Hi all ☺️ I am now starting Cycle 6 TTC baby number one. I know some of us on January thread said it would be good to set up a Feb thread so thought i’d start it.

I should be ovulating around 17-18th so will be testing on 1st Feb!

Oh I didn’t realise the numbers were that out. Yours are 1000% positive - crazy that it registered as a 0.2 🤯.

Hi I just wanted to get some help on my test results have I missed my window as we DTD this morning couldnt last night as my partner was tired. we also did on CD 7 8 9 10.

It seems like you DTD on peaktime, it's when you're the most fertile 😍

Lois like you will probably ovulate today. D2d again today for a better chance of catching the egg.

Evening everyone,
Went to work this morning, only to have a breakdown and got sent home. Spent all day crying, sleeping, then more crying. Picked myself up at about 5pm, had a bath, then had an everything shave in the shower, did some skincare and just took the day to myself. Feel a little better now. Really needed today to collect myself and to gather my feelings. Just want to bury it now and move on. Obviously still hard, but can't let it bring me down. Hope everyone's okay 💕

evening all, has anyone used/ or is using seven seas trying for a baby vitamins? Has it effected your cycle at all? Xx

I have been doing ovulation strips and they are very faint at the moment but I had ewm today.
Natural cycles says I should be ovulating this weekend/Monday, bit of a weird one but I have my smear booked in for Thursday.
I kept putting it back because it either landed in my TWW or on my period, but do you think I'm ok to still go this Thursday?

Hi everyone joining this thread Ttc #2. Cycle 2. CD 15 and got this both this morning and evening it’s slightly darker. Have DTD alternate days since Thurs and plan to continue until Friday. Would you just keep testing until they get faint again?

@tia22 I would go! It's only in the cervix so wouldn't affect implantation if you were to ovulate early. Potentially just wait until after to dtd that day 😅

Yes I would. I got a peak yesterday and have kept testing today and my peak still hasn't gone down so I know I probably haven't ovulated yet.

Thanks that makes sense now. There is so much understand with this. My first month of properly tracking and it’s a minefield

i have.m, i alternate between them and pregnacare max but haven’t noticed a difference much other than my cycles are slightly shorter by a day x

Just sharing incase it helps anyone else.
I've had bloods done by GP, everything came back normal. But I sent results to my fertility expert and she said my ferritin level is low, the nhs class it as normal but it is low for someone wanting to get pregnant and it can cause infertility. It is all to do with iron apparently. I wouldn't say I have any signs of iron deficiency so I'm surprised!

So many GPs seem to be unaware that acceptable levels of some things for pregnancy can be different to normal levels for the normal population. TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) is another case in point. The number of times I've read about GPs who seem to be merrily ignorant that THS should be under 2 not under 4 for women TRC/during pregnancy....🙄

@Kateb149 no sign of af this morning which is surprising considering the cramps ive been having through the night and this morning, took me a while to get out of bed as expected to see it and didn’t want to face it but nope, defo feels like it’s coming but not even a hint when I wipe, I must have ovulated late, also not even a squinter on a p test, will wait the day out and if no arrival il grab some more tests xx

I had something similar, my folate was low 3.9, threshold was 4, so marginally under, it wasn’t until yesterday I spoke to a different doctor he said that is low for someone trying to get pregnant and prescribed me 5mg folic acid, baring in mind I had these bloods done about 2 months ago now! They know my history of miscarriages and that I’ve been trying to conceive since our mmc in June 2023, some of these doctors need to realise not one size fits all! Xx

Ah i’m so pleased AF hasn’t arrived for you, that’s good news🤞 so strange about the cramping though! Would you usually get cramping that bad before AF?

I’ve woken up with a rotten cold this morning and i’m starving hungry. My stepson was really ill last week so it was inevitable I was going to catch it but it still caught me by surprise. Hoping this doesn’t affect anything if an egg has implanted. 8DPO today so I will probably test tomorrow just to see! Xx

No not like this, not getting my hopes up but last time this happened I was indeed pregnant (our mmc, baby’s heart stopped at 12 weeks) I’m going to be on edge all day just expecting it to arrive, I have also woken up super hungry, boobs still sore, I’m in 2 minds as I’m just expecting it to arrive but I feel like possibly a bit of hope, also my lovely midwife/nurse just called me who dealt with everything back then about booking in my blood test, she said wait until tomorrow morning to do a test see if I get a positive if it is she will book me in for a scan at 6 weeks, getting a bit ahead of myself there, this day is going to feel long, then I’m also thinking well I know I ovulated late so it’s inevitable that my period will be late, hope you start to feel better soon, there’s lots going around atm isn’t there, I don’t think it would affect anything regarding implantation etc xx

I think the cramping without AF is definitely a good sign, but I know it must be so hard when you’ve had a MC to be hopeful ❤️
That’s really nice that the nurse has called and said she’ll do an early scan if it’s positive. Are you going to test tomorrow with FMU?

She’s really lovely, yes I have no tests now anyway so will have to grab some today if doesn’t arrive, just really feel like it’s coming, don’t want to get my hopes up xx
