TTC in 2025!

Hi everyone, thought I’d make my first thread here to see if there’s anyone else planning to conceive in 2025? 🥰 I’m feeling so excited but also a little nervous as I have a cyst on my ovary. It doesn’t cause me any pain or symptoms but it’s being referred to as a suspected endometrioma so that causes me some anxiety! The gynaecologist told me I won’t know if it affects fertility until I try and he isn’t too worried. However that doesn’t stop my nerves! I really hope 2025 will be the year, I feel so ready to be a mum now. 🥹

My fiancé and I are planning to start TTC in April! Just started on my folic acid/vitamin d tablets and it’s starting to feel very real! Eek 🥰❤️ Anyone else in a similar position? I’d love to know any tips on how to best prepare my body in advance and any tips for my other half too!

@DobryWieczor the 27th of April. They didn't change it as I was measuring the same as my LMP. What's your EDD?
Ah, I'm glad things are settling for you a bit. But work is so hard while pregnant isn't it 😴 we've asked to find out the gender from the NIPT and I cannot wait! I have no patience for this kind of thing. I need to know now 😂

@TTCFC91 maybe he's just doing it to be cautious. It'll probably be perfect the next time!

edited: sorry pressed send too soon. My EDD at scan and LMP were also the same. How are you feeling with it? I’ve a tiny bump now, bought maternity jeans but they are actually too big (yet normal jeans too small!). I haven’t put on any weight at all yet which I’m a little worried about but I suppose these things aren’t linear

Very intense twinging yesterday in a specific spot and then this morning I have a temp drop so potentially an implantation dip. 🤞🏼 Got a random runny nose too. My boobs are finally starting to hurt but feels different to my usual cycles. They usually hurt a few days after ovulation but I’m suspected 8DPO today (usually period comes at 12DPO) so much later to be starting with breast pain. Feeling hopeful but aware I could well be symptom spotting! It’s hard not to! 😂

@DobryWieczor lovely spring baby 🌸 I'm tired and bloated and nauseous. I didn't really have any nausea on my daughter or my other pregnancies so this is new to me! I was still in my normal jeans at 18 weeks with my daughter but that will absolutely not be the case this time 🥲
I didn't put on much weight the first time either. But then her stomach had very little fat and her legs were measuring two weeks ahead so they told me I needed to load up on carbs 😂 it was hard cause I had a reduced appetite but I managed it!

I think Monday as I’ll be 12DPO if I did ovulate on cd17. 😊

My temp has shot back up today! Eek I hope this is it and wasn’t some random fluke. 🤞🏼

Yes, I’m really hopeful! It was 36.63 today whereas yesterday it was 36.25. A huge difference! If it drops in my luteal phase then it would usually stay down for my period to start, doesn’t go back up. Will see if today brings any symptoms. 🤞🏼

@EmCha I've never done BBT so remind me. If it goes high and stays high around the time AF is due then you're most likely pregnant?

Yep that’s right. Your temp rises after ovulation and drops just before AF is due. Mine dropped yesterday on suspected 8DPO and is now back up high on 9DPO. Many women report a dip in their temp after implantation. It lines up perfectly with the twinges I felt the day before my temp drop so fingers tightly crossed. 🤞🏼

@SureLook sorry you’re feeling poorly! I found the symptoms so reassuring though, I freaked out slightly when they went

@DobryWieczor I'm the same, the symptoms are reassuring. I'm on progesterone as well and that mimics pregnancy symptoms. But apparently HCG is responsible for nausea and gagging and food aversions etc. So as rotten as it is, it is making me feel better 😂

Well yesterday was a weird one for me. Went shopping and felt spaced out and a bit dizzy with a headache. The lights were making me feel funny which they never do. Had to keep going outside for air. Not sure if I’m coming down with an illness or if it could be pregnancy related. Not long until I can test now.

@EmCha I hope it's pregnancy related. What's your BBT like today?

Still high but not as high as yesterday. However, I didn’t sleep well at all so not convinced it was very accurate anyway. x

I am currently 8DPO. This is cycle #3 TTC for our first. Hubby and I got married earlier this year. Caved this morning and took a test and I’m feeling somewhat hopeful? Trying not to get my hopes up too much in case it’s a nasty indent😱😱😱

Hey fellow ttc ladies!

My partner and I have been TTC for a year now, weve had 3 miscarriages within that time but still trying to remain hopeful that we will get our rainbow baby.

As someone who is now constantly symptom spotting and in the dreaded two week wait, what were some of your EARLIEST symptoms? Im talking days after conception not after ovulation 🙈 we've baby danced on my most fertile and peak days last week and today I feel so off. Nauseous/headaches/ weeing a lot more. Could this be a sign or am I just overthinking it???

@laurajane07 my earliest sign before anything else is tea tastes different but only for a few days. The both times it's happened has been about 5dpo. After that then I notice bloating, tiredness and gas 🙃 it could be a sign of pregnancy but it also could be a coincidence. I think we're hyper aware of every little thing in our bodies in the TWW.

@EmCha did you test??
