Hi all ☺️ I am now starting Cycle 6 TTC baby number one. I know some of us on January thread said it would be good to set up a Feb thread so thought i’d start it.

I should be ovulating around 17-18th so will be testing on 1st Feb!

@Kateb149 i normally get really bloated too when af is due, nothing, so confusing xx

Orangelover · 28/01/2025 08:40

I think I'm now about 7DPO and the days are dragging. Trying to be really good and hold out to test when AF is due.

I've had a bit of mild pelvic pain but I do often get that mid cycle around ovulation and beyond. I've also got very itchy nipples Blush

I think you should get some more tests just in case, I have everything crossed for you 🤞

I’ve noticed that this month too… no bloating, no sore boobs and not feeling hormonal, which are all normal for me at this time in my cycle. I haven’t felt any twinges of anything really xx

Morning ☺️ I’m 8DPO today so I know how you feel! It is really dragging… when is AF due for you? Do you think you’ll hold out to test in a few days? Itchy nipples sounds likr a good sign 😅

Yea same! I normally get really emotional by now and that hasn’t happened, yet, il grab some tests in a min when I run to shops, I’m nervous xx

Mummy1502 · 28/01/2025 09:12

@Kateb149 i just feel like heavy feeling in the bottom of my belly if you know what I mean plus cramps and tmi white watery discharge down below that’s why I keep checking to see if it’s blood xx

Just catching up on the thread. Nice to see some of you are progressing through 2ww now - nice to get towards the latter stages of that. I'm on cd8 and started the OPKs all easy so far. A bit confused I'm having EWCM already but hoping it's just coming early before I get my LH surge. In-laws staying means we can't really just start DTD frequently which is a bit annoying tbh!! Really trying to relax this cycle about it but it's so hard. Been listening to that podcast @Kateb149 it's so good. The one on the follicular phase was helpful and reminded me that I need to be taking good care of myself to give ovulation the best shot! I'll be telling my DH that too!! 😅

Kateb149 · 28/01/2025 09:34

@Mummy1502 I honestly am sooo hopeful for you! It’s completely understandable feeling nervous, you’ve only got one more day and then you should have some answers. Try and take care of yourself today as much as you can. Watery discharge is also a good sign I think ☺️ I’ve had the same this past week! Xx

It’s good you’ve spotted some EWCM even if it is a bit early 😅 good that you have it. It must be a pain having the in-laws staying 😅 will they be with you over your whole fertile period?

I’m glad you’re enjoying the podcast as much as I am! Yes I found that really interesting too - that when you look after yourself in this part of your cycle, it helps for the next part of your cycle. So follicular helps ovulation and luteal phase, luteal helps menstruation and follicular etc. I was trying to be really healthy rather than give into my sweet cravings during this TWW but now I’ve got this cold i’m not sure how long that will last 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

Is anyone else due AF this weekend? I'm due on Sunday and can't decide when to test. Meant to be meeting a friend on Thursday eve so I might test first thing tomorrow or Thurs morning so at least if I'm out I can have a guilt free glass of wine!

Anyone worried about cramping...with my first baby I had the worst period pain before a BFP, so bad I got my GP to do me a repeat prescription of mefenamic acid, was sure I was about to have the worst period. Apparently it's quite normal and is just everything "stretching" to accommodate the embryo.

Yeah they are staying until next Monday! So unless ovulation comes really late there's going to have to be some sort of action occuring at least once or twice!! 😅
It's amazing how the body works! I'm sure looking after yourself allows for a little treat here and there though as well 😃

You’ll have to just be extra efficient 😂 if my mum knew it was my fertile period I think she’d go home and tell me to get on with it 😅

That’s true, hopefully all the little tips on the podcast help us🤞 I also joined the podcast’s facebook group but I think it’s made me worry about things unnecessarily so I might come off of it!

1 dpo for me today,
3rd night of no sleep due to my girl still having the sickness bug. So I think I’m out this month as only Dtd 2 days before my peak 😭

curliegirlie · 28/01/2025 10:53

@Room4onemore there's always a chance....as that's still well within your fertile window.

I know I was an utter gloom merchant this cycle after only having managed the same DTD slot, but I'm ancient with 38 cycles behind me, so chances are always gonna be low for me. I yours will come good 😊

carolinep3 · 28/01/2025 11:10

I think I'm 1DPO today too but will have to wait a few days for temp to confirm. Don't know if I have the energy to dtd again tonight 😩 last few days feel like they taking a toll with so much information and worry about everything!

I literally have no idea whats going on with me this month lol. So writing it off and just enjoying that we and DH have had a good month of minimal arguing at a very stressful time!

LH strips should a near peak when i assume i would ovulate but no EWCM. Then it didnt fully peak. But now EWCM and no peak. So leaving this one to god and fate so i dont sit there stressing every single symptom!

Yes i’m due on Saturday! I’ll probably test on Thursday as i’ll be 10DPO then so i’ll be in with a chance (although small!) of something showing up. Maybe you could test Thursday first thing?

Good to hear about your experiences with cramping!

Best to just relax, worrying and stressing over every little sign and symptom can be tiresome! If you wanted to get a better picture you could just do bbt next month to confirm ovulation?
BBT and bloods are the only real way to confirm anyway 🤷🏻‍♀️

Im trying to errr away from BBT as in 2024 i became obsessive.

Relying on sticks and EWCM as EWCM has always been accurate for me when it comes to conceiving. Its getting them to stick is the usual issue

Now hubby has ED grrrr

Our regiment is OPK and EWCM for ovulation. Relying on AI too and preseed. Once BFP we have aspirin, progesterone and heparin to prevent loss

It's really great most seem to be in their TWW. I've got my fingers crossed for all of you ❤️

I'm only CD8 this month is dragging 😂

Got my static smiley on clear blue this morning and these are my Premom ones. Looks like I might ovulate today or tomorrow?

Yes!!😍

carolinep3 · 28/01/2025 12:18

@DaringlyDizzy have you tried raspberry leaf tea at all for uterus health?
I took it daily when I have my previous children. My fertility women thinks I'm having trouble getting them to stay implanted too, I've been drinking it again this cycle.
Also started taking some women's health probiotics 🤷🏻‍♀️
Just an idea, and it tastes nice 😊
