Hi lovely ladies, just looking for some positive stories of going to CRP clinic ? My back story I have had a chemical then a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks ( baby stopped growing at 6 weeks) then another chemical. I went to CRP clinic three weeks ago and spent £3,300 on tests, everything came back normal apart from the Cytoxicity NK cells (activation of Nk Cells in pregnancy state) normal is below 20 percent and mine are at 26 percent. I suppose I’m just concerned is this really the reason for my 3 loses ?! I hope it is and that the treatment plan can be successful ! He’s put me on superovulation, infusion before ovulation then prednisone and infusion then test. Also taking viagra to help with the lining. I’m having this month off as partner is away so starting next month. I’m so worried about the steroids. Also I’m hoping he will be able to help with my lining. Does anyone know what he will do if my lining is thin on scan day? My last clinic I was at did nothing. No wonder it wasn’t successful. CRP seem great so far just expensive !!! Any comments and replies are so so welcomed

Hi hun I’m good thank you how are you ?? @Rainbowchaser87 ! I had my 8 week scan on Thursday which went well, measuring 8 weeks 1 days and strong heartbeat. They said the ten week is the big one though to test chromosomes etc! So got that in a couple of weeks. Xxx

@Meg310532 I’m on hydroxychloroquine 400mg and I’ve gotta take my second jab on humira( adalimumbab) this week, and then I’m going onto super ovulation plan which is letrozole. Any success stories with these medications? I have pcos and high NK cells

@Rainbowchaser87 i have sore boobs, and I’m soooo hungry and want to eat everything bad 😂😂 but no sickness (Aparently the steroids mask symptoms of morning sickness though as they are given to woman who suffer HG in pregnancy too) so maybe will get away with the sickness ?? When is your first day ur next cycle ? X

@BusyJadeBiscuit hey hun! So I was on intrapalid infusion pre ovulation then letrozole days 3-7 trigger shot day 14 steroids 25mg and progesterone tablets another infusion post positive test (three days after positive test) and then every four weeks another infusion! It worked for me superovulation my first cycle with trigger shot at CRP! The first cycle got cancelled as I had too many follicles xx

@Meg310532 that’s great, I’m going to be doing super ovulation with letrozole hopefully on my next cycle! We’ve been told to avoid a pregnancy.

he wants me to have intralipid infusion before ovulation aswell , and when I get pregnant and up to 20 weeks I think? I also have progesterone tablets ready to take once I start letrozole, I was worried it won’t work with my pcos but I’ve seen a few success stories with it,

@BusyJadeBiscuit how many mg of steroids are u on? why is he giving progesterone from day 2 if u don’t mind me asking? Xx

@Rainbowchaser87 sorry I didn’t put a space between that, im not sure when he wants me to take the progesterone from, i have our phase 2 consultation in two weeks time, i think we will find out then?

is hydroxychloroquine classed as steroids?

@BusyJadeBiscuit hydroxychloroquine I think are anti malaria tablets. Steroids are prednisolone tablets. I take progesterone the day after ovulation with steroids.
when are u starting latrozole? I am not sure when I will have my period but looking forward to this new cycle!! Xx

@Rainbowchaser87 dr S prescribed them and other women on this thread are on them so they must be specific to my results!!

@BusyJadeBiscuit I have high NK cells activity once I get pregnant therefore my 3 miscarriages. I started Letrozole in Jan, on Feb I abandoned the cycle so waiting for the next one.
I started superovulation programme to speed up the process. I am on Viagra from day 2 with Latrozole to thicken my endometrium. Then after trigger shots steroids, progesterone. I am also on 75mg aspirin every evening.
Do u live close by to Epsom? How did u find out about prof. Shehata? Xx

@Rainbowchaser87 I’m sorry for your losses, he had two miscarriages and dr S thinks it’s because of High NK cells, and my pcos I don’t ovulate regularly so I’m hoping letrozole will help this. I heard from him as my friend who used him found out she had nk cells and went on to have a successful pregnancy via IVF, I live 4 hours away. So 7 hour round trip both ways! What about you?

@BusyJadeBiscuit i thought the hydroxy was to bring the NK count cell down ?? I have high NK activity and was put on steroids (prednisolone) so sorry to hear about ur loses hun! Hopefully this protocol will work for you xxxx

@Meg310532 I’m not sure, I’m very new to this, I’m just taking what I’m being told to take? I haven’t been put on prednisone not sure why? It seems most people are on it.

So looking by my results - my total NK cell absolute count is high at 377.5 and my TNF alpha is high at 32.8

@BusyJadeBiscuit the absolute count is the amount of NK cells you have ! You get put on the hydroxy for a few months to bring those down ! I think it’s injections isn’t it ?? The cytotoxicity is the activation when you are pregnant! If this is high you get put on steroids ! So maybe this wasn’t high? So when you are pregnant it doesnt go high ? Xx

no hydroxy is tablets, I have taken an injection two weeks ago called adalimumab( humira) I think the other word for it is, and I have to take another injection of it this week,

im glad that’s the reason I’m not on steroids I was worried I wouldn’t be on them like most people are, but my results must be ok to not be on them
