TTC in 2025!

Hi everyone, thought I’d make my first thread here to see if there’s anyone else planning to conceive in 2025? 🥰 I’m feeling so excited but also a little nervous as I have a cyst on my ovary. It doesn’t cause me any pain or symptoms but it’s being referred to as a suspected endometrioma so that causes me some anxiety! The gynaecologist told me I won’t know if it affects fertility until I try and he isn’t too worried. However that doesn’t stop my nerves! I really hope 2025 will be the year, I feel so ready to be a mum now. 🥹

My fiancé and I are planning to start TTC in April! Just started on my folic acid/vitamin d tablets and it’s starting to feel very real! Eek 🥰❤️ Anyone else in a similar position? I’d love to know any tips on how to best prepare my body in advance and any tips for my other half too!

Hi @EmCha I'm good thanks. I haven't had anymore spotting since Friday and my symptoms have ramped up. Exhausted and very very sore tender boobs. I'm hoping that's a good sign 🤞🏻

How are you? What stage of your cycle are you at now?

Hi, I’m so glad that the spotting has stopped. The increase in symptoms sounds like a good sign!

I’m on day 7. Will start using the ovulation tests from tomorrow as I’m not sure when to expect it this month with how late I was!

@EmCha thanks 😊 is AF over now? A lot of people start to test once AF is finished. No harm in case you get another random cycle again!

It’s just about finished yes, just spotting a bit now!

Also forgot to reply to your how are you question! I’m good thank you! Just excited to finally give this TTC a go. Nervous too though. It’s the not knowing if it’ll be an amazing journey or a very painful one. Only time will tell. 🤞🏼

Hi ladies, really happy to hear the spotting’s stopped @SureLook! I’m in the dreaded TWW at 5 DPO. This month has been a bit of a carefree month which has made it much easier to deal with. Hoping this is the month.

Good luck!! I’m on CD12 and just got a dark line on my OPK. Not sure if it’s quite positive yet but if it’s not then tomorrow’s test should be!

@EmCha I would say its nearly there so keep testing. And DTD today and tomorrow 🤞🏻

Sure. I’m just feeling really disheartened! Every other month I’ve tested, I’ve had a really obvious peak but the month it actually matters, I haven’t! I thought I was pretty close to it a few days ago but then when the test dried it looked no different to the other days. I had really obvious EWD and we have DTD a lot but it seems I haven’t actually ovulated as that peak just hasn’t shown on the test. Just taken one now and I’ll do another tonight but if it’s not there tonight I’m going to be really worried. 😥

I'm on CD 20. Lots of EWCM today. I'm not tracking with lh strips this month, my GP advised to stop for my mental health, they weren't working for me. Does EWCM mean I'm about to ovulate or I already have? I baby danced on CD 10,13,15,17,19 and 20😅😆 Should I continue doing the deed when I've lots of this EWCM today or could it mean I've already ovulated? I usually have a 26 day cycle. Thanks 💖

Hi girls. Unfortunately it was bad news at my scan again this morning. There was just an empty sac with no embryo or yolk sac. They've booked me in again for next week to confirm but I've rang my EPAU to see if I can come in to get the ball rolling on the inevitable a bit earlier. I'm feeling more pissed off at the moment then sad. Some slight comfort that at least there wasn't a poor little baby in there this time. It's still so shit though!

@EmCha don’t be disheartened. It could be that you just didn’t catch it on the strips. The good thing is you DTD a lot. Fingers crossed!

@TTCFC91 it normally happens before ovulation. I’ve read that it’s sometimes a sign of early pregnancy. Have you had any other symptoms?

Yes maybe! I have been drinking so much more water this month so maybe it’s just that my pee was so diluted it wasn’t picking it up as strongly. Hopefully I’ve ovulated. If I have I reckon it was the day after I posted in here with the dark test so possibly CD13.

We DTD again this morning so I guess time will tell if we’ve done enough. 😂 Interestingly, my boobs have started to hurt at the sides. I do get breast pain but this is early in my cycle for it to happen. 🤷‍♀️ I’m CD16 today.

According to my Flo app the last day of ovulation was the 7th. I was dry as a bone after that but yesterday I had really thick EWCM and then today nothing. Headache, fatigue and twinges in left side for the last few days. Could this mean something?! I know no one can tell me but I’m getting my hopes up!!

Period arrived today, CD 22. Doesn't usually appear until CD 26/27. Yrying to convince myself it's implantation blood, as it's light amd very early. Has anyone experienced implantation bleeding how did it feel?

I’ve never experienced it before but sounds like it could possibly be with how much earlier your ‘period’ has arrived. Fingers crossed for you!

Thanks @EmCha I've got a follow up scan in the EPAU next Thursday to confirm it all. Hopefully it'll all resolve quickly!
