TTC in 2025!

Hi everyone, thought I’d make my first thread here to see if there’s anyone else planning to conceive in 2025? 🥰 I’m feeling so excited but also a little nervous as I have a cyst on my ovary. It doesn’t cause me any pain or symptoms but it’s being referred to as a suspected endometrioma so that causes me some anxiety! The gynaecologist told me I won’t know if it affects fertility until I try and he isn’t too worried. However that doesn’t stop my nerves! I really hope 2025 will be the year, I feel so ready to be a mum now. 🥹

My fiancé and I are planning to start TTC in April! Just started on my folic acid/vitamin d tablets and it’s starting to feel very real! Eek 🥰❤️ Anyone else in a similar position? I’d love to know any tips on how to best prepare my body in advance and any tips for my other half too!

@Furbsies ok, at least there's a plan in place. If you get your period will you try again next month?

Tbh I've not thought about that yet. I'm on holiday from 8th Jan to 20th Jan in another continent. Unsure what I'm doing next for now I'm gna let it go and see where it takes me.

I've had chemicals before and I'm in the middle of should I go through that again or just wait when we are ready for a frozen cycle with our frozen embryos so I'm just letting it go until after my holiday...

@Furbsies I think that sounds like a great idea. Try and put all of this to one side and just enjoy your holiday. Eat and drink and relax. See how you're feeling when you come home x

Hi! I’m okay thank you. Still trying, now on month 10. Not tracking at all this cycle as I get too obsessed and upset. Pretty sure I’m in my fertile window though 🤣

@EmCha taking a break from tracking is no harm every now and then. It's good to give yourself a mental break.

@SureLook - I was thinking of you the other week - spring is not far away at all! How are you feeling? Are you all prepared?

@EmCha a break sounds like a good idea for sure - it ends up consuming you and having the opposite effect I think.

I actually happened to have a positive test last week - I also stopped tracking, stopped prenatals and everything else. Went about my life and here we are 5weeks

@Popping13 I'm getting tired and I've got PGP which isn't fun. I'm just trying to rest where I can. I'm prepared in the sense that I have everything from my DD but it's all in the attic 😂

Just wanted to pop on to say hello as I know a lot of you won’t be in the 2026 thread! Hope you’re all doing well! 🩷

Sadly I’m still no closer to a positive and feeling like I was right all those months ago when I said I didn’t think I’d ever get pregnant. 💔 Onto month 12 now, dreading passing it as I’m then officially in the infertile category. Our fertility referral was sent off today so hopefully I can get a HSG done soon. Wish it was a happier update from me but here we are!

@EmCha so lovely to hear from you. Thanks for coming back and updating us. I'm sorry to hear you still haven't had your BFP yet. That's great that you've sent off your referral. Is that private or through the NHS?
