TTC in 2025!

Hi everyone, thought I’d make my first thread here to see if there’s anyone else planning to conceive in 2025? 🥰 I’m feeling so excited but also a little nervous as I have a cyst on my ovary. It doesn’t cause me any pain or symptoms but it’s being referred to as a suspected endometrioma so that causes me some anxiety! The gynaecologist told me I won’t know if it affects fertility until I try and he isn’t too worried. However that doesn’t stop my nerves! I really hope 2025 will be the year, I feel so ready to be a mum now. 🥹

My fiancé and I are planning to start TTC in April! Just started on my folic acid/vitamin d tablets and it’s starting to feel very real! Eek 🥰❤️ Anyone else in a similar position? I’d love to know any tips on how to best prepare my body in advance and any tips for my other half too!

I haven't started running. But my last cycle was 24 days too. I'm usually around 27. With the very occasional 25. So even for me this was very short. Any other ideas what causes shorter cycles? I get obvious ewcm and it reliably changes again and my period is always 14 days after. So I know my luteal phase is fine. Just curious what triggers such early ovulation??

So...I conceived in January and found out I had a missed miscarriage two days ago. Gutted and going to wait until I heal before trying again. Baby dust to everyone ✨

Hi ladies, I’m 11DPO so know it’s still early but have an awful habit of line eyes. Does anyone see a shadow on the bottom test or am I just crazy? 😂

Looks like my "100% period cramps" may have been implantation cramps 😁 got a faint positive yesterday morning and this morning, now I'm both terribly excited and also half believing that it's all in my head! Got a digital to take tomorrow, bit scared of taking it too early and wasting a tenner. Period due today/tomorrow so I'll feel a lot happier if I get through the weekend without it showing.

So much for implantation cramps a) being mild and b) lasting a few hours to a couple of days max.

Here's hoping this sticks...

@SureLook thank you! I'm absolutely knackered and have a slightly weird appetite so bizarrely I'm a bit reassured by those symptoms combined with the lines. Just trying not to plan too far ahead but it's impossible! I hope everyone else gets their line asap 😊

Yes, all good signs! Oh its completely impossible not to start imagining how things are going to be. How long have you been TTC for? Will this be your first? I'm sure you've said all of this already 🙈

Totally impossible! Only our third cycle trying, which has come as a massive (pleasant) surprise as we both have health issues that could affect TTC.

Will (would? Hopefully will!) be our first 😊

My bleeding is slowly dying down after my MMC. I go in Monday to get my blood HCG checked. Still heartbroken. I should have been going for NIPT screening right now 😢

That's good that the bleeding is slowing down @AmazeB I found out at my NIPT screening. It's hard thinking of all the dates and milestones. It will get easier x

So I've woken up to my period today. 25 day cycle!! That's the shortest cycle I've had in years, I'm usually between 28-31. Thankfully we weren't trying this month as I would have almost completely missed the fertile window.
For the last month I've been taking supplements and focusing on my diet, I wonder if that's had an impact.
Only one more period to go for me now, until we can officially begin ❤️

To be honest, nope! I joined the running club but didn’t really do anything else differently so I bet that’s why my period arrived early. It’s almost finished now so just telling myself I need to get this cycle out the way then it’s time to try! 😁

How is everyone doing? AF is due in 2 days and I did a test this morning and got a BFN. Feeling a little disappointed, but trying to remain hopeful until AF actually comes.

Hi @LeafCorner I'm due AF around the 28th so going to try hold off testing until 25th/26th. Easier said than done!
Sorry about your BFN but there's still hope until AF arrives 🤞🏻

I use clear blue advanced ovulation tests. I am currently on CD14. I have had flashing smiley faces (no solid yet) since March 13th, which was CD 8. I had sex on 13th,15th,17th and 19th of March. I got the solid smiley face on CD 18 last month. Do I have a good chance? Hoping for my rainbow baby.
