5 days late, had slight blood the day after I was due when wiping then spend last night in tears as had some brown when I wiped.

woke up this morning and decided to test again as no actual period yet.

i did 3 tests 🙈 husband can see them too but says we should just stay calm and relax 😂 we’ve been ttc for over 10yrs so we’re both extremely cautious

Bloods would increase exponentially in a viable pregnancy.

However, if your last pregnancy was molar and you didn't pass all of it, that could muck up the results.

ThelastRolo20 · 05/08/2024 17:29

@TheShellBeach typically molar pregnancies come with very strong symptoms due to the rapidly rising HCG, and looking at @DoraBella88 I'd be tempted to say not a molar pregnancy 🙂

If you try EPU again you may get someone different, it really is hit and miss with who you speak to I find! X

Wow Dora, what a flipping rollercoaster! Hope you hear something soon x

DoraBella88 · 05/08/2024 17:34

That makes sense. I don’t know why, I don’t feel it’s a molar. I really do feel that at 5 weeks it was so early that it must of all passed. I saw the large bit of tissue which I’m assuming was the pregnancy. But obviously I’m no expert.

I’m leaning away from molar too. But obviously I’m no expert. I am pretty sure I ovulated too. And my digital test is saying 1-2 weeks which it said when I tested positive last month. But I just don’t know 😭

im going to try the doctors again tomorrow morning and go from there I guess

I'm no expert either but it seems you miscarried naturally which has a pretty high success rate, especially at the beginning so the likelihood is that everything passed especially given the ovulation symptoms you had.

I'm voting on the side of it being a new pregnancy 🙂 I know people do get retained product but again, that's quite often after medical management and you'd have other symptoms most likely like continued bleeding! I really have everything crossed for you xx

DoraBella88 · 05/08/2024 18:11

Thank you. I’m trying not to get my hopes up so currently behaving as if I am pregnant but not actually saying it. It’s odd though as last time the only symptom I had was a missed period and tiredness. This time my boobs are huge and tender, I feel bloated. Basically I feel like AF is coming 🙈 if my cycle returns to normal after the MC then I would be due on today / tomorrow. So was surprised to get the positive tests at the weekend with such a strong line

For what it’s worth, I think it’s a new pregnancy too!

Oh you’ve all made me cry again!!!! 😭

honestly I don’t think I would be coping the way I am without you all! I’ve read some of the comments on some of the threads here and some people can just be so cruel with their responses. Honestly you have all shown me nothing but kindness and support and you really don’t know how much that has helped me navigate these past few weeks. So I’m extremely greatful to all of you. Thank you so much!

I’ve just had a parcel turn up and my husband has brought me a new dress 🥰 I’ve been looking at dresses for an upcoming wedding and saw one I liked and he went and brought it for me 🥰 so that made me cry too.

yes takeaway sounds like a good plan! My husband works in agriculture and it’s his busy time of year with harvest, so hopefully he won’t be home too late tonight.

I will call my doctors again tomorrow and see if they can help me. The receptionist was so rude to me this morning that it put me off calling back. I don’t feel like I’m going to hear from EPU any time soon. It’s sad as I feel really let down by them.

You don't need to keep thanking us lovely, we want to be here and support you - we've all needed it before 🥰

Ah how amazing 😍 he very clearly loves the bones of you, so refreshing to see - especially on Mumsnet! You'll have to show off the dress when he gets home 🥰

Please please please don't let the receptionist put you off, some of them can be so bloody rude for no reason! You're a patient, it's their job to help you, not cause unnecessary upset. If it does happen again tomorrow, don't hesitate to log a complaint about it! Hopefully it goes a bit better for you though

2BabyOrNot2Baby · 05/08/2024 18:43

I also think this is a new pregnancy, just quietly cheering you on until you have proper answers and are able to comfortably celebrate x

❤️ thank you.

he’s pretty good, most of the time 😂 after 16yrs together we know each other inside and out. The only thing missing is our little baby. Hopefully on the cards very soon for us.

I will try and be stronger tomorrow. My doctors do e-appointment applications at 7am so I will get up early and get that filled in before the all go. I only need a phone appointment to either get sent for bloods or they will contact EPU again.

it’s such a shame as a previous receptionist I saw there was incredible, this one was just rude and made me feel like crap 🙈 but we will go again tomorrow 😬

@DoraBella88

I just found and read this whole thread tonight iv been through all your emotions! wow no wonder you're confused! I'm going with a new pregnancy too, I'll keep watching the thread though to find out Smile

DoraBella88 · 06/08/2024 07:16

Welcome aboard the crazy train 🤪

so I’ve successfully submitted my request for an e-consultation. So I will hear from the gp in the next 24 hours. I have requested blood tests to check hcg levels.

my internet cheapies turned up last night so obviously I had to POAS this morning. The pink dye are so faint 🙈 but I believe AF would have been due either yesterday or today. It’s just odd the clear blue are so dark…

Do you see what I see?
OP posts:
MrsKurz · 06/08/2024 07:27

Read through all of this, what a rollercoaster, I’m so sorry!

you’re doing all the right things contacting the GP and seeing if you can get bloods, I’m so sorry the EPU have been so unsupportive. We’ve experienced horrible medical negligence over the years regarding my dad, so it really makes me angry when people get dismissed/fobbed off.

there’s still definitely a line on that pink test! And pink and blue tests do behave differently so don’t read too much into it yet - unfortunately I think you’re in a bit of a wait and see period, which I can imagine is the hardest thing in the world for you right now!

Janey3090 · 06/08/2024 09:24

Hi OP, just joining this thread too to say good luck with the GP today! Hope they give you answers. I'm rooting for you so much! x

DoraBella88 · 06/08/2024 09:50

Thanks everyone. We will just have to wait and see I guess. I will keep you all posted.
I am feeling a bit down today I won’t lie. But work is busy so should be a good distraction

I came back to check on you OP! Glad you're able to keep yourself busy, (albeit with work) and I think you can already tell you've got so many people behind you. Good luck with your e-consultation.

Try not to read too much into darkness of lines, when I was pregnant with my first I didn't get a hint of a positive until my period was a week late. With yours being due yesterday/today, I'd say that's a great line. Be easy on yourself x

I've had spotting with both my pregnancies, it can be completely normal. I'm not sure what you do for work, but if it's possible, try to take things easy for the rest of the day. Is there someone at work you can speak to?
