5 days late, had slight blood the day after I was due when wiping then spend last night in tears as had some brown when I wiped.

woke up this morning and decided to test again as no actual period yet.

i did 3 tests 🙈 husband can see them too but says we should just stay calm and relax 😂 we’ve been ttc for over 10yrs so we’re both extremely cautious

There was no answer so assuming they are closed. I’ll call my gp first thing in the morning

Are they open on the BHL?

Oh that’s a shame but yes, they’re probably closed on a Sunday. I was able to call the EPU here directly rather than having to go through my GP - not sure if that’s the set up where you are but it might save you time rather than trying to get through to your GP?

Bank Holiday

That makes sense 😂 not too sure. It’s not BH here tomorrow thankfully.

My GP is actually really good so I should be able to at least speak with a doctor tomorrow.
honestly feeling so anxious today 🙈

Oh you will be - you’ve had such a knock in the last few weeks and it’s completely understandable that you’ll be feeling very anxious. The waiting is the worst part in all of this.

Good luck tomorrow - sending lots of positive wishes your way 🤞🙏🏻

DoraBella88 · 04/08/2024 18:02

@SirChenjins so true. I’m very lucky to have such a great supportive husband. Honestly he’s been keeping me calm and relaxed all day.

we will just have to see what tomorrow brings 🙈

Morning ladies.

obviously I just can’t stop POAS! Although I wish I hadn’t taken the Morrisons early detection test. It’s so faint!!!! This obviously panicked me a bit so i did another digital 🙈

woken up with a headache and feeling a bit sick, but think that’s my anxiety.

Do you see what I see?

DoraBella88 · 05/08/2024 08:11

Just called my GP and they’ve got sickness there so no appointments available 🙄 after raving about how good they were yesterday the receptionist was SO rude to me! so I think I’m going to call EPU shortly. I don’t know why but I’m so scared to call them.

the Morrisons test has really thrown me as it’s so so so faint. But the CB does look darker than yesterdays

SirChenjins · 05/08/2024 08:20

Try not to focus on the tests, they can show different results (I had this with one of my DC) and really throw you.

I hope the EPU can give you some answers. Make sure and give them all the information, including how long you’ve been trying, and fingers crossed they can see you soon. What a rollercoaster for you, my heart goes out to you.

Thank you @SirChenjins honestly the support from you all has been such a massive help and comfort. I don’t know what I’d do without you all.

Yes I will tell them everything. I’m hoping they can see me today as I’m not at work today and my job is difficult to get time off short notice, although my boss was incredible with the miscarriage. I will tell them how long we were trying and also mention they never called me when they were supposed to. I feel of id of had the call from them they would have told me to keep testing to make sure it went back to negative. This limbo land is stressing me out 🙈

Please call EPU, they should offer you a scan to check this is a new pregnancy and not retained tissue as standard (I am so sorry, I hate that phrase).

Sending you so much love and luck right now, what a rollercoaster you have been on recently; from trying for so long and then having two pregnancies one after the other. I am whispering quiet congratulations to you after seeing those tests, but please call EPU x

Thank you so much. Honestly what a rollercoaster these past 5 weeks have been!

I have just had a brief chat with EPU. They are getting a nurse to call me back within the next 24 hours. She said as I’ve called early I’ll hopefully get a call today 🤞

I've never had a baby, so I don't have any experience at all, but i have read all your posts and they are so genuine and full of emotion, I just wanted to say that I am keeping everything crossed for you and wish you the absolute very, very best. You sound so lovely.

Oh my gosh you’ve just made me cry 🙈
thank you so much for your very kind words. I wear my heart on my sleeve and I’m normally a very emotional anxious mess 🙈😂 so my head is all over the place right now lol.

honestly the comfort I have found from this site and you ladies has been amazing and I don’t know what I’d be like without you all.

thank you @Incakewetrust im crossing my fingers it’s today too

Keeping everything crossed for a phone call from the EPU today for you.

Mumsnet can be a brutal place at times but occasionally you find quiet little corners for support and a hand hold. I’m so glad this have been a comfort to you, you’re going through such a difficult time at the moment.

TheShellBeach · 05/08/2024 09:40

I had a lot of miscarriages myself @DoraBella88 and I know how terrible you're feeling. It's just a limbo not knowing what's happening, and panicking about all the possible outcomes.

I'm still keeping you and your husband very much in my prayers. I hope you get good news.

Mumoftwo2022 · 05/08/2024 09:48

@DoraBella88 please don't panic about the fainter one, I was getting the same result with early detections when I'd been getting solid lines on every other test I was using, and I know how scary that is, but you've had amazing results on the others!
Hopefully you get to speak to someone today and get to put your mind at ease a little, in the meantime, pop your favourite show or movie on, get your feet up and relax! You've had a whirlwind of a month, I think you've definitely earned a break x

DoraBella88 · 05/08/2024 11:57

Thank you. I’m currently curled up on the sofa with the cat 😂

it’s been a insane month! Just in disbelief at the situation I’m now in. Waiting for answers is rubbish

Oh OP what a time you are having! It's really easy to put a brave face/voice on when chatting to a healthcare professional so it might be worth writing down some notes of what to say. It's probably better to play up concerns that the tests are connected to the miscarriage rather than saying you think it's a new pregnancy.

You are not jinxing anything if it is a new pregnancy but you need answers and fast. Don't let them dismiss you
