Hi lovely ladies, just looking for some positive stories of going to CRP clinic ? My back story I have had a chemical then a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks ( baby stopped growing at 6 weeks) then another chemical. I went to CRP clinic three weeks ago and spent £3,300 on tests, everything came back normal apart from the Cytoxicity NK cells (activation of Nk Cells in pregnancy state) normal is below 20 percent and mine are at 26 percent. I suppose I’m just concerned is this really the reason for my 3 loses ?! I hope it is and that the treatment plan can be successful ! He’s put me on superovulation, infusion before ovulation then prednisone and infusion then test. Also taking viagra to help with the lining. I’m having this month off as partner is away so starting next month. I’m so worried about the steroids. Also I’m hoping he will be able to help with my lining. Does anyone know what he will do if my lining is thin on scan day? My last clinic I was at did nothing. No wonder it wasn’t successful. CRP seem great so far just expensive !!! Any comments and replies are so so welcomed

@Hope646 when are you able to do a test??? I have everything crossed for you!!!!! ... I am 12+4 now hun. I had my initial appointment with CRP in September. This was my second round of superovulation that I fell pregnant. The first i was on too high does of letrozole so I had too many follicles they wouldnt let me trigger. But the second with reduced dosage was much better and I got three follicles :) Its been an expensive journey but if it gets me a healthy little girl its all worth it !!! xxx

@Hope646 I’m sorry! That’s so frustrating! But when ur egg was released there was sperm waiting for it so I think u should be fine…it can still happen!!

@Meg310532 ahh that’s great. Didn’t take too long for superovulation to work for you. It’s a beautiful journey but with a lot of anxiety. Defo very veryyy expensive but it will be all worth it once you have your baby with you.
For me this is actually us trying for our second baby. I had 4 miscarriages before I started my treatment with Prof. Shehata and through his protocol we have our rainbow baby with us today. I was anxious until I gave birth. we conceived without superovulation. But after my baby, my cycle has been all over the place so hoping superovulation makes it more regular and we can have our second baby.

@Hope646 that’s amazing that the protocol worked for your raindbow baby . Did you have any miscarriages with CRP? Or was it straight forward? I can’t help but still feel anxious about miscarrying ! I just wish I could feel fully relaxed! What were you diagnosed with at CRP? Xxx

No miscarriages with CRP. I managed to conceive on the third cycle and thinking back, it was straightforward. Really hoping it’s the same this time.
After conceiving, I was having spotting quite a lot during first trimester. For that I had keep coming off aspirin and going back on it. Seeing blood every time was really scary. I was living in fear and anxiety the whole of my pregnancy.
inwas diagnosed with high NK cell during implantation. They put me under treatment until I was 4 month pregnancy. The treatment was infusion, progesterone, prednisolone and aspirin.

Just believe in the process. You are in good hands. I know how hard it is. Full of doubts and anxiousness. Have you ever come this far in your pregnancy?
For me now it’s being able to conceive again.

I had 3 miscarriages and now with prof.Shehata. I am due to test in 7 days! I really hope it will be our month!! How thick were u from the follicle scan? Xx

they couldn’t measure the follicles for me because I had already ovulated. But could see 2 follicles released so decided to keep same dosage (5mg) for next cycle if I don’t fall pregnant this cycle and do the scan earlier.
I am due to test tomorrow. It will be day 10 post ovulation. No symptoms at all. I don’t feel anything. I don’t think it’s going to be any good news 😭

@Hope646 keeping everything crossed for you. Both times I tested positive I felt exactly the same as when I had my period, so you never know. X

Hi Ladies, I am under Dr S via the nhs and after 5 very early miscarriages they have finally diagnosed me with high NK cells so I was given Hydroxychloquine and then prednisolone when I will ovulate.
I am just a bit worried about these drugs and side effects though. Does anybody have experience on Hydroxychloroquine? Thanks!

@Rainbowchaser87 how are you doing? I’m currently 6 days post trigger so just testing out the trigger shot and making sure that goes,

@Rainbowchaser87 I am ok right this moment. Maybe because I am now on day 3 of my cycle and I look forward to this new cycle. my period was late by a day.. and I was having some Preg symptoms like sore boobs. I really kept feeling I might be pregnant and the day 10 test might have been too early. So took more tests but clearly all were negative.
This cycle of trying, hope and broken hope is tiring for all of us.
when are you due to do the test? I have got everything crossed for you 🙌🏻

For this cycle I have been booked on day 14 of my cycle for ovulation scan because of the weekend. I am hoping this won’t be late again. When did you guys have your scan and when was the ovulation? I would really appreciate some advice here 🙏🏻

Hi Hun @Hope646 so on my first super ovulation i had scan on day 11 but on the second round I had it on day 13 and then took the trigger on day 14 and then you ovulate 36 hours after the trigger. Can you not ask to go on Day 11 on the friday?? xxx

@Hope646 I know what u mean! I tested on Monday and BFN! Waiting for my period…should come any day now…I look forward to my next cycle too…but at the same time I also feel quite exhausted by the whole thing…

Me again! So doctor has recommended to stop Hydroxychloroquine due to side effects. Has anybody had a successful pregnancy with just prednisolone and progesterone? I am a bit in 2 minds now.. 😞

@CarpeDiem75 I didnt take Hydroxychlorquine I only took prednisolone and progesterone, along with infusions. But i didnt have high number of NK cells i just had high activation of NK cells so not sure if that makes a difference? x

@Meg310532 do you know what’s the difference between high activation and high number? I am not even sure which one I am because they told my number was high I assumed they meant I have a high number!! How can you tell from the results? Thanks!!!

@CarpeDiem75 it sounds like you might have both as you have been given the hydroxy and the prednisolone. My friend on here just had high number and was given hydroxy but no prednisolone. So the high acitvation means that i have the right amount NK cells in my body but when i get pregnant those NK cells go into high activation. My High activation comes under NK-Cell Cytotoxicity as that was at 26% and anything below 20% is normal.The part where it tells you that you have high total cells is Total NK cell Absolute count. Have you got your results to hand? xx

@Meg310532thank you makes sense! yes I just read them and got both 😩 so the fact that I am not tolerating Hydroxy is not good news then … I am so annoyed I got side effect from it… that’s a shame nobody else had the same issue as me ! Would you know any other group I could have answered about having high count but only prednisolone… basically when I spoke to the nhs they told me tough luck and there is no other alternative for me… and I can’t go private for this 😞 so frustrating

@CarpeDiem75 what side effects were you getting? Doesn't surprise me NHS having a response like that!!! You could always ask CRP clinic?? ... and see if they can advise you? im not sure where else you could get an answer to a question like that? xx

@Meg310532basically since Friday night my ear is blocked and feel inflamed inside and I have slight whistling noise …😕 I know it sounds not much now but I think overtime it can be a permanent thing so they are preventing this I guess…

@CarpeDiem75 im on hydroxy and I also have this blocked ear thing, like one ear is blocked and when I swallow or yawn it pops, it’s really werid,
