Hi lovely ladies, just looking for some positive stories of going to CRP clinic ? My back story I have had a chemical then a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks ( baby stopped growing at 6 weeks) then another chemical. I went to CRP clinic three weeks ago and spent £3,300 on tests, everything came back normal apart from the Cytoxicity NK cells (activation of Nk Cells in pregnancy state) normal is below 20 percent and mine are at 26 percent. I suppose I’m just concerned is this really the reason for my 3 loses ?! I hope it is and that the treatment plan can be successful ! He’s put me on superovulation, infusion before ovulation then prednisone and infusion then test. Also taking viagra to help with the lining. I’m having this month off as partner is away so starting next month. I’m so worried about the steroids. Also I’m hoping he will be able to help with my lining. Does anyone know what he will do if my lining is thin on scan day? My last clinic I was at did nothing. No wonder it wasn’t successful. CRP seem great so far just expensive !!! Any comments and replies are so so welcomed

Hi! I'm new here and I'm really sorry if I'm butting in on a thread which is not suitable for me to do so! I'm desperate for another baby- I have a 1 year old and four year old.
4 year old born at 39 weeks, induced, resulted in ongoing fecal incontinence.
1 year old - I had pprom at 26 weeks, was told labour 75% likely in next 48 hours-1 week but she held on till planned c section at 34w. Daughter had a brain bleed, needed to be resuscitated, ventilated too. They think I ppromed due to psuedonomas colonisation in vagina. I was on IV meropenem at 24 weeks then st 26 weeks my waters started leaking and continued leaking
Thing is my nana ppromed at 33 and 32 weeks and had her 3rd and 4th daughters then and my mum ppromed with me at 35+6 (her only child).
I don't know whether to see quenby or shehata for another pregnancy (hopefully). Can I get advice please?
I'm extremely fortunate that I haven't suffered the horrors of miscarriage, only the pprom, but I'd really like to find the cause and prevent it from happening again. Can anyone help?

@SpudAndShades I’m with dr shehata and he’s found the cause of my miscarriages and I think he’s great, I’m currently waiting to start treatment and ovulation induction but he’s been really helpful so far. I would defo reccomend him and you’ve been through a lot so you are a strong women!! Look after yourself xxxx

awww hey @Rainbowchaser87 i am really good thanks hun!! i had 10 week 4 day scan on friday and harmony blood test. I got the harmony results back that said low risk for the three chromosome abnormality's they check for. I have got my 12 week scan on Monday which is a 45 min indepth scan and then infusion!! how are you getting on ??? thanks so much for checking in xxxx

Well…I finally got my period and I am day 4 with Latrozole and Viagra. Doing all the walking, pomegranate, beetroot and warm water bottles! I had to stop the L-arginine as it made me feel short of breath! Praying that I will be soon leaving the dream too! ❤️

@Rainbowchaser87 awww thanks so much hun!! I do definitely feel a lot less anxious now for sure, I will feel even better on Monday once my 12 week scan is done as that’s just the real reassurance isnt it. I have been seeing dr silva each scan which I much prefer I absolutely love her and just connect with her a lot more.
ahhh amazing day 4 of letrozole , how are you feeling ?? What day is your follicle scan booked in?? Glad you are on the beetroot juice and viagra praying for you for a good lining and some good follicles hun!!!!! X

Hi all, I'm now on pred from ovulation. First couple of months it was fine but this month, now I'm in the last week of my cycle, I have extreme exhaustion, bloating and constipation. I also hade a stuffy nose so I think I may have a cold coming. I know all these things campn be pregnancy symptoms too but I'm cramping today and AF due at weekend so I'm not convinced. FRER negative at 10 dpo. Temp still high, a lot higher than normal to be honest.
Anyone have all these symptoms with pred?

@Objectiontime hi hun! I had and have a lot of bloating from progesterone, are you on progesterone too?? I didn’t get any flu like symptoms on the steroids though ? Sorry that you are having these symptoms, fingers are crossed that the negative turns to positive maybe in a day or so if you implanted late maybe x

@Meg310532 Thank you for your message. Negative on FRER this morning at 13 dpo. Slight drop in temp this morning so I am pretty sure I am out for tge month. I'm not on progesterone yet. I have some which I have been told to start when I do get a positive test. My doctor doesn't think I need it but is asking me to take it just in case I will just move on to next month I guess. Not too sure how many months one can keep starting and stopping pred without a break so I hope it happens soon. Really I just want to see if the med does the trick I think.

@BusyJadeBiscuit hi darling, are u on Viagra with CRP? If yes, had it causing spotting after the period? Xx

Aww love this :)) mine is at 11:15 so yes we will deff meet. Ahh no I didn’t spot, is it usual for you to spot ?? What cycle day are you ?? I think it can be common on letrozole though ?? Oh wait actually I think I remember spotting like 4 days after my period once x

Hello lovely ladies, I am hoping someone can help me here. It is my first cycle on Letrozole and because my last 3 cycles were around 39-45 days, I pushed back my ovulation scan by few days with the advice of the nurse at CRP clinic as I wasn’t seeing any signs of ovulation. It was also because previously I ovulated on day 26-29. But I started seeing LH surge just after the weekend on day 14 of my cycle.
i had my scan today (day 16) and on the scan it showed I have already ovulated. Seems letrozole has shortened my cycle which is what I wanted also but didn’t know it would actually do.
i don’t know when exactly my ovulation may have been. Can someone here advice please based on the attached LH result that I have been tracking using premom strips? It doesn’t really say which day was “peak”, just shows low and high.
Not sure if we have covered ourselves for this cycle. We did have intercourse day 13, 14, 15. But day 15 was almost after midnight so technically it was day 16. Hahaha I know this is too much thinking but just thinking about the fact that egg only survives upto 12 hours if I am not wrong?
I know I may be overthinking here but I am so gutted I missed to have the scan on time. That would have avoided all these doubts.

hey @Hope646 ohhh that’s so frustrating that you missed ovulation on the scan ! are you on metformin too ? Metformin and letrozole shortened my cycle too and bought forward my ovulation by over a weeks. Which is obvs a good thing, but just frustrating for you that you were not able to benefit from the trigger shot releasing all the eggs ! How many follicles did you have ?
you have covered yourself pre ovulation as sperm can live in your tubes for 5 days. Did you continue to have sex after day 16 as it looks like your peak was day 15 which means you would ovulate 24 -36 hours after your peaks so that would be prime time to have sex as that’s when the eggs coming down the tube and best time to meet the sperm. Xxx

@Hope646 sorry just worked it out from your timings on the tests, you need to have sex at 11 o clock tomorrow night to be 36 hours after your peak and maybe just do tomorrow morning too to be sure ! Xxxxx

Hey @Meg310532 thank you so much for your reply. On the scan today being day 16, they could see 2 follicles (1 corpus luteum and one collapsing follicle) - evidence that I already ovulated. Now to get some insight from the home tests, the highest surge I got on Premom strips were 2 days ago day 14 and next day 15 was still showing high surge but slightly dropped. Today’s one was low. So we did have sex on day 13, 14, and 15. What do you think? Is that enough?
not sure if we covered ourself enough. Fraustrating that I had a sudden peak. So it went from low to a sudden peak, to still slightly high and then low.
Considering this information, Dr. Edge was quite reassuring that I should still have a chance and not having trigger shot shouldn’t make much difference in my case because I did ovulate but I still feel very anxious for not being prepared. It feels like an exam, you think you did ok but could have been much more prepared and done better 🙈🙈

Ohhh sorry yes I can see that no hun @Hope646 yeh you have deff covered yourself enough for sure !! It’s so annoying when things don’t go the way you want them to isn’t it ! I totally get your worry and frustration with it ! It’s just nice to know from the trigger the exact time to have sex isn’t it. I hate all the guessing work and ovulation strips etc ! I have everything crossed for you hun!
I have started to come off the prednisolone only dropped by 1 tablet the last two days and the headache and sicky feeling is not good for me :( xxx
