is a little disappointed that we'd have to postpone getting a dog if we have a new baby, but maybe we could get a puppy and train it while I was pregnant! Twins run in my family and I told him that by this time next year we might have four kids and a dog, that would be ...a jump to say the least 🤣 His face went white 🤣

OP posts:
Moosey898 · 24/11/2025 10:46

@Anonna123 if I were you I'd get the puppy now! Much better to have 8+ months to train it before a baby (get through the start of teenage dog phase!), otherwise realistically you wouldn't have time to properly train it until baby is a fair bit older so you might be waiting years depending on how long TTC takes!

I am somewhat biased because my Labrador is my absolute heart and soul and has saved me time and time again whilst on this TTC journey but I'm so grateful we had and did extensive training when she was little because she's the perfect dog now xx

Ash2345f · 24/11/2025 11:29

@Fullofconfusion Hey can I ask when your AF returned after your TFMR, we’ve recently gone through the same and I’m wondering when it will return so I can track a little easier please x
