Hi everyone. Little bit worried this morning. CD16 today. Anyone use clearblue advanced digital ovulation sticks? I usually get my solid smiley about CD18/19. Currently my 4th day of empty circle, would normally have had a flashing by now. Hoping it's just me going to ovulate a little bit later x

CD9 here and super low opks at 0.17. supposed to be ovulating on Saturday so there's time but I'm also concerned it might be delayed since I've just had a chemical. So with that and my 8 week loss this year and the fact I'm 37 I'm right there with you and the not believing it will happen @FlyHighSky72 My temping is definitely to be taken with a pinch of salt. I'm measuring every time I wake in the night and using the lowest number since my nights are still broken at the moment.

Hey x yes it may be a little off with your chemical. Mine was actually a day or so earlier. Sorry to hear of your losses. Similar situation to you. Had a miscarriage in Feb and a chemical straight after in March. Just turned 38. Have been in touch with doc and got some blood tests booked in and pelvic ultrasound. Sending love...it's a hard time x

Hi, have you been stressed or sick lately? If my ovulation is late it’s often caused by that 🫶🏼 But then my peak is more rapid when I eventually ovulate

@Ash2345f the2nd line doesn't look dark enough 🤔. Are you testing at the same time of the day?

Girls, something funny 😁 I don't know if you've heard about Mummy Pig (from Peppa Pig) having another baby. It has been all over the news, including Daily Mail. I couldnt help but think: Oh man, even Mummy Pig can get pregnant before me 🤣

Hahaha exactly my thoughts 🤣🤣 even Mummy pig managed it

hopingfor4 · 26/05/2025 07:00

@FlyHighSky72 im not a huge big drinker anyway, on an evening it’s just water really, sometimes I’ll throw in a twinnings detox tea if I’m feeling fancy 😂
7dpo today we are camping at the weekend so I think I might try hold out until Thursday or Friday morning to test

peanutForever · 26/05/2025 07:24

@jelliebean9i have to test early for prog prescription, but yes the hope even for a day or two is terrible with chemicals!

I actually only have one cheapie test as i bought a pack of 5 so im trying to hold out until weds (9dpo) as i used the other 4 last month despite knowing we didnt BD in the window.

Im trying not to buy anymore tests but i know i will! Ive given the only one i have to DH . Im toying with the idea that i think it would be nice for him to find out then tell me as he wouldn't call a faint line a positive but i also know 9DPO will probs give a negative

woken up in a foul mood and have period type cramps not implantation type ones so thats fun

daisy2025 · 26/05/2025 08:10

I finally got my peak today (CD19) which is 1 day later than usual and means my luteal phase is still short (will be 8 days, maybe even 7 this cycle).

I’m going to drop the b-complex as last cycle I also got my peak on CD19 (always been CD18/17 before) and it’s the only new thing I’ve added in.

Me and DH are still BD every other day in hopes something happens but also being realistic that with the luteal phase length and DH first set of SA results not being great, it may not happen for a couple of months whilst we’re waiting for new supplements and lifestyle changes to take effect.

If anyone has any success stories with a short luteal phase and SA results not being great, or tips, please share!

We are TTC our first, 8 months in - who knew it would be so stressful haha

Sending baby dust to everyone ✨

Hello all! I’ve been a bit quiet as trying not to think about testing 🙈 I’m 7DPO today and am convinced I felt some twinges yesterday, but trying to put it to the back of my mind. Reducing caffeine over the next few days though just in case. I’m still toying with wether to test early or wait until I’m a week late - I’m in that place where knowing about a chemical would probably be better for my Tommy’s appointment in September vs ignoring it and protecting my sanity.

@peanutForeveryou definitely can’t put your life on hold! I usually have 6DPO as my cutoff for a drink - in my eyes, there isn’t even a chance of a pregnancy until that point. There’s nothing to say that has to be a cut off either, so long as you’re not getting hammered 🤣 I know there’s a suggestion that drinking in luteal phase can harm chances of implantation but I doubt the odd drink would make a difference. I’m not a drinker at all, but I go to town on the odd occasion I do go out! However, I do love an aperol spritz on a sunny day (which I had on Saturday whilst out with DH and DS in the sunshine).

Ec2808 · 26/05/2025 08:20

@peanutForever i paid so much attention to not drinking last month and it didn't change anything so this month decided whenever i want to have a glass of wine i'll have one will see what the outcome will be..but not putting life on hold anymore just trying to enjoy the ride this cycle 😘

Same! Spent 3 months eating disgusting foods just because nutrition, cutting out alcohol and caffeine, taking pills and still not pregnant so just gonna enjoy life this summer instead, I think our bodys are happier when we’re happy 🥰

FlyHighSky72 · 25/05/2025 16:39

Thanks @MayaByeah I’m trying!

On another note - what does everyone drink of an evening when trying to be healthy/alcohol?

I’ve been having grapefruit with tonic before ovulation and pomegranate juice with tonic after ovulation. Apparently both are good and they’re with tonic! Also been drinking a lot of kombucha as that’s nice and also good for your gut.

Muddysocks1 · 26/05/2025 08:42

Is anyone else taking progesterone after ovulation this cycle? I’m trying it for the first time. Bit nervous about using suppositories as never had them before 😬

This made me laugh as I had the exact same tought! Plus, we love Evie as a name. Husband reassures me we could still call a little girl Evie, it's not a close relative with the same name 😂

Adca · 26/05/2025 09:04

Hi to all newbies in similar situations👏🏻 Best of luck to you all this cycle too ✨

jelliebean9 · 26/05/2025 09:22

I thought I read somewhere on here a person describing the boob pain in the TWW and they said it was a similar feeling to when your milk comes in and your boobs get full. Omg I feel it! Last month with my chemical I had the same sensation and now I have it again. I’ve never had it as a typical PMS symptom, only ever relating to pregnancy. I’m quietly hopeful for this cycle but at 4/5dpo, it’s obvs too early to even think of it really 🤣 anyone else feel similar on their boobs?

Hey! I managed to lengthen my luteal phase from 8/9 days to the last cycle being 12! I have religiously taken b6 alongside a b complex and high dose Vit C. These are supposed to help but I can only assume they have! Also take high dose Vit D, pregnacare, omega 3 and coq-10 x

ChaE05 · 26/05/2025 09:26

@BerrieSweetyes maybe, quite an anxious person and I guess you never know what that is going to your body! I had alot of EWCM this morning so feel confident my body is getting there. X

FlyHighSky72 · 26/05/2025 09:36

Thanks @Muddysocks1those sound yummy! I bought some alcohol free Prosecco last night, tbh tastes ok but really sugary so can’t imagine it’s great for me!!

Hi all moving over from May thread. 10dpo today and negative test. I know I’m not necessarily out yet but not hopeful as only first proper cycle ttc#3 and I’m 40 so think it could take a little while. I’m feeling ok though as we go on holiday 2 weeks tomorrow so can enjoy a few drinks and no pregnancy symptoms. Also means I’ll ovulate whilst away so hopefully be nice and relaxed to help and tww will be a bit more chilled too

Ec2808 · 26/05/2025 09:53

anybody ever notice change in dischage early in cycle? only CD9 but noticed a change today...yesterday was creamy and this moning also creamy but increased amount and now it's mixture of creamy and stretchy cm..not clear but stretchy? does this mean i'm in my fertile window already?

FlyHighSky72 · 26/05/2025 10:15

@Ec2808i was just thinking the same! I know what EWCM looks like but I seem to get the same stretch but cloudy early on in my cycle (ie now at CD7) and I’m never sure what to log it as (it’s not watery or creamy! It’s basically cloudy EWCM) - I know I’m not ovulating yet as my OPKs are low. Do you track OPKs?

OP posts:
Ec2808 · 26/05/2025 10:17

@FlyHighSky72 yes exactly the same it's cloudy ewcm...normally don't get this as early haven't even started the opk's yet because predicted fertile window should start wednesday but going off of cm might take one when i get home from work

Oh no! I tried some alcohol free red wine when I was briefly pregnant before but it just tasted like nothing 🙈

HennyPenny27 · 26/05/2025 11:20

@Ec2808can you feel if your cervix has changed position? Like is it sitting high or has it come down lower?

Ec2808 · 26/05/2025 11:58

@HennyPenny27 just checked and feels like it's high...but not very experienced with this...
