Don’t tell me this is positive? My second baby is only 5 months old…

This came up in the 3 minutes. I know sometimes clearblue tests can show false positives and this is so so faint. I feel sick. My pregnancy was so bad last time and I was in such a bad mental state. I’ve been on the pill but haven’t had my period.

It does look positive. I'm a mum to Irish twins and it was SO HARD in the beginning but it's more than paid off now they are 4 and 5 soon to be 5 and 6. I didn't enjoy much of either pregnancy and ended up with severe PND, anxiety, OCD in the beginning but sought help via meds and therapy. Motherhood is so hard. Sending hugs whatever outcome/decisions you need to make. X

MidlandsGal1 · 20/10/2025 21:00

Looks like a faint positive to me.

Orangeroses243 · 20/10/2025 21:21

Honestly I can't hardly see anything! I would of binned it and assumed negative aha! Definitely dont do that as others seems to think positive!

Editing-.to confirm not laughing at test or post OP - but more at how clueless id be and assume negative! I re read my comment and just wanted to clarify this as didn't want it to come across the wrong way xx

Finsburyfancy · 20/10/2025 21:22

There's definitely a line. So the questions are:
Did it come up with the time limit?
And how many days post ovulation are you?

If it didnt, or you are more than 10dpo, I'd be suspicious of a false positive and retest.

blankcanvas3 · 20/10/2025 21:25

It looks positive to me

That's quite an outdated and derogatory term.

rainbowbaby2 · 20/10/2025 21:57

I don’t know… I was on the Evra patch and came off it last month. If I’ve got it right I’m on cycle day 33 and my cycle length is normally 28 days.

I'd get a pregnant/not pregnant one tomorrow. If does look positive though.

rainbowbaby2 · 20/10/2025 22:03

Realised I said in my op that I was on the pill. My brain isn’t working. It was the patch lol. Similar thing.

@Yibbleyabble Irish twins is an offensive term.

Fiftyandme · 20/10/2025 23:13

Sorry OP, that’s a line

Outside9 · 20/10/2025 23:15

Looks like an evaporation line.

Try a digital or red dye test.

rainbowbaby2 · 20/10/2025 23:44

I’ll update in the morning when I do another test… 😬

Get a first response. They’re much clearer

rainbowbaby2 · 20/10/2025 23:47

Yes I’ve always preferred first response tests. Or the small strip ones. Will get one tomorrow.

notallymcbeal · 21/10/2025 00:12

It does look positive OP but good luck for tomorrow.

To everyone saying Irish twins is an offensive term - did you forget to add 'to me' after it? I'm from a big Irish family and we don't find it offensive at all. The question was also asked on r/Ireland on Reddit here https://www.reddit.com/r/ireland/comments/rmfneh/peoplefromirelanddoyoufindthetermirish/ and the consensus there was that it's not offensive.

Reminds me of being told using the word 'brainstorm' was offensive to people with epilepsy. I've asked many epileptics if it's offensive and the consensus there is that they're more offended some idiot is calling their condition a 'brainstorm'.

Edited to add in that I'm also an Irish twin. I was born in June and my sis was born the following May - we like being twins for a fortnight.

How are they twins if they are a year apart?

I'm Irish it's fine.

EmPeEf · 21/10/2025 01:54

That looks like a skinny evap line to me.

rainbowbaby2 · 21/10/2025 07:02

I just took another test and it’s definitely negative! Never felt so much relief. But now I’m still wondering where my period is.

Don’t tell me this is positive? My second baby is only 5 months old…

@Yibbleyabble Irish twins is an offensive term.

To whom?

rainbowbaby2 · 21/10/2025 07:04

These were last nights tests. I know you shouldn’t look at them after 10 minutes but these lines were definitely there in the 3 minutes. Could it be a chemical pregnancy?

I think you’re pregnant

Overthebow · 21/10/2025 07:07

I’d get a different test and test again. What was the reason you tested, you must have thought it was possible that you’re pregnant? At 5 months pp your cycles will likely bit be regular, lots of people don’t even have their period back by then. It’s possible it’s just that and you’re not pregnant. But then 2 out of 3 of those tests look positive.
