Thought it was time for a new thread - we're almost out of room on the original one

O M MoFo G. B F P.

Woke up this morning early, needing a wee, so thought 'no time like the present'. After weeing, turned it over so I wouldn't be able to see it not appearing, girded my loins for the inevitable disappointment, but after 30 seconds big strong line.

I'm not a religious woman, but pray for me girls that this one lives.

How's this one for a crazy coincidence - last time I was pregnant, I got my BFP just before going on holiday to New York. Guess where I'm going on Wednesday - New York. Quick girls - all book holidays to the big apple!

Guess I'd better phone the Lister to cancel. Well, cancel this cycle at least. Who knows what's going to happen...

Hi! (It's EachPeachPearPlum)

Trying this name out for size, but I like the idea of continuing the fruit theme - thanks Gilly. Will maybe try some fruity names out later today and see what's free.

Herby - that's amazing news! Praying for you that it sticks.

Gilly well done for getting an offer accepted on a house in London! Can I ask where it is or would you rather not say? I used to live in London in my student days . Hope you get some good long-term tenants soon for your house in Newcastle.

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG - Many congratulations Herby.. Praying for you and this little one...

Gilly - sorry to hear about your trouble with your house in Newcastle and the IUI being delayed... Fingers crossed for your offer in London... XXXXX XXXXX
I have not started the down reg yet.. period has not arrived. Went to doctors yesterday and they did a blood test, so just waiting on results.

Love to everyone XX

AppleAndBlackberry · 21/10/2008 15:15

Hi - it's EachPeachPearPlum again - just trying another name. StrawberriesAndCream was taken but I quite like this one. Not as much as EachPeachPearPlum (has anyone read the book?) but never mind.

Hope your period comes soon Rah (feels really strange to say that to someone!)

RahRah1 · 21/10/2008 19:54

I like the name... Its a keeper!

kd73 · 21/10/2008 20:23

Herby - I am delighted, in fact jumping up and down, which is frankly not an attractive look!!! Fingers crossed and on behalf of all the ladies here, I will also cross my legs for you . Remember to rest lots and drink milk (old wives tale says that it makes the womb nice and fluffy for the egg!!!)

Gilly, sorry to hear about your letting problems. Whilst not wishing to endorse any particular Company, have you heard of Countrywide Property Management? They provide a lot of short term let properties to the Insurance Sector, you know the case when someones house burns down or gets flooded and emergency accomodation is required. Most properties are let on a minimum 6 month basis with rent upfront even if accomodation is required for less.

Bean is good with the bump getting increasingly large - sleeping is difficult, putting shoes and socks on a nightmare and tidying of the lady garden has been abandoned!!! I can't believe that its 9 wks to go, 4 wks to start of mat leave and simply that I am going to have a baby! I pray for more BFP on the thread (call me ungrateful) but I so hope that you guys all get to experience the joys of pregnancy.

RahRah1 · 22/10/2008 16:08

Hi all

I have some news.. again.. I got another BFP. My bloods came back yesterday and the levels are spot on for a new pregnancy so I'm 4 weeks and 6 days. I'm having them done again on Thursday so fingers crossed they have gone up.
It looks like I got pregnant straight after the M/C. I just can't believe it, after waiting to do IVF again. I'm having a scan in a couple of weeks too on the 4th Nov, I don't want to get ahead of myself, due to the last time but I'm more positive and on a heap of drugs.. grin .. I'm very nervous and scared, but this one must be a sticky one...

lots of love and best wishes to everyone
Rah Xxx

jess1996 · 22/10/2008 17:03

Congratulations to rah and herby.

Hope you all remember me. I used to post on this thread quite a lot at the beginning of the year and I often read it to see how you are all getting on.

I am 40+1 now and desperate to see my baby.

nomoremagnolia · 22/10/2008 19:24

wow congrats herby and rah looks like the thing to do to get bfp is to go for ivf but then not use it!! praying for stickers for you both xx

Sorry to interlope here, but just wanted to say
Rah - congrats, so pleased for you.
Herby - congrats to you too, even though I don't really "know" you, like I know rah, it is good news anyway.
Jess - hope you see baby soon.
Again, sorry to burst in here but a little birdy had told me rah's news and I came looking to read it for myself.

kd73 · 22/10/2008 20:21

Oh Rah, I am so pleased and will pray for you that this one sticks.

Oh Herb...

Feel quite emotional...

Haven't been even lurking here for a while as I kinda deserted to the Assisted Conception thread. But as I see a lot of very familiar names here I thought you wouldn't mind if I returned to announce my BFP . Unlike Rah I had to go through the IVF process, but it wasn't too bad - and well worth it!!

Congrats to Rah and Herby too.

And hi to Jess who I remember very well from my slightly too much mumsnet period - best of luck with that overdue baby .

AppleAndBlackberry · 23/10/2008 11:32

Such great news Rah!!! Praying for both you and Herby and fingers crossed for good blood tests results today.

Good to see you Nomore - how are you doing?

kd73 · 23/10/2008 13:52

Congratulations Rattling.... hope you are well!

No more - How are you?

Gilly - Hope Countrywide will be able to help you with the property let. Not used them personally but used them many, many times professionally as they tend to be assist most Insurers and Loss Adjusters providing National coverage.

RahRah1 · 24/10/2008 13:42
