Exactly 2 weeks late now, haven't done a test for a few days as don't see much point really, but being 2 weeks late bit weird isn't it?

Saying that though dh & i have had a couple of nights of romantic behaviour since lol .

OP posts:

If the small bleed you had was a proper period (albeit a very short one) would you normally be OV'ing around now?

But even if that is the case, and you were never pregnant, all of the BFP's don't add up....

pucca · 19/05/2008 11:19

That is what is weird, when i was TTC ds, i was ov-ing between cd15 and cd20. Ds i actually got pg late in my cycle, not normal at all.

This would be CD4 if all ok, and i am not pg or anything else.

pucca · 19/05/2008 11:21

Also that OPK i did on 4th May ( 1 week before the bleed) was definately pos, as i panicked as dh & i had been amorous the night before, as i thought i was already pg so it didn't matter, the next day i got a pos OPK.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 19/05/2008 11:21

But the bleed was longer than 4 days ago wasn't it?

Am I getting mixed up or did you get a pos OPK a week or so ago as well? (read fora too many of these threads to remember every little detail!)

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 19/05/2008 11:21

Fora? For.... tut, am not with it this morning, LG&T has knocked me for six....! Lulu, have you heard her news?

pucca · 19/05/2008 11:28

I had a normal period on the 25th March, then i had this 2 day light bleed on 12th May.

I got a pos OPK on the 4th May, then had the light bleed 7 days after that (last Monday)

pmsl.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 19/05/2008 11:38

If the light bleed started on the 12th, then you would now be on CD8 (if not pregnant) It starts from the first day of your period. But, that doesn't explain anything anyway, because you've now got another pos OPK......

So even the MC/pregnant again theory doesn't fit, because you wouldn't have OV'ed again.

It is almost as if you have been pregnant all along, your hormones started to build up, then decreased, then built up again.....?????? That just doesn't happen, does it?

Well, all of this second guessing isn't going to help is it? I think you need to go back to the surgery tomorrow morning - don't just ring for the results, go down there - obviously if the results come back pos, then you do need to insist on a scan, because you'd have no idea of the EDD, and equally, if it is neg, you need to camp there till he gives you answers, seriously, this can't go on for much longer, put your foot down, and tell him you're not leaving until he does something to try and work out what is going on, it is the only way you are going to find out anything, and put a stop to all of the worrying and pissing about!

What did you say when he asked you if you felt pregnant?

pucca · 19/05/2008 11:42

This is what i mean, none of it adds up does it? there is just no logical explaination.

I said yes, i do, but it could now be my mind playing tricks. WTF is going on???? ARGH

pucca · 19/05/2008 11:44

Anyway i am a selfish cow

How are you feeling?

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 19/05/2008 11:44

But you felt pregnant even before your period would have been due, so it can't all be in your head.

'Tis all very strange....

pucca · 19/05/2008 11:44

Just out of interest i am gonna go and do another OPK.....

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 19/05/2008 11:49
Meeely2 · 19/05/2008 11:51

wot does opk test for? cos i can def see line on the opk and the tesco preg test.

pucca · 19/05/2008 11:52

Ok, have just squeezed a wee out lol, i only did my sample for doc at 10.20 though, so only been 1.5 hrs since last did a wee.

OPK test for ovulating meeely2...but there is some speculation as to whether they pick up HCG too.

pucca · 19/05/2008 11:53

Will give it a couple of mins then will take a pic NJ....

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 19/05/2008 11:53

OPK = Ovulation Predictor Kit, used for predicting when you OV, but, it an pick up on hCG (pregnancy hormone), though should never be used as a definate answer to pregnancy.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 19/05/2008 11:58

Sorry, I am here, just shovelling eating ice cream! It is hard work typing one handed...

pucca · 19/05/2008 12:03

Ok, pic added, its the same as yesterdays, top one is yesterdays bottom one is just now...

Top one has now of course dried (nice) lol.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 19/05/2008 12:07

Those lines are going to be the same strength when dried...

I really think all you can do now is just wait for the test results from the doc tomorrow.

Still feel free to rant on here I have given up trying to guess what's going on though! I can't fit it all in my head with shake ache!

nappyaddict · 19/05/2008 12:37

if you were pregnant how far gone would you be now? i know someone who was still testing negative at 16 weeks!!

pucca · 19/05/2008 12:40

NA...Thats the thing, if i am i would either be 8 weeks or 4 weeks. My last proper period was 25th March, then i had a 2 day light bleed on the 4th May.

nappyaddict · 19/05/2008 12:52

if this comes back negative ask for an internal scan.

Lulumama · 19/05/2008 13:18

no, NJ, not seen LG&Ts news... i wonder what it could be ?

pucca · 19/05/2008 13:26

Sorry i got mixed up then (i wonder why lol)

Proper period on the 25th March, and light period for 2 days on the 12th May.

Lulumama · 19/05/2008 13:28

there are definitely lines on them, but if they are not HPTs, how accurate are they in terms of detecting HCG?
