TTC in 2025!

Hi everyone, thought I’d make my first thread here to see if there’s anyone else planning to conceive in 2025? 🥰 I’m feeling so excited but also a little nervous as I have a cyst on my ovary. It doesn’t cause me any pain or symptoms but it’s being referred to as a suspected endometrioma so that causes me some anxiety! The gynaecologist told me I won’t know if it affects fertility until I try and he isn’t too worried. However that doesn’t stop my nerves! I really hope 2025 will be the year, I feel so ready to be a mum now. 🥹

My fiancé and I are planning to start TTC in April! Just started on my folic acid/vitamin d tablets and it’s starting to feel very real! Eek 🥰❤️ Anyone else in a similar position? I’d love to know any tips on how to best prepare my body in advance and any tips for my other half too!

Hi all. Coming back to post here.. After losing hope due to scans and bloods that it might never happen naturally for us (first was an ivf)
I decided 2026 I will not test LH or hcg unless I miss a period.. Tried to use up the left over strip.. And got a faint squinter

12dpo and here's my frer. I'm in hell because I know this isn't dark enough and my history of losses is making me lose sleep.

I just want to be calm and mentally relaxed this holiday season 😭

@Furbsies I'm sorry, that is quite light. What was the strip test like?

That was on 11dpo and was even more of a squinter than this. Really light. It was sooooo light that if I wasn't a serial tester I wouldn't even spot it.

@Furbsies I know. Sometimes early testing is the devil! Is there any chance you ovulated much later in your cycle than usual? Or implanted later?

I tested LH and my peak does put me at 12dpo today. I am also still breastfeeding
The only other thing that tells me something is different is my 2yo has been saying "mama it's not coming" about milk

@Furbsies my tests were very faint at 12dpo. I think I tend to implant later. So maybe there's a chance? Will you test again over the next few days or what are you thinking?

I think i will test next on 14dpo. I have started progesterone as that is what was advised for me. So I'm going to take this as positive until otherwise proven.

Do you always implant late.

I know for my Ivf cycles most of my eggs were day 6 so they always fertilised slower I guess? Who knows

@Furbsies yes, I tend to implant a bit later around 12dpo which I'm guessing from implantation bleeding.
Testing on 14dpo is a good idea cause you'll see a bit of line progression hopefully 🤞🏻

Yea. It's so hard resisting it but I know it's the best way to get an answer.. I'm not gona see proper progression today

@Furbsies definitely not. So is 14dpo tomorrow then?

I had what I think is a VFL this morning? Took two more cheapies today which were negative. Anyone this is a potential positive or just an evap line? Or my brain convincing me there is a line there!

Hey I'm not in the faint line is it real dept but I'm in the its so light is it gona become darker... My lines were too light for 11 and 12dpo and I'm just worried. Different boat of anxiety but still your neighbour

Hey. The top is today at 14dpo and bottom at 12dpo

There isn't enough progression but been told to continue with everything until It's negative

@Furbsies there's definitely progression there but it is still quite light. But any progression is still good!

I think I'm out. Today is day of mixed period and the digital came back not pregnant

@Furbsies the digital tests aren't as sensitive, usually. Has AF shown yet?

Hey no AF hasn't shown but that's because I'm on supplemental Progesterone. Due to loss history was told as soon as I get a positive I should be on it. In any case this mornings test was completely negative at 16dpo.

@Furbsies aww, I'm sorry to hear that. Would you class that as a chemical then? Do you come off the progesterone now and wait for AF?

Yes. This would be classed as chemical and yes I now come off progesterone and AF should show up within 3 to 5 days

Ah I'm sorry I thought I mentioned.

I have had 3 very early losses before, 4, 5 and 8 weeks and then went on to have ivf for my first child who is now 2

During that time i was told it I ever get pregnant naturally I need progesterone straight away.. They'd actually prescribed me it in advance.

Hence why I have that in place now.

Epu literally jsut called me and I'll be seeing them later today becuase my gp had referred me to the hospital for checking if the pregnancy is intrauterine before they prescribe more progesterone so. I'll find out for sure one way or another.

@Furbsies I'm sure you have told your story before. I probably just can't remember!

They couldn't rule anything out. But they said most likely I'll bleed in a couple days.

They couldn't even visualise my ovaries. So I'll be back in a week unless I have my period.
