Dr Shehata CRP clinic

Hi lovely ladies, just looking for some positive stories of going to CRP clinic ? My back story I have had a chemical then a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks ( baby stopped growing at 6 weeks) then another chemical. I went to CRP clinic three weeks ago and spent £3,300 on tests, everything came back normal apart from the Cytoxicity NK cells (activation of Nk Cells in pregnancy state) normal is below 20 percent and mine are at 26 percent. I suppose I’m just concerned is this really the reason for my 3 loses ?! I hope it is and that the treatment plan can be successful ! He’s put me on superovulation, infusion before ovulation then prednisone and infusion then test. Also taking viagra to help with the lining. I’m having this month off as partner is away so starting next month. I’m so worried about the steroids. Also I’m hoping he will be able to help with my lining. Does anyone know what he will do if my lining is thin on scan day? My last clinic I was at did nothing. No wonder it wasn’t successful. CRP seem great so far just expensive !!! Any comments and replies are so so welcomed

@Rainbowchaser87
hi! Yes to super ovulation with CRP. And steroids and extra progesterone. I’m 42 in one month, I’m wondering if I should try to add IVF, but the cost is very large. Did you try IVF or considered it?

AgnesTTC · 02/10/2025 16:57

@Rainbowchaser87
funny thing is my 2 week wait is not 2 weeks long. I get my period 10 days after ovulation. Odd…
I hate the 2 week wait. On the plus side I got the confirmation from the CRP doctor that my theory is correct. I can do pregnancy test from the start after the shot and see it get fainter, so when I test at 2 weeks it’s not a false and if it goes away I can know that it’s a chemical not false positive and don’t have to wonder.
I hate the 2ww, I’m emotional and ridiculous. What have you been doing to distract yourself?

AgnesTTC · 18/10/2025 19:32

Hi Guys. It turned out that the 2nd cycle turned in to another chemical pregnancy. We have decided to proceed with IVF via CRP with Kings Fertility. Anyone else who is going through this process?

Hi, Did anyone else experience spotting from the day they started taking progesterone until they stopped each cycle? I'm with Shehata on 400mg oral utrogestan 1dpo, Hydroxychloroquine and 75mg aspirin + adalimumab jabs.

I am in conversation with the clinic and they've told me to try up my dose to 500mg per night and then come in for another scan, but I'm just wondering how common this spotting is. It generally makes me feel absolutely awful each day I take it but the spotting is the concerning thing.

I should add, I never used to have spotting before starting this medication. Even after having an operation in July for removal of a subserosal fibroid (on outside of uterus).

@Meg310532 Heyy hun.. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. After everything you went through to have your baby, this feels so cruel. Sending you all the love and strength in the world.
even though I don’t really know you but reading that you have started the whole treatment again makes me so proud of you for staying strong and not giving up. Wishing you all the luck for this cycle. I have got everything crossed for you 🙏🏻
I fell pregnant last summer too after a few cycles on letrozole, but sadly the baby stopped growing at 10 weeks. It was heartbreaking. We have started trying again the last couple of months, but I have just been put on Humira and have been asked to pause trying for a month. So that’s where i am at in my journey so far.

Meg310532 · 21/02/2026 06:26

thanks so much really means a lot. It’s such a cruel world and I can’t believe everything that’s happened to be honest. But I’m trying so hard to not let it defeat me. I don’t imagine myself ever being able to give up as I want it to bad it just takes a lot of strength. Oh Noo I am so sorry to hear that that’s heartbreaking that must have hit you so hard. How come you have to take a pause when put on to Humira? Did they find an auto immune condition after the loss of your baby? I thought you could still continue to try being on that kind of medication? Xxx

I bet, I can’t even begin to imagine. Keeping you in my thoughts and hoping 2026 brings you all the happiness you deserve!

I’ve just started treatment at CRP, which bought me to this thread. Following 3 miscarriages over 2 years (twins at 10wks, blighted ovum, chemical), I’m now on exactly the same protocol you were/are (NK Cytotoxicity is 27, polycystic morphology (no PCOS) = intralipids, letrozole 5mg, prednisolone and the HyFosy next cycle).

Wishing you all the very best. Life can be so incredibly cruel but keep pushing through… it’ll all work out. 🙏🏻✨ xxx

@Meg310532 I’ve never had one before (Hycosy or Hyfosy) … but I’ve heard it’s painful. Dreading it. Let me know how you get on xx

Meg310532 · 06/03/2026 06:40

@Han71427 the Hyfosy was a absolute breeze hun! Nothing like my Hycosy. I didn’t feel anything not even period pains, I was shocked as expected the worse x x x

Hope646 · 31/03/2026 12:32

@Meg310532 hey hun how are you doing?
it was a bfn for me after a month of humira treatment for me. i am debating whether to continue taking letrozole or just try naturally
it is so draining 😭
how is everyone doing?

Meg310532 · 31/03/2026 14:56

@Hope646 im on my 5th round of letrozole and I’m so drained by it all honestly :( !! Sorry to hear you had a BFN again: what has the Dr said ?? I’m actually booked in for IVF in May as I need some control back as I’m just exhausted with month in month out of this xx

OP posts:
Hope646 · 31/03/2026 15:33

@Meg310532 ah hun.. that must be exhausting. when are you to test this cycle? ah great, is that going to be your first ivf? is it going to be at crp too?
Dr. has left the options to me. they think i can get pregnant. but this time it seems to be much harder. i dont know if letrozole is doing more harms to me. i am not sure if anyone felt that?

AgnesTTC · 15/04/2026 19:54

Hi Everyone. Just wanted to share something positive. After 4 early miscarriages we decided to try IVF. Then two failed IVF cycles we where about to give up. Tried the third IVF cycle just now because the 3rd one is discounted, so we might as well try one last time for less £. We just found out the results of genetic testing of the embryos: 2 genetically healthy embryos with high chances of pregnancy. There is finally light at the end of the tunnel. This was so statistically unlikely! Not quite a BFP yet but this is so much more likely to happen now. Don’t give up hope ladies even after multiple failures it can still happen! Sending hugs.

Hope646 · 19/04/2026 21:07

@AgnesTTC this is great news. thanks for sharing. i am sure its been a long draining journey. so proud of you for not giving up. wishingbyou the best and i have got everything crossed for you. please keep us posted on how it goes xx
Would you mind sharing how your IVF experience been with CRP? i am not sure if you had any experience in IVF elsewhere? would you recommend crp when it comes to IVF? Also, did you try letrozole first?

Hope646 · 19/04/2026 21:09

@Meg310532 how are you doing hun?

Meg310532 · Today 08:13

@Hope646 hey hun! I had a 5th unsuccessful round of super ovulation so I am now moving forward with IVF I go abroad in 3 weeks on Friday !!!! I feel it’s the best decision for me as the super ovulation was becoming such a strain on my relationship and was exhausting me emotionally. How are you ???? Xxx
