TTC in 2025!

Hi everyone, thought I’d make my first thread here to see if there’s anyone else planning to conceive in 2025? 🥰 I’m feeling so excited but also a little nervous as I have a cyst on my ovary. It doesn’t cause me any pain or symptoms but it’s being referred to as a suspected endometrioma so that causes me some anxiety! The gynaecologist told me I won’t know if it affects fertility until I try and he isn’t too worried. However that doesn’t stop my nerves! I really hope 2025 will be the year, I feel so ready to be a mum now. 🥹

My fiancé and I are planning to start TTC in April! Just started on my folic acid/vitamin d tablets and it’s starting to feel very real! Eek 🥰❤️ Anyone else in a similar position? I’d love to know any tips on how to best prepare my body in advance and any tips for my other half too!

@Roxanna2000 I think I ovulated around 14th/15th March so 9/10dpo and I'm due AF on the 28th. I've tested positive before on 11 and 12dpo so I may test tomorrow. Even though I said I'd hold out until the 25th 🙃 when will you start to test?

I have alot of egg white cervical today. Some of it was brown. I am very gassy, have extremely tender breasts and fatigued. I am CD 18. Could this be a sign of ovulation ? Implantation?

@TTCFC91 EWCM is usually a sign ovulation is on the way. Brown is usually old blood. My implantation bleeding was a light red/pale pink colour. Did you track ovulation this month?

I'm tracking with clear blue ovulation sticks. I've had a flashing smile since CD 8, I am currently on CD 18. Last month it changed to solid smile on CD 18. I DTD on CD 8,10,12,14 and 16 this month.

BFN this morning but trying not to feel disheartened!

I got my positive LH this morning which means my period would be due after our wedding and trip so think we are going to give it a go this month.. already nervous for any disappointment!!

@SureLook its so hard, has your cycle called back into its normal pattern post MC?

@KT199 that timing worked out well for you!

Yeah, it has settled back thankfully. I passed some myself before the D&C and I got my period four weeks after I passed some so I think it reset then. I've always been fairly regular. There's still time I suppose!

Yeah I’m quite shocked I expected my positive LH test last week if it had followed my pre MC cycle! My ovulation seems a little delayed, but the cycle we conceived my ovulation was also delayed and I got a positive LH on the same CD as this month.. so maybe it’s a new pattern I’m not completely sure but I’ll take it to avoid AF whilst away!!

AHH, that’s so good. My worry is it not getting back to normal, but I am weirdly much more relaxed about it than I ever was pre MC and I think that’s because I’ve learnt to deal with the fact I’m not in control of what’s going on in there as a result!

That’s a really good way of looking at it @KT199. I get so super stressed and anxious about everything. I was panicking my ovulation would be delayed. It was - I got my peak on CD 17 which is late for me. I’m sure the panic and worry didn’t help…

@KT199 maybe this will be your new pattern going forward. I'm glad you'll be able to fully enjoy your wedding now.

Haha, I'm the opposite! I was very chilled and relaxed and didn't test until period was late or implantation bleeding appeared. Now I'm anxious and obsessed 😂 but you're right. We aren't in control so we should try to relax as much as possible.

@Roxanna2000 awh don’t worry I am easily stressed and worried too!! And I also worry about the impact of the worry 😅 it’s a vicious cycle!

@SureLook I think once maybe we’re completely back in the TTC if this cycle doesn’t work, which I’m fully expecting, I might go back to my old ways 😅. Hopefully we don’t have many more cycles of having to endure the testing / waiting!! Did it take you long to conceive initially?

@KT199 the waiting is a killer! No I conceived on the first try for both my DD and the MMC. I was very lucky. Which I think is what is making me stress out even more cause I'm comparing 🙈

@KT199spot on! I do have anxiety generally and given my history of miscarriages the whole TTC process is just so stressful. And yes… then I worry I’ve damaged my egg or something by stressing. 100%. Vicious cycle. 😂 But I suppose CD17 is still within the “normal” range.

@SureLook you’re not out yet, let’s see! Fingers crossed!

Definitely out for this month. AF arrived on Tuesday a few hours after I tested. I thought it might have been implantation bleeding at first but over the course of the day I realised it wasn't. It was also three days early which is unusual for me. I felt very upset as it was a stark reminder that I'm no longer pregnant after my MMC.

ahh I’m sorry @SureLook. I hate testing only to find my period comes hours later!! Those negative tests, especially after miscarriage, are so upsetting. I understand how you’re feeling. Hopefully this next cycle is the one for you. 🤞🏻

Ah sorry to hear @SureLook! I don’t doubt I’ll be in the same position in a few weeks but hopefully we get some luck soon! 🤞

Really sorry @SureLook it’s so disappointing isn’t it. I allowed myself to mope around for a couple of days and it helped. Now i feel excited again. I had said i wasn’t going to track anything, but I’ve changed my mind and will track ovulation again this cycle. I’m also giving BBT a go. Rooting for us for the next cycle!

Thanks @LeafCorner I moped around as well but I feel better now. Onto the next! O didn't track this cycle but I think I will next cycle cause I must have ovulated early! Fingers crossed 🤞🏻
