Hi lovely ladies, just looking for some positive stories of going to CRP clinic ? My back story I have had a chemical then a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks ( baby stopped growing at 6 weeks) then another chemical. I went to CRP clinic three weeks ago and spent £3,300 on tests, everything came back normal apart from the Cytoxicity NK cells (activation of Nk Cells in pregnancy state) normal is below 20 percent and mine are at 26 percent. I suppose I’m just concerned is this really the reason for my 3 loses ?! I hope it is and that the treatment plan can be successful ! He’s put me on superovulation, infusion before ovulation then prednisone and infusion then test. Also taking viagra to help with the lining. I’m having this month off as partner is away so starting next month. I’m so worried about the steroids. Also I’m hoping he will be able to help with my lining. Does anyone know what he will do if my lining is thin on scan day? My last clinic I was at did nothing. No wonder it wasn’t successful. CRP seem great so far just expensive !!! Any comments and replies are so so welcomed

@BusyJadeBiscuitdoesnit whistle too? At night when there is no noise it is annoying! Have you told your doctor about it ? Are you on it for high count of NK cells or High activation? Thanks!

BusyJadeBiscuit · 03/04/2025 15:29

@CarpeDiem75 I don’t get whistling no. That sounds like you have tinnitus to be honest? And high count of nk cells

Have You heard of the trial in Warwick hospital about inflammation in the lining of the womb? I’m only asking as after reading about that I bought the antibiotics online and for me it worked. We had decided to give it a go before we went to dr s and after 4 recurrent miscarriages that’s what worked for us. All my other tests on nhs came back as normal. I have heard of a lot of women going to dr S and having their rainbow baby however. I’m just wondering too, do you get pregnant “easily”? we were “diagnosed” with hyper fertility- personally I belive it’s a load of crap and was just a way of saying we don’t know what’s wrong just keep trying and it’ll happen. I’m so sorry for your losses & wish you all the luck xx

Thank you for sharing with us.
May I ask what antibiotics have you taken?

I can’t answer that sorry as i didn’t have a scan. But what I can tell you is that if had 4 recurrent miscarriages before taking it. I personally think I had inflammation in the lining on my womb and those antibiotics cleared it and helped implantation. I got pregnant that month and it has been my only successful pregnancy I’ve got pregnant twice since and both ended in miscarriages and I hasn’t taken the antibiotics again, it did change my day of ovulation too from day 21 to day 15

Ladies, I hope you dont mind me saying this, and I'm as desperate as can be to have a successful pregnancy but I'd be wary of buying antibiotics in line to be honest.

Why? It was from Superdrug dr online- it’s a reputable company & proper pharmacy. I’m pretty sure you can get them from boots dr online too.

BusyJadeBiscuit · 07/04/2025 08:21

@Rainbowchaser87 how are you doing??

Rainbowchaser87 · 07/04/2025 13:18

@BusyJadeBiscuit hey darling…I have been better tbh! I had to abandon the cycle this month ‘cause my daughter got chickenpox and I never had it as a child, but I only had the vaccine as an adult.
so waiting for this April and hoping for May.
how are you doing? Xx

What are they prescribing them for? Did you have ALICE EMMA testing, or another test to diagnose the endometritis?

BusyJadeBiscuit · 08/04/2025 07:18

@Rainbowchaser87awh no that’s gutting, but what’s meant to be will be, and I’m doing well thank you, I can’t remember if I’ve ever had chickenpox tbh!!

Ahh I'm sure that's fine then. I was just being cautious about them coming from a random unknown place. That's great news.

All, my usual apologies for not keeping up very well with this thread. Ive just starting cycle 6 after my last Chemical. It is my third cycle taking pred from ovulation until AF arrives.. still not started any cyclogest since I am supposed to have that from a positive test. It's my 7th cycle on low dose aspirin though. That alone didnt do anything to help for my last Chemical.
I'm just wondering , for those on the hydroxy, what your NK cell count was. Mine was pretty high if I remember but the activation number wasnt too bad. Just wondering if I should be considered for using that too.

Rainbowchaser87 · 09/04/2025 23:09

@BusyJadeBiscuit thanks darling x where are u at this month? Xx

SWMum9 · 09/04/2025 23:09

Hello everyone, I’m new here. 3 MC, my third being a chemical this week. I’m being seen by Dr Shehatas team in the NHS. I have had blood tests done and also NK cell blood test and get the results in a couple of weeks.

Im feeling quite down and desperate. Can anyone give guidance on what to expect at the follow up after blood tests. If there is an imbalance or NK present can my treatment start quickly??

BusyJadeBiscuit · 10/04/2025 08:22

@SWMum9 hey lovely, so we had our results check up and then depending on what your results was depends what medication he puts you on but on your follow up he will give your the medication you need and start you on a protocol but everyone is different. I’ve gone private with dr Shehata so not through the NHS. Xxx

BusyJadeBiscuit · 10/04/2025 08:23
