Hi all ☺️ I am now starting Cycle 6 TTC baby number one. I know some of us on January thread said it would be good to set up a Feb thread so thought i’d start it.

I should be ovulating around 17-18th so will be testing on 1st Feb!

Morning everyone, just looking for some advice please😊 Iv added two photos the blue ovulation test was on CD16 and the green is today CD22. Would you say either of these are positive? This is my first cycle trying and I’m a bit confused about the ovulation tests. Thank you in advance! Xx

Why so far apart? You need to test daily really. Maybe the second one but they don't appear to be a good test brand?

Should have added I have been testing each day but these were my two with the darkest lines. They are both tests from Boots, what test brand would you recommend? X

I like the easy@home brand they give me quite definite lines. I've tried to attach a photo

Hi guys has my ovulation been messed up i had my period on the 14th till the 18th. on a 25 day cycle then on Tuesday started cramping with light bleeding BD on CD7 8 9 10 but now heavy bleeding like period had to put on a PAD i did start taking supplements on monday.

We’ve definitely had the same experiences 😂 laughing most of the way through because we’re just doing it to TTC. At least you’re laughing about it and not getting stressed!

It’s so hard to say but I agree the later one might look darker? If you use the easy @ home test strips from amazon you can upload a photo on the Premom app which keeps a record of your strips and tells you when you get your darkest line. So i’d agree with @carolinep3 and definitely recommend those ☺️ good luck!

Hmm that seems really odd! Which supplements have you started taking? I think the Pregnacare ones can mess up cycles?
I’d keep track of your bleeding and see how long it lasts for. Do you usually have 25 day cycles?

@Kateb149yes its normally 25days i thought it was ovulation cramping at first as on premom it says im in my fertile window but then im bleeding but when wiping. Today after DTD i bled abit heavy. i have never had bleeding like this its some fertility drops that have Red raspberry and nettle and another one has Lady’s Mantle, Damiana in it.

Thank you I will give those a try next month if needed. my cycles are usually around 26-27 days long so I don’t think those ovulation tests are the most reliable as I’m CD22 today! Also feeling like AF is on the way 😩xx

Hi all! Have fallen off the thread lately, but how magical to come back and see some positive tests! Congratulations!!

I should be ovulating Monday I think? I don't do temps or opks or anything, just tracking CM. So can't contribute anything useful to those conversations! Partner is away Saturday and Sunday so trying not to worry about that and just do what we can when we can!

@Annie2288 have you ever bled after sex at all before? Is it bright red blood or more like a period? Do you have any doctor or nurse friends you can ask?

Sorry I can’t offer much advice, they say you can get bleeding around ovulation time but if it’s not normal for you and it carries on I would get booked in with the doctors x

Sorry I don't know anything about bleeding before ovulation really as all
My research has been about spotting afterwards.
I would say it is unlikely to be the raspberry leaf though, I take raspberry leaf tea as it is supposed to strengthen your uterus.

@AlbatrossSociety Right now its not flowing like one only wiping but i had to change a pad this morning after DTD i got to work and had a big gush like a period then now just wiping its there but pink. i supposed to be on CD10 but now its all confusing.

thats what happens when im wiping or it will get red like period blood

@Annie2288 Hmm that's so confusing! I would probably try and get in with the GP I think? I had random bleeding for a month or so after I got the coil out but not since. Always better to be cautious with these things, I feel like it's highly likely to be nothing but still work getting checked especially with the cramping as well.

@BerrieSweet this will no doubt be us this month as my days are very likely to fall when the in-laws are staying for a week... Really not the right time but needs must! Will just have to work out how to be entirely silent at the same time 😅 I asked DH if we should just assume this month it's unlikely to happen but he said absolutely not (despite it being his parents in the room next door!! 😅)

We had this in December! He had the flu and then we were away with my family through the fertile window. We did not conceive but I think that was flu related as we did try once he was better! Think we just missed the timings.

The thing we're mainly struggling with is trying to find time with a toddler in the house who doesn't nap anymore and also goes to bed quite late!! It has been a challenge to say the least. Also I don't know how to say this delicately but it can take quite a while for the actual part of BD that makes a baby to happen in this household, sometimes I wish we could just sneak in a quickie!! So funny because it's a big positive in my mind most of the time as the orgasm gap is very far in my favour, but for now I'm just like come on, let's get the job done while we have a chance 😳

@Sunshine924 Hahah😂 I know this sounds very funny and icky but we've figured out that the times it needs to be done quietly, he can wear boxers while BD, It's not as nice but It's soundproof 😂 hahaha

Ahahaha you had me there!!! Same situation, the extended attention is usually nice but now im like COME ON ALREADY!!!! In the literal sense lol

You have to laugh don’t you 😅 my DH’s two children live with us and they love coming in the bedroom without knocking so that’s always fun 😂 the romance is well and truly gone from TTC!

@AlbatrossSociety Why is the fertile window always at the most busy times! 😂 I don't know how it is to have a toddler but I can only imagine the BDing is hard to squeeze in, especially if it takes a bit of time even if its usually a very nice thing for women😅

@Kateb149 Hahahahha 😂 I realize I have it quite easy in the aspect of not having kids while TTC and BD 😅
