Hi lovely ladies, just looking for some positive stories of going to CRP clinic ? My back story I have had a chemical then a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks ( baby stopped growing at 6 weeks) then another chemical. I went to CRP clinic three weeks ago and spent £3,300 on tests, everything came back normal apart from the Cytoxicity NK cells (activation of Nk Cells in pregnancy state) normal is below 20 percent and mine are at 26 percent. I suppose I’m just concerned is this really the reason for my 3 loses ?! I hope it is and that the treatment plan can be successful ! He’s put me on superovulation, infusion before ovulation then prednisone and infusion then test. Also taking viagra to help with the lining. I’m having this month off as partner is away so starting next month. I’m so worried about the steroids. Also I’m hoping he will be able to help with my lining. Does anyone know what he will do if my lining is thin on scan day? My last clinic I was at did nothing. No wonder it wasn’t successful. CRP seem great so far just expensive !!! Any comments and replies are so so welcomed

@Meg310532 when you get the trigger how many days do you have sex?

@BusyJadeBiscuit one thing I will say is you are so much more fertile after having the saline, as it causes a bit of trauma to your tubes and womb so blood pumps more there , a lot of people get pregnant within a couple of months of having it, I got pregnant the first try after it but it ended In a chemical. It’s an expensive route to go down but if it brings you your baby it’s priceless isn’t it. How old are you if you don’t mind me asking ? I’m 35 and I also have a high AMH. So with the trigger I had sex on the day before trigger day of trigger and then the next morning after trigger then 36 hours after the trigger but I was just being over cautious: the guideline from CRP is day before trigger day of trigger and 36 hours after trigger. Xx

@Meg310532 Im 28. and of course money is nothing compared to your baby at the end of it- im leaning towards having it. does it hurt? its more the pain during it for me rather than the cost. We have been trying for 3 years and have had two miscarriages- think im either missing my ovulation or the eggs arent good quality?- What did DR S find after having all your bloods?xx

@BusyJadeBiscuit I won’t lie it did hurt, I had to have gas and air but was over in 15 mins and it also does help flush the tubes a bit too. So it’s deff worth it. So I found that my LH surge wasn’t that strong due to PCOS I wasn’t always ovulating hence all the extra immature follicles stuck on the ovaries so I found that letrozole and trigger was a game changer as it guaranteed ovulation and also I could time the sex spot on , took all the guessing work out and the stress of ovulation testing etc. so they found that when I was pregnant my NK cells went into high activation at 24 percent when it’s supposed to be under 20! So put me on prednisolone and progesterone with the infusions to keep the NK cells at bay. The steroids make me feel out of it for about 1-2 hours a day about an hour after taking so I make sure I’m not driving or anything when I take them xxx

@Meg310532 I actually had a postive OPK easy at home which i never get and it was really dark- so we did actually BD on wednesday night when i got the positive OPK i probably shouldnt have as i know dr S is pre conception advise but i couldnt pass it especially when i havent had one in ages- he did start me on metformin at my first appointment too- and 75mg asprin, did you take either??xx

I was offered it as well as I had some fluids that in the end dr could remove with a kind of swab…I am on SO too…day 3 today of Latrozole scan next week 🙏🏽…

@Rainbowchaser87 hey- im doing okay thanks. high AMH means i have a high amount of eggs in my ovaries. its a saline that they use to check your tubes i think?? dont quote me on it.

@BusyJadeBiscuit yes same, I was put on 3 metformin, folic acid, asprin, fish oil, vitamin c , inafolic & husband on Impryl (his sperm is fine) but it’s just to make it even better. I also take L-arginine every day to help with my lining and viagra from day 1 to ovulation but that was stuff I researched myself that CRP said I can do if I wanted. Only because my lining was too thin when I did a superovulation with a different clinic so knew I needed to get it thicker and it’s deff helped. Also took beetroot juice from ovulation to preg test as it helps with implantation and blood flow :)) xx

@Meg310532 i thought viagra was for men?? my partner has had a sperm test all fine.
ive been taking all the tablets reccomended by DR S on the slip he gave xx

when you did your blood test with him did anything come back for you about NK cells?

what was the value of ur AMH if you don’t mind me asking? It’s a good news! Xx

I can’t remember the exact but I know I was still in like the green but the the highest point of the green about to go into the red for high. I don’t have any of the other symptoms of PCOS, My weight is normal, no excess hair etc. so it’s just the polycystic ovaries rather than all the other stuff if that makes sense ? X

Also Dr Edge is fantastic! I am under her care atm. I am fairly new to CRP clinic, 3 months but really Jan has been my first month that I proper TTC.

Unfortunately for me the estrogens with Letrozole didn’t work…No follicles and no thick lining 😞😞 I cannot tell u how upset I am!!
next month I am gonna have Viagra like u so hopefully that will work! 🙏🏽 How long did it take for you to work the Viagra? Did u start on day 2 as well? Xx

Ohh no I am so sorry to hear this @Rainbowchaser87 so frustrating !!! Have they advised you to up your letrozole mg now too then if you had no follicles ??? I took 25mg viagra twice a day from days 2-14 and also 4 x L-Arganine and also beetroot juice! Hopefully this will help yours for next time ! Superdrug online will prescribe viagra you just have to pretend you are your partner requesting it as they aren’t authorised to prescribe to woman x x

Yes, i am going to take 7mg this time. How many mg were u on? I will buy also L-Arganine. Did u take from day 2 as well? Did all make a difference from the first month or did it take a while to have a thick lining? X they gave me private prescription for Viagra so will buy it in pharmacy. I am so upset! I couldn’t help to have a little cry on my own tbh!

Oh amazing that they gave you private prescription @Rainbowchaser87 did you tell
them that you knew someone who had taken it or did they suggest it ?? I take L-arginine every single day ! I probably should check if I should still be taking it now Actually I just get worried to stop. It didn’t take long at all for my lining to thicken, also walking helps the lining so make sure you go out for a walk every day, I always make sure I walk at least 5k a day and that massively helped too. So I started on 7mg and had waaaaay to many follicles so cycle was cancelled and then went down to 5mg and that’s when I had the three. I’m not surprised hun it’s so bloody deflating !! Did they say why they thought you hadn’t responded to letrozole this cycle but did last ??? … I’m okay thank you, Wednesday just needs to hurry up xx

@Meg310532 basically while letrozole reduces ur estrogens to stimulate ur ovulation, I was taking also estrogens to thicken my lining from day 2 as well. Generally this combo works but in my case it kind of stopped my ovulation. Now I stopped my estrogens and will track my cycle and see if I ovulate my self later on. So the doctor offered me for next month option 1) Letrozole+Viagra or 2) injections of Ganoal F. I then mentioned u and ur experience with Viagra.
In the end we opted for plan 1 cause we know that last month Letrozole worked fine without the estrogens from day 2 and we increased also Letrozole dose to 7mg.
I workout 6 times a week already but I will definitely add the walking as it won’t hurt I guess! Anything honestly!!! I am on my way to buy pomegranate and beetroot juice too! 😅

ahh honestly I will give you as much info as I can @Rainbowchaser87 !!! This will put a pic of the ones I get hun from Amazon! Also when I was with Bourne clinic they suggested Gonal-f too because of my lining I ended up buying the Gonal-F but left that clinic and never did it. So I have it in the fridge still (was like £200) so if you end up wanting to do that route let me know and I will post this to you so you don’t have to pay for it! Xx

You are more than welcome @Rainbowchaser87 I literally have so much stuff left over from Bourne , loads of progesterone injections and blood thinning injections etc too! Yes hun I took 4 a day everyday but as soon as got pregs reduced to two! You can take them as soon as you get them through hun! What was the lining this time what mm ? X x

Hi everyone, sorry to hijack this chat. I am starting on superovulation tomorrow - I've been sent the letorzole to take days 2-7 but they haven't told me what time of day to take it. What guidance did the CRP clinic give you? Thank you x

Hi @1SparklingWater1 they really didn’t tell me anything about it so I guess it doesn’t matter. I tried to take it every morning at the same time. X

started with L-arginine 🙂
