Hi all ☺️ I am now starting Cycle 6 TTC baby number one. I know some of us on January thread said it would be good to set up a Feb thread so thought i’d start it.

I should be ovulating around 17-18th so will be testing on 1st Feb!

@ttcjourney20001 I'm sorry you're feeling this worry!🥹 Keep in mind that diluted urine during the day can affect the result of a pregnancy test, especially when you're this early on. The fact that you're not bleeding is a good sign! Test again tomorrow morning for reassurance ❤️

I had a MMC in December 23, we've been trying for three years (been together for 5) and the only time I've been pregnant I've lost it, now we've conceived again, I'm terrified. I'm only 23 and I've already had 3 years of pain, honestly don't know what I'd do if this fails too. Starting to lose hope xxx

@Lcc5261 I have no idea, my cycles are really different, some it's 34, then 27, then 29, then 23. So I have no idea when I actually ovulate xxx

@ttcjourney20001 Oh I'm so sorry for everything you've been thru ❤️‍🩹 It's so much for anyone to bear. I'm sending you all the hope and love for this little one to stick. Take it one day at a time. We're all here for you, and rooting for you🥰

Thank you so much, trying not to worry to much. No bleeding or constant cramping, but it could happen at any time, you know?
I'm glad I can come on here and express how I'm feeling, because a lot of us are in the same boat. I feel understood and made to feel like my feelings are valid. Just praying everything's okay xx🫶🏼

They are really interesting to listen to aren’t they! I have made changes since the start of Jan in terms of my diet, bedtime routine etc. and hoping it all helps a little bit 🤞

There’s one on coping in the TWW which helped me survive today 😂

Glad it's helping! I'm guessing it's mostly straightforward stuff like eating healthily etc? I thought the point about iron was good though and making sure we are getting enough of that

Sunshine924 · 26/01/2025 19:41

@ttcjourney20001 I'm sorry that sounds so tough can understand you are anxious ♥️ we are all rooting for you x

BerrieSweet · 26/01/2025 19:42

@ttcjourney20001 I really think the test was negative because of diluted urine now when you pee so often. No bleeding and no cramping is good signs🤞🏼 All your feelings are so valid❤️ We're the same age! Born 2001 :)

Thank you so much. I just feel like a blithering mess at the moment. So anxious and worried but can't stress myself out too much because it'll make the whole thing worse. Trying to keep calm xxx

Ah I see, maybe just early days then and just needs time to develop. No bleeding or cramps has got to be a good sign! Xx

carolinep3 · 26/01/2025 19:44

Sorry that sounds so tough, I know it must be tough not to worry
Maybe see if you can get another digital and test with FMU in a few days 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm trying not to test again, if somethings wrong then my body will let me know. Until then, I think I'm just going to go about my day normally. It'll be hard, but I don't wanna stress myself or my partner out. Oh yay, I'm an April baby myself, but my partners is in October so he feels happy that if the baby sticks they'll have close birthdays 😜xxx

Honestly, I think I'm too scared to test again because I think I'd have some sort of breakdown, I did read online to hold off testing if your wee is light yellow, when I tested my wee was really dark yellow, but I get too carried away and test anyway. It's a toxic cycle xxx

carolinep3 · 26/01/2025 19:49

I'm one of these people who always try avoid testing early. My thinking is that not testing I still have hope and can feel positive.
Testing can go one of two ways - happy and joy or sad and upsetting. I would rather stay hopeful!

AlbatrossSociety · 26/01/2025 19:53

@ttcjourney20001 I did this when I was pregnant with my daughter and got a negative test in the middle of the day, I can't even remember why. Everything was all fine and carried on with a happy healthy pregnancy and she's a happy healthy 2 year old. I threw away all my pregnancy tests after that 😅. Everything crossed for you and sending love xxx

Thank you for giving me this hope. I've been feeling doom and gloom all day and in a really bad headspace. Reading that has given me a sense of reassurance. I hope this little one sticks xxx

This is what my boyfriend Jack told me, he said stop testing and just enjoy it, if something happens it happens. He told me to enjoy it whilst I can

Yeah mostly straightforward ☺️ just focusing on getting enough fruit, veg and protein. And apparently we need 300 more calories in luteal phase? I have been taking a 20mg Iron supplement for about a month and a half now because i’ve been anaemic before and found I have a lot more energy! So i’d definitely recommend it if you don’t feel like you can get it from your diet alone x

I try to remind myself that when we worry we only suffer twice, it doesn't help anything. Don't steal tomorrow's grief. It's easier said than done though, especially when it's something that's so so important to you.

I'm feeling a bit confused as I had EWCM on Friday but have had nothing since. Usually I get it for 3-4 days 🤔. Anyone got any insight? Does it vary with cycles? Don't feel like I've been off contraception long enough to know

justbelieve · 26/01/2025 21:48

Hi everyone, I’ve come over from the January thread as AF arrived this morning. This will be my fourth cycle TTC #2.

Goals for this cycle are to drink way more water (been reading online that you’re supposed to drink 35ml for every KG of body weight and sometimes I barely hit a litre per day 🫣, so I wonder if that’s why my EWCM is almost non existent), and to eat more fruit and vegetables as I’m pretty poor at that too!

AlbatrossSociety · 26/01/2025 22:49

Welcome @justbelieve , how old is your first?

Funny you say that as I've been absolutely chugging water today as I haven't had as much EWCM this cycle as usual 😂. I'm also trying to eat fruit and veg whenever I serve them to my daughter as I'm much better at serving them to her than to myself.

carolinep3 · 26/01/2025 22:51

I've been drinking 2l of water everyday this cycle to try and improve ewcm, informally it hasn't worked 😩

Ahhh, I'd be lying if I said I didn't over optimistically pick up a few cute bits in the sales over the past 3 years 😢. Never expected that it would actually never happen...,

I've got a couple of bits stashed that I bought beginning of the month from the Boots sale. I also have a pram stored (although I had just found out that I had MC but bought it anyway as it was such a good deal) can always donate it if I don't end up using it

Jen329 · 27/01/2025 05:52

Joining if that’s ok! Cycle 4, day 6 after a MMC. Going to try to do more LH testing this month to figure out cycle as it’s got shorter after the MMC (26-28 days rather than always 31). Although I’ve been doing more exercise so maybe that’s affecting things too. Hope everyone is doing ok x

BerrieSweet · 27/01/2025 06:15

Peak day!! Solid smiley😍 I was sad yesterday that I didn't know why I hadn't got my peak yet, but due to stress at work it was delayed I'm pretty sure. I got so happy I woke my DH up 😂 We DTD yesterday and will continue today and tomorrow🤞🏼
