TTC in 2025!

Hi everyone, thought I’d make my first thread here to see if there’s anyone else planning to conceive in 2025? 🥰 I’m feeling so excited but also a little nervous as I have a cyst on my ovary. It doesn’t cause me any pain or symptoms but it’s being referred to as a suspected endometrioma so that causes me some anxiety! The gynaecologist told me I won’t know if it affects fertility until I try and he isn’t too worried. However that doesn’t stop my nerves! I really hope 2025 will be the year, I feel so ready to be a mum now. 🥹

My fiancé and I are planning to start TTC in April! Just started on my folic acid/vitamin d tablets and it’s starting to feel very real! Eek 🥰❤️ Anyone else in a similar position? I’d love to know any tips on how to best prepare my body in advance and any tips for my other half too!

@LeafCorner hi, thanks for the welcome. We started last month. My DD will be 3 in July and she says she wants a brother 🤣 I'm trying not to get too stressed about it

I’m curious as to when AF will arrive this month. Last time it was earlier than normal coming on day 25 meaning my cycle was only 24 days long. I’m on day 25 now so wondering if it will make an appearance today! I’m hoping it holds off until Tuesday as I’m going to Alton Towers on Monday! 😂 Decided to squeeze in a theme park trip before we start trying in May. 😄

@EmChaI think we are almost cycle synced! My last cycle was 25 days too, I'm on CD22 at the moment which means fertile week should fall over the Easter weekend. Hoping that's going to make our first month trying a bit easier with lots of opportunities! Looking forward to finally getting going after months of waiting.

@Wiggleyfingersi’m CD24! Think about 6DPO. And negative test this morning. Although I went back an hour later and found an evap line. 🙃

Ooooh I hate evap lines! 6DPO is super early, although I got a vvvfp at 8DPO with both my pregnancies on internet cheapies, so you never know! Please share the pictures when the time comes, I love a good squinter 😍😊

@Wiggleyfingersi’ll probably test everyday until Friday now so will be doing plenty of squinting. 😂

My period is due today and so far hasn't arrived. Please spread some baby dust for me. I'm going to wait another 2 days to test.

@TTCFC91that is some serious strength not to test! I’ve been testing since 5DPO. 😂😂

8DPO today and still negative. I would have thought clearblue 6 days early would show by now.

Well my period held off for me so I could have one last trip to Alton Towers yesterday before we start trying. I was relived it didn’t come or I’d have been running to the loo every few hours! 😂 It’s due any day now and I can tell it’s coming. Can’t believe we are finally in April!! Technically I could start trying now and we are in the ‘safe zone’ for the best maternity leave but I think we will try hold off until May. It’s a really busy month anyway as my partner is running the London marathon.

I ended up testing 😅 It was negative but still no period so trying to hold strong before testing again

How many DPO are you now?
I've been offered a promotion at work, it's something I've been working towards but the role won't start until September. I will only be doing it for a few months before going off on maternity leave which is a boy awkward! I am already dreading telling my employers.

No idea because I don't know when I ovulated. Still no period.

Hi all, we have recently started trying, this is my first proper month tracking ovulation etc. I got a solid smiley on a clear blue ovulation test yesterday morning. I’m early 30s ttc for the first time. It feels exciting to be on this journey but I’m also really nervous. I hope everyone gets their much wanted babies ❤️

I’m 5 DPO. Anyone else on similar? This 2WW is a lot easier than last month. I’ve decided to take it easy and not think about it too much because it definitely consumed me last month.

I’m not far away on CD 4 ! going to try not to obsess as much as I did last cycle… but I did just pick up some vitamins & a clear blue ovulation test 🤭 x

Hi @lauraxoxo. I was waaay too obsessed last month. Going to also take it a bit easier this cycle.

It was my first month I had bought a box of cheap tests so I ended up doing them daily which was just ridiculous! I have a few left, but having them in the house just makes it too tempting .. il try and wait til at least 10dpo this cycle 🙈
