Hi lovely ladies, just looking for some positive stories of going to CRP clinic ? My back story I have had a chemical then a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks ( baby stopped growing at 6 weeks) then another chemical. I went to CRP clinic three weeks ago and spent £3,300 on tests, everything came back normal apart from the Cytoxicity NK cells (activation of Nk Cells in pregnancy state) normal is below 20 percent and mine are at 26 percent. I suppose I’m just concerned is this really the reason for my 3 loses ?! I hope it is and that the treatment plan can be successful ! He’s put me on superovulation, infusion before ovulation then prednisone and infusion then test. Also taking viagra to help with the lining. I’m having this month off as partner is away so starting next month. I’m so worried about the steroids. Also I’m hoping he will be able to help with my lining. Does anyone know what he will do if my lining is thin on scan day? My last clinic I was at did nothing. No wonder it wasn’t successful. CRP seem great so far just expensive !!! Any comments and replies are so so welcomed

I’ve had another chemical pregnancy whilst waiting for my blood test result appointment. They said not to try during this time… but I didn’t want to do that. Should I tell them this at the appointment or not??

@SWMum9 I am sorry for your loss❤️ I think it’s better to tell them and give them the full picture always…It’s been ur choice to try and they cannot tell u off about it…U always have a choice and u shouldn’t feel wrong or guilty because u tried 🫂

Thank you. I had my follow up today. I have high NK cells and high activation.

Ive been put on hydroxychlorquine and when im ovulating prednisolone & progesterone pessary. Having a month off to let things build
up and then will start trying again 🤞🏻🤞🏻

All my other bloods came back good so feeling relieved that hopefully this will stop the cells being over active.

@SWMum9 good luck!! Same protocol as you and I am on my first cycle after the month off! A bit dreading starting prednisolone in a few days though and have side effects!!

@CarpeDiem75 How did you find the HCQ? Keeping everything crossed that it works well for you without side effects x

@SWMum9 so unfortunately didn’t go too welll with me and they have asked me stop it as I was complaining of blocked and ringing ear … so I will be just on prednisolone/progesterone and then later on if I conceive I will have heparin and aspirin (as they have never been cleared whether I have APS or not!)
I have been on everything else in my 2 previous pregnancies so only the prednisolone is new… so I am really worried as I couldn’t continue the HCQ😔

we had 3 losses until Dr S helped us with a beautiful, healthy boy! So absolutely believe in his protocols.
About to start round 2 with him so ready to jump on the crazy train once more: good luck to everyone!

just wondered if anyone has gotten ill in early pregnancy? I think I have had the flu or something , this won’t affect anything with the baby will it? I am so worried about it.

doctors gave me antibotics to take as a just incase kind of thing if I get worse but woke up feeling Abit better this morning and no high temp.

please reassure me 🤞🏼

I had a chest infection around 9-12 weeks. No worries at all :)

No we are IVF through Oxford which we started before CRP so just with Dr S for the complex protocol

@The1mum I didn’t take the antibotics as just don’t truly trust them and I felt better by the time I was given them, xx

Hi all, hope you are all cooing well with your waiting and your pregnancies. Now 5 doo on cycle 6 since my last loss. Third cycle on pred from ovulation. Just preying it happens soon. Decided not to go for letrozole and trigger shots for now since I know I ovulate most month on my own so I just have to wait and pray for it to happen . Then live in fear that the drugs wont work. In the meantime I am on a diet which avoids al my allergies which are many and it is quite gard.

Just spotted this thread and wanted to share that I have 2 lovely little ones who I firmly believe would not be here without the CRP Clinic. Thinking of everyone on this difficult road and wishing you all so much luck on your journeys.

Hello lovely ladies, I hope you are all doing well. Just checking if any of you are on letrozole and what mg gave you more than 1 follicles. So it’s been 2 cycles for me so far that I was on letrozole (cycle 1 5mg and cycle 2 7.5mg)- both cycles i only got 1 follicle. I never had ovulation issue but started taking it hoping to get more than 1 follicle to increase my chance of conception. But it doesn’t seem to be working for me. This cycle the dosage will be 10mg. I am wondering if it will ever work.
anyone here on 10mg dosage?

hi @Hope646 I did respond to the drugs but never had issues with thin lining of the uterus until I started Latrozole….maybe it’s only a coincidence but I think every body is different and perhaps each body takes time to respond perfectly to the medication. Since you have nonissues with ovulation would u consider to get back to try naturally? I am thinking to giving it a go this month and see what happens. I bet though that with 10mg u will develop more than 1 follicle. When are u starting? Xx

@Rainbowchaser87 hey hun, thanks for responding. I will see how this month goes, if I get more follicles, great. If not, no point of me being on it. I will just go back trying naturally. especially how expensive it is to go for ovulation scan every month. Currently I am on day 3 of my cycle so I have started taking 10mg letrozole daily. Hoping it wont have bad impact on the lining considering the high dosage now.
How are you doing? When are you due to take a test?

@Hope646 hey hun x it shouldn’t affect ur lining if it hasn’t it done already so I think u are fine! Also because this issue has happened to me only as many other women had no such issue!
I am waiting for my period as in April we couldn’t try. Period should come by the beginning of May and then we pray and hope.
I agree! Scan+medications is a lot to add to the intralipids as well! Hopefully this month will work and hopefully u will get ur BFP!!!🙏🏽😘

Morning all, hope you are all OK. I am feeling really miserable today. The baby from my first unsuccessful pregnancy should have been a year old round about now and today at 13 dpo I got another negative test. I just want to move on and I feel like the whole focus of my life has been about this. That said, there is nothing else I want to focus on. I'm on and off pred every flipping month. Now about to start cycle 7 and the fourth cycle of pred from ovulation. Feeling rather bitter today! X

@Objectiontime I am so sorry u feel law and I think I know exactly what u mean. My first baby should be 1, 2nd 6 months and the 3rd 2 months! And in the meantime today I am waiting for my period!! It feels like u are stuck and life goes on…everything reminds u of that…it’s horrible but good days are coming! We will go through this and we will have our babies! It’s only a matter of time! It’s hard and u wonder why is so hard for u while others seem to pop babies like nothing…It will happen and it will be all worthy! Sending u a big hug!!
