TTC in 2025!

Hi everyone, thought I’d make my first thread here to see if there’s anyone else planning to conceive in 2025? 🥰 I’m feeling so excited but also a little nervous as I have a cyst on my ovary. It doesn’t cause me any pain or symptoms but it’s being referred to as a suspected endometrioma so that causes me some anxiety! The gynaecologist told me I won’t know if it affects fertility until I try and he isn’t too worried. However that doesn’t stop my nerves! I really hope 2025 will be the year, I feel so ready to be a mum now. 🥹

My fiancé and I are planning to start TTC in April! Just started on my folic acid/vitamin d tablets and it’s starting to feel very real! Eek 🥰❤️ Anyone else in a similar position? I’d love to know any tips on how to best prepare my body in advance and any tips for my other half too!

I’ve been feeling some unusual twinges/cramps at one side quite low down. Not sure if it means anything! I’m (probably) 5dpo.

@EmCha I think the earliest you can implant is 6dpo so maybe it's the start of that 🤞🏻

Maybe! My boobs are really sore too but that doesn’t necessarily mean anything to me as they get bad before AF anyway. However, difference is this time it’s started much earlier. I think it would be very unlikely for us to be successful on our first try but I can hope! 🤞🏼

@EmCha you never know, fingers crossed!

Hi ladies, some news from me… the top one is from a few days ago at roughly 9 dpo and then at 16 dpo. I didn’t track ovulation this month. I can’t quite believe it and just praying the little bean sticks.

Hello all, may I join? 31, first cycle trying, just got married so in honeymoon bliss. Didn’t track ovulation this month as the apps were estimating it was right after my wedding, but on that basis I’m now 8 DPO. Given the booziness and all the upheaval (we went off on honeymoon to Asia pretty soon after and are still there) I would be extremely surprised if it happened this month, though obviously delighted.

SureLook · 16/06/2025 18:40

@DobryWieczor welcome and congratulations on the wedding!

So I’m 7dpo, boobs are soooo sore. Went for a run tonight and it was so painful! I feel like I have a heightened sense of smell at the moment too but it’s probably all in my head!! 😂

Thank you @EmCha @SureLook

very hard not to symptom spot at 9 DPO but I am getting a lot of aches that feel more like PMS than anything else so I suspect this isn’t my month

SureLook · 17/06/2025 08:13

Fingers crossed ladies!

Hey all, hope it’s okay to jump on!

I’ve taken a couple cheap tests at about 10DPO-11DPO. Both tests have got very very faint lines… I’ve used these cheapies for my last cycle and they showed no lines at all when I didn’t fall pregnant. The camera isn’t picking them up well.. I’ve had to try take a lot of pictures just to show but wondered if anyone’s tests looked like this at this point in cycle and ended up being pregnant? I don’t have any symptoms/cramps etc. I know the lines are Soooo faint but I promise there is something there 😂 let me know what you guys think!

thanks!

8DPO and started testing even though I knew it would be too early. Negative and feeling nervous. This TWW is hard!!

Welcome @SY2007 i think i can see lines in your second photo! I had a faint line on easy@home strips at 9dpo, but a very clear positive on first response. I would keep testing daily or get more sensitive tests if you’re able to and don’t want to wait.

Edited

It’s SO hard, my one saving grace is there are literally no pregnancy tests on this island, I couldn’t obtain one even if I wanted to. When I get back to the UK I should be 13 DPO according to the app, so a reasonable time to test if no period (though I think I typically ovulate a little later, like CD16 or 17, so might be out by a day or two).

@LeafCorner @EmCha thanks for your response! There are lines there for sure but I think they should be thicker than what I’m seeing 😕 just gives me a glimmer of hope as last month these same tests from the same batch were all stark white so seeing something this month has got me excited haha! Although my cervix still feels low opposed to high which isn’t too promising

@EmCha I found testing early hard cause it gave me hope that there was still a chance. Waiting for AF to show/be late is more definite. Decide what would be best for you!

So I think my question has been answered 🙉
