TTC after Early Miscarriage part 3

It's so understandable. Even though I've never not ovulated, I'd worry each month that suddenly I wouldn't! TTC is not a relaxing process 😂

Can I join? I had a mmc last month (April 21st). Was only 5 weeks 6days so put down as a chemical pregnancy. As I had had a booking appointment the next day and was bleeding I was actually scanned and the loss confirmed. I was advised to test after a week to get a negative test which I did. We decided this month to back off and wait for a normal period before ttc again. I tracked ovulation and the tests show ovulation to have happened on the 9th May, but had a "double??" Ovulation happen and ovulated again around the 17th. AF is 4 days late and I'm getting faint lines on a cheapie pregnancy test. It does seem to be appearing quicker but not really stronger in colour and I think too faint for the ovulation that happened at 9th May and partner and I didn't ddd between 10th and 16th as we were away on holiday and then DH wasn't well. No idea what is going on. I'm worried it's another mmc again so I've sworn dh to secrecy and frantically testing every day in the hope the line gets stronger. With my mmc the line never got stronger, just faint every time and on cb never got above 1-2 weeks.

@Caffeineislife Did you only use tests to confirm ovulation?
Mind sharing how your pregnancy tests look?

Yes. I used ovulation test strips. We have been ttc for 8 months and the mw who confirmed mmc advised to continue using them to track ovulation as a mmc can change cycles. She did say as it was so early and all past naturally it shouldn't have too drastic a long term effect on cycles but there will be some change. I'll try and get some pictures when I get back from soft play with my oldest.

@Caffeineislife And did you get peak on may 9th or before that?

We are back from the soft play. Here are the pictures. Please excuse the bathroom.

Peak may 9th, but we ddd on 7th and 9th. Then had a second peak on the 17th. We ddd on 18th.

No real symptoms. No implantation bleeding, no sore boobs, no frequent wees. Last 2 pregnancys I had no implantation bleed with the first but did with the mmc. I had no symptoms until 6 weeks with DD. Needed to wee loads with mmc.

It's likely the 18th got you pregnant 😊 across how many days are the tests? They certainly look to be getting darker x

Is it ok to join the thread. 8 losses over the years . No rainbow yet. Would be nice to make some friends and connect with you wonderful ladies. We feel very alone still sometimes in this ttc journey

Taken on 21st, 22nd, 23rd 24th and this morning.

@Caffeineislife Okay so with peak on May 9th you most likely ovulated on the 10th or 11th. Not sure what the second surge was about but not ovulation as that would mean you got a positive at 3dpo which is impossible.
The tests do look like they’re progressing but not enough to say this is definitely a viable pregnancy.
My advice would be to try another test brand and only compare tests every 2 days done with FMU.

@Caffeineislife I did a quick google search and found that these do take a long time to progress and they’re only 25miu which is not that sensitive. Definitely get a different test.

I've nearly run out so will get some different ones. I usually just get the cheapies and then only a few more expensive ones if I get a positive. I usually ovulate around the 19th on a normal month. So I assumed the mmc changed my ovulation. I have no idea what's going on. I'm probably going to hold out on the testing now until Monday.

@CaffeineislifeI had a mmc at 10 weeks in February and I bled for 3 weeks and ovulated 2 days after bleeding stopped. Next cycles I ovulated day20, day12 and now day15, I used to mostly ovulated day13-14.

What are we thinking, possible implantation dip or normal fluctuation? I was thinking definitely not implantation as I had cramps last time and not this morning but I’m sitting here with a very strong cramp. Ever since my miscarriage I mainly feel cramps in my lower back and not in my uterus.

Sorry I’ve been missing the last few days, trying to take ax step back and relax this cycle. Currently CD10, ovulated cd 19 last cycle

Hey @Ncl31 totally get that. Its all consuming. Any signs of it approaching this week.

,@Caffeineislife don't rely on the cheapies when you see a line, I'd advise anyone once you have a positive with them to get a proper test as they take ages to get darker.

@emmatcc1 I don't know about implantation dip but it's well above your cover line so you are in with a good chance. Fingers crossed.

@Panda101x welcome. I'm sorry for your losses. That's a lot to deal with. I hope you have been refered to a loss clinic and not battling this on your own xxx

@Ella31 I'm OK, anxiety is through the roof, but I'm ok. Hopefully your peak isn't too far away, did you manage to dtd with the false peak?

Sorry to hear this. I know it's easier said than done but nothing you can or will do will effect this outcome. I hope your first appointment speeds up now
