TTC in 2025!

Hi everyone, thought I’d make my first thread here to see if there’s anyone else planning to conceive in 2025? 🥰 I’m feeling so excited but also a little nervous as I have a cyst on my ovary. It doesn’t cause me any pain or symptoms but it’s being referred to as a suspected endometrioma so that causes me some anxiety! The gynaecologist told me I won’t know if it affects fertility until I try and he isn’t too worried. However that doesn’t stop my nerves! I really hope 2025 will be the year, I feel so ready to be a mum now. 🥹

My fiancé and I are planning to start TTC in April! Just started on my folic acid/vitamin d tablets and it’s starting to feel very real! Eek 🥰❤️ Anyone else in a similar position? I’d love to know any tips on how to best prepare my body in advance and any tips for my other half too!

I’ll test again in the morning just in case. I took a second one later in the morning and was staring at it hoping to see that second line but just not there. 😣

I took two more tests and it’s all super faint but definitely appears to be there.

Thank you! I don’t know 100% when I ovulated so it may have happened later than I think. I think I’m out but not confirmed until AF arrives I guess!

Congratulations @DobryWieczor !! That’s amazing! Where does that put your due date at roughly?

Oh gosh, sorry to hear about the covid @SureLook. I forget it’s still a thing. Glad you’ll have your scan soon. I’m 5+1 today. Trying to stay positive, but i underestimated the worry.

@LeafCorner thanks. That's what everyone had said. Hard to believe it's still knocking around and such a bad dose.
It's very hard not to worry! Do you have children already or have you had any losses? Sorry if you've already said.

@SureLook first one and no losses yet, but i’ve had family and friends experience losses, so knowing how common they are makes it a bit scary.

Do you mind me asking if you’ve thought about the future after your scan?

I have got to the point where I'm getting upset when friends tell me they're pregnant and I hate that I feel that way. I'm obviously happy for them but I'm sad that it's not me. My friend text me to tell me she's pregnant and I cried. Anyone else?

I totally understand this, a colleague who knows of my TTC struggles posts everyday at work about her baby (unborn at this point) I just wish she would have some compassion for us on the team with fertility issues (there’s 3 of us). I describe it as I’m happy for you but sad for me 🩷 feel those emotions, don’t bottle them up!

Yeah it's very hard when someone close to you or who you work with every day announces that they are pregnant. Just another sharp reminder that you aren't! It's shit.
