Hi lovely ladies, just looking for some positive stories of going to CRP clinic ? My back story I have had a chemical then a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks ( baby stopped growing at 6 weeks) then another chemical. I went to CRP clinic three weeks ago and spent £3,300 on tests, everything came back normal apart from the Cytoxicity NK cells (activation of Nk Cells in pregnancy state) normal is below 20 percent and mine are at 26 percent. I suppose I’m just concerned is this really the reason for my 3 loses ?! I hope it is and that the treatment plan can be successful ! He’s put me on superovulation, infusion before ovulation then prednisone and infusion then test. Also taking viagra to help with the lining. I’m having this month off as partner is away so starting next month. I’m so worried about the steroids. Also I’m hoping he will be able to help with my lining. Does anyone know what he will do if my lining is thin on scan day? My last clinic I was at did nothing. No wonder it wasn’t successful. CRP seem great so far just expensive !!! Any comments and replies are so so welcomed

@Blossomvic hi darling…so sorry for your losses…it makes u feel less alone knowing that others are going through the same struggles isn’t it? Keep us posted what Prof will tell
u on Monday! We have hope! ❤️🫂

Thank you!
All went well, except my results came back all as normal 🥲 but I've got a treatment plan anyway and had my first intralipid yesterday so will do a regular cycle this month inc all the post ovulation meds & steroids then start superovulation from next month.

How are you getting on?

Rainbowchaser87 · 22/07/2025 14:49

@Blossomvic glad u now have a plan! Wishing u the best of lack for this new cycle!!!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Rainbowchaser87 · 01/08/2025 19:57

@CarpeDiem75 how are u doing darling? Xx

CarpeDiem75 · 02/08/2025 18:48

@Rainbowchaser87 hey Lovely I am ok. I did another letrozole cycle but woke up 2 days after ovulation with a UTI so I am on amoxicillin now. I am really down because I am worried this will impact any chance of implantation. I am just sick of it. It is just bad luck after bad luck😔 how are you? xxx

Rainbowchaser87 · 03/08/2025 14:24

@CarpeDiem75 oh man!! Can’t stand UTI!! And the timing eh? Don’t worry too much though…I had UTI with my first child when we were TTC and that pregnancy went perfectly 🙏🏽 hope this will happen for you too as well this month!
i am OK…not pregnant but hopeful that it will happen soon!
last month I developed too many follicles so they didn’t trigger me. Went on natural but I didn’t fall pregnant. Period is delayed for a week now…maybe hormones are a bit upside down 🙃

AgnesTTC · 07/08/2025 23:46

Hi Guys! How are you doing? I took a little break to absorb the results of the tests. So we found that inflammation was the most likely culprit of my chemical miscarriages.
I took my blood results and went to an Endocrinologist, got a hypothyroid diagnosis. Probably Hashimoto.
I’m a reaserch nerd so in to the crazy net I went. Now doing lifestyle changes, gluten, soy, dairy free diet. Medication and walks and mindfulness for lowering stress. I can’t believe that rather than medication the answer to thyroid is hippy woo-woo! But I’m doing it all anyway.
And so … can anyone recommend acupuncture in Surrey?
CRP, thankfully is focused on medicine and just went with „here is a steroid, nevermind what autoimmune issues it is, they all have the same solution” but when I asked about the diet the endocrinologist suggested they were more or less like „sure, that can only help”.
Just started the first superovulation with CRP and now the horrible 2week wait! I can’t even express how much hope and dread I feel! I don’t know if lowering stress is possible. I think even at a positive test I would just live in fear that a chemical is around the corner. I really dislike the 2 week wait and a hate the stupid hope! Anyone want to share how they deal with the wait?

@CarpeDiem75 hey! Just to let you know, there is the theory that an antibiotic could even help not hinder implantation, if there is any problem with inflammation. It’s shit for gut microbiome, so you have to watch what you eat, try kefir and kimchi and cruciferous vegetables. We just forked out for the visit to the urologist for the hubby, and one this he did mention is woman’s gut microbiome and its effect on vaginal microbiome and in turn on sperm effectiveness. If you want to read more on it here is a medical journal:

The impact of the gut microbiota on the reproductive and metabolic endocrine system - PMC

As the gut microbiota exerts various effects on the intestinal milieu which influences distant organs and pathways, it is considered to be a full-fledged endocrine organ. The microbiota plays a major role in the reproductive endocrine system ...

@AgnesTTC thanks! I will have a look at it! I have Hashimoto too but this was diagnose in 2016 as I would not have any period when I stopped my pill! I almost 10yrs now I have treatment for it I don’t do much else about it and it is stable.
I totally get the whole 2ww stress /excitement wondering if it worked or not! I am right into it! I am 8dpo I should technically test in 2 days according to Dr S protocol but after the disappointment last month (positive due to trigger shot) am going to wait and see if my period comes or not! I dont have much symptoms again so not really hopeful at all only thing I have got so far is very strong tummy cramp (like period cramps) but this is probably due to the 800mg of progesterone I have to take!!
what treatment are you on for this cycle?
@Rainbowchaser87hey how are you? Are your period back yet? So annoying they didn’t trigger … was it your decision and did they forbid it full stop? how many follicles did you have?
new cycle new hopes!! 🙏

Rainbowchaser87 · 12/08/2025 09:10

@CarpeDiem75 It was the best decision to not trigger shot me…I had 6 follicles but I am now in the 2 weeks waiting too! so here I am 🙏🏽🙏🏽 Let’s hope for a great month for all of us ❤️❤️❤️ when are u testing? Xx

Rainbowchaser87 · 12/08/2025 09:35

@CarpeDiem75 ps have UTI too!! So got my antibiotics as well!

CarpeDiem75 · 12/08/2025 09:57

@Rainbowchaser87oh no!!! Do you know what triggered it? I think mine was because of the t applicator from the Preseed lub I use!! I am in my 2ww too still but AF is due anytime now and I am pretty sure I am out… I am so tired of trying…. And paying for stimulation. I had very strong cramps from 6 to 9 soo then nothing then very very burnt nipples at 10dpo and was getting really excited.. and then 2 days later nothing again… so here we are again… I have that odd feeling before getting my period so I know I am out 😒 I feel like it is harder to get pregnant under all these meds protocols! And since I am doing it I have now no pms whatsoever after ovulation which I found weird so I hope my hormones are coping with the medications! How many days before testing? Have you a stimulation this month? I am crossing everything for you!!!

Rainbowchaser87 · 12/08/2025 10:59

@CarpeDiem75 I think for me some months intercourse is the trigger…do u not test earlier? Just wait for the period? I couldn’t be that patient!
I have just ovulated yesterday so literally I have got 11 days ahead of me!

AgnesTTC · 12/08/2025 11:35

@CarpeDiem75
6 follicles is a lot. Dose this happen often that you get more than 2 follicles? What dose of Letrozole are you on? CRP by default wanted to put me on a higher dose of lettozole (3 tablets ) but I purposefully asked for a smaller dose as I reacted well in the past from 2tablest a day, this time it was the same I took 2 tablets for the 5 days and ended up with 2 follicles.
I will keep my fingers crossed that you get pregnant this cycle, but if not it might be worth while asking to talk about the letrozole dose.

CarpeDiem75 · 12/08/2025 11:58

@Rainbowchaser87i did test last cycle at 10dpo as they ask but I ended up with a false positive as it was my trigger shot! So this time I decided not to test until my periods are due. I will test tomorrow as I will be day 14 so if not positive then I know I am out and I can stop the meds (which is the only thing I am looking forward to every cycle lol)

CarpeDiem75 · 12/08/2025 12:03

@AgnesTTC I am on 7.5mg so 3 tablets. At 5mg I just have one mature so not much point. I generally have 4 max! I think I probably had 2 or 3 last month he wanted me to double trigger but I only triggered once because I didn’t like the idea of a double dose it is already painful with one when I ovulate I didn’t want to explode lol. I did get pregnant with this before and back to back but at the time I was not under Dr S protocol. I just want to get pregnant once with the new medication to see if it would make a difference. I have some spare tablet of letrozole so I am tempted to do a 5mg cycle without any scan just to save a bit of money. The nhs didn’t use to scan me every month they used to give me my letrozole and I had to do it 3 months in a row. In private then want scans after scans after scans sometimes it is a bit exhausting and too
much. They are just after our money 😂

AgnesTTC · 13/08/2025 21:07

@CarpeDiem75 the consultant in Croydon hospital on NHS did scan me after every letrozole try, but I seam to always get a minimum of 2 follicles and they didn’t want to trigger me with 2. That consultant was very against the risk of twins. CRP had no issue with triggering the 2 follicles.
Based on my experience your idea of just going with letrozole is solid - that is what ended up happening for me with NHS, letrozole, then, no trigger just advised to test the ovulation urine test and try. I got pregnant and miscarried like that 3 times, so it can work fine (it looks like my miscarries are linked to autoimmune conditions, so the theory about just getting pregnant holds).

Also…
I went insane and did a pregnancy test yesterday even though I’m not supposed to do one tilll this Saturday because anything before that will just be a false positive. But it was negative, and now I’m confused, did you ever try to test to early and got a false positive? I wonder it the trigger didn’t work since I didn’t get the false positive test results I was expecting.

Also anyone experiencing unusual mood swings after the trigger shot or on progesterone? I’m so sad and close to crying this entire week and it’s odd. I’m not a very emotional person in general and this feels a bit odd.

CarpeDiem75 · 15/08/2025 07:43

@AgnesTTCyep! it happened to me again this week this time I waited 14 days to test (16 days after trigger shot) got a “1-2pregnant” which I was surprised about because I had no symptoms at all! Anyway retested today so I am now 16dpo and got a “not pregnant” 😒 I am so fed up with these trigger shots! It seems my body takes ages to absorb it. I am a bit heartbroken as this time I really thought that was it as if you read everywhere they say that 14 days it is very unlikely to be a fake positive. I don’t think it is a chemical… but anyway I will retest in the morning to double check again and stop any treatment then. I am soooooo fed up 🫩

AgnesTTC · 17/08/2025 19:56

@CarpeDiem75 how did the retesting go? I’m a BFN this cycle. I’m very disappointed. This was the first cycle with CRP for me. But I really hoped that the infusion + steroids + aspirin would make a difference. We’ll see what happens next month. I’m giving myself till the end of their year. If it doesn’t happen by then I’m giving up.

CarpeDiem75 · 17/08/2025 21:13

@AgnesTTC it was a very strong bfn yesterday morning again so definetely another positive due to my trigger! I started bleeding even on the progesterone and right on time for my period so from now on I don’t test unless I miss my periods!
Do you have progesterone too after ovulation? How are your periods? My periods are soooo light I am worried now. I was going to do a letrozole cycle on my own but now I am worried that my lining is too thin 🫩
Nothing ever goes as planned!!!
That’s pretty much my deadline too as I will be 43 in the new year. Would you do ivf? I can’t afford it…well I probably could but to be worth it I would need to pay for the adds on and testing a and that I can’t afford! let’s cross our fingers we both fall pregnant this cycle 😊 I just dream of my life without this weight of wondering when or if this would ever happen….

AgnesTTC · 27/08/2025 21:21

@CarpeDiem75 hey, how is it going? I’m getting iron infusion this Friday. Somehow I managed to get anemia, so another cycle is delayed. Every month takes me closer to being 42…
I’m honestly thinking about IVF. Not sure, it’s a maybe for me, but dare I say it? If I go IVF I’m actually considering donor egg…? That would be kind of like adopting, partially? Husbands genes not mine, but I would get the pregnancy so the bonding would be the same? I’m trying to get my head around it, but it would completely solve the age issue…

AgnesTTC · 27/08/2025 21:22

@Rainbowchaser87 how is it going? Any news?

SunsetVibe · 02/09/2025 14:10

Dear all that have used this clinic, please can you confirm how long it took from your initial appointment and the appointment to discuss the results of the investigations?
And then from there to start the treatment?

After 4 miscarriages we are now considering this option, but would be good to have an idea of timelines to compare with potential timelines in the NHS (still on the waiting list).

Thanks in advance for any info on this ☺️

Meg310532 · 02/09/2025 17:21

@SunsetVibe saw them end of September got the results 2 weeks later and starter treatment the month after. Was pregnant in the January and carried my baby girl to 35 weeks where I unfortunately had a stillborn x
