lardylumps · 28/05/2008 18:49

Squack pizza you lucky lucky lady.... ummmmmmmmm

kayzisexpecting · 28/05/2008 18:51

SIL is quite nice, can be a pain but not very often.

It was fine LL, the HV just said to look out for him being a bit grumpy and having a high temp which is normal with jabs anyway. Also about 2 weeks after they can sometimes come out in a small rash which is caused by the Rubella part but she said only a small amount of the kids get it and it lasts about a day.

kookykid · 28/05/2008 18:54

Hee hee - super soaker!!!!!!!!
Just splurted my tea everywhere! oops (new comupter!)
lastbox, I will give the egg whites a go next month as this is my first month using OPK so will try that first!
I'm off to a Pampered Chef evening tonight... won't be buying anything though as it is ridiculously expensive!
Can't be too late home tho, as need to GOF again tonight. Wonder who'll get pg first, Squack sounds like you are already (fingers crossed for you).
Gotta go and cook dinner - chicken in a cream and chili sauce with cous cous FYI.

lardylumps · 28/05/2008 18:54

I am so worried about the MMR. We asked about paying to have the seperate jabs but apparently there is no rubella vaccine in the country at the moment.

She is having hers on the 3rd of June and I have been warned that it is 3 jabs this time... I hate needles .....

kookykid · 28/05/2008 18:55

LL don't worry too much about MMR - my DD had a worse reaction from the pnemuococal (spelling!).

kookykid · 28/05/2008 18:57

LL, also my DH (a geneticist/scientist geek) says the original research done that linked MMR to autism is utterly without foundation. I know he would never put DD at risk and he was more than happy for her to have it.

lardylumps · 28/05/2008 19:00

Thanks Kooky that is good to hear...

kayzisexpecting · 28/05/2008 19:08

Why 3 LL?

lardylumps · 28/05/2008 19:15

Dont know but they said last time when she had her hib booster that the next one is 3 jabs....

Dp is going to try and get the day off work so he can come with me. I really am a baby when it comes to needles. Last time they wouldn't let me leave the surgery as I was shaking so much...

kayzisexpecting · 28/05/2008 19:24

DH has to come with me as I am the same. I hate my MW appts that have to give blood.

lastboxoftampons · 28/05/2008 19:25

Sorry to go back to THIS topic again but just got home to find that we DO have a turkey baster - although a slighty posh cold metal one! Not sure it's suitable for use! And Squack I was just in Sainsbury's local and they had water pistols for 49p. Was sooooo tempted!

lardylumps · 28/05/2008 19:29

LBOT are you OV at the moment?

lastboxoftampons · 28/05/2008 19:55

Probably tomorrow LL

lardylumps · 28/05/2008 19:59

Squack · 28/05/2008 20:00

Moosma · 28/05/2008 21:36

Evening all, no GOFs for me tonight as DH is away for the night. First time in the 5.5 years we've been married and, typical, DD2 isn't well. She's got 3 teeth coming and she has a cold, now she's got a barky cough too, she coughed so hard just now she was a bit sick I've dosed her up with calpol and neurofen and smothered her in Vicks, hopefully she'll sleep well tonight and get better quickly.

You lot have kept me chuckling though, all this talk of egg whites and turkey basters - I can't wait to hear how it all goes! I can imagine it all going a bit (ooh Diege, I get your omelette joke now [dim blond]) sticky and nasty!

Right, I think I might go to bed, I think i might have a slightly disturbed night.

G'night all

EsmeWeatherwax · 28/05/2008 21:43

Sympathy Moosma, my dd is the same at the minute. Not had a decent night's sleep since Friday...

kayzisexpecting · 29/05/2008 06:55

Morning!

I hope all the egg white GOF's went well last night.

DS woke up with a crash at half 1 this morning. We think he rolled over and rolled into the end of his cot. I gave him a cuddle and some milk and he went back to sleep. Didn't half make me jump though.

Got my scan tomorrow!!! I can't wait!!!

Squack · 29/05/2008 07:02

Ooh exciting kayz. will you post a pic of LO?

I took my temp this morning and it has shot up

LBOT you simply must come on and tell all re your slippery incidents lol

Awww! Moos it's no fun is it? is she any better today?
