Anyone want to join? I'm going insane!! I'm not sure whether it's because it will be our last chance to have a baby in 2024 or that this is our 5th cycle so if AF comes it then marks half a year of trying, but I'm struggling this cycle. Need distraction! Lol

@Louki35 hope you’re okay after your Grans funeral 💗

I finally started my period after my missed period on CD43- I did find peak ovulation 8 days before. Sad that it didn’t work out (was hoping that with the missed period that my uterus lining was thicker and gave me a better shot) but also very grateful that my period hasn’t gone AWOL. Although it is a lot lighter than I thought it would be…!

Its been a bit of tough weekend for me- sisters gender reveal yesterday and got my period the night before. Lots of pregnant women and babies. Just hope it’s our turn very soon.

how is everyone else doing?:)

So sorry you've had a tough weekend! But pleased AF came and into a new cycle. Hopefully things start to settle. Baby dust to you lovely

@ToeBeans24 That’s so amazing 🥹❤️

@MissEmily5 im so glad you finally got it! That was so long

@Louki35 i had that once mid cycle around ovulation time. I can’t remember if it means too much estrogen or not enough? But I never got pregnant on the cycles where I had mid cycle spotting, so I’m not sure. Also I’m really sorry ❤️ My thoughts are with you and your family

as for me, I’m feeling a lot better and more hopeful. Still lightly bleeding and lightly testing positive which is annoying but it hasn’t been 2 weeks yet since mc so I guess it can just take a while to go back to normal.

i have some fertility appointments coming up so that’s something to look forward to! My partner has some benefits with work, one of them is that they can cover some cost of IVF. I don’t think I need it as I can get pregnant, but partner and I did consider just using the benefit and trying it out. I’m interested in it cos they pretest the embryo and then choose the best egg, so might help with things like mc. But we’ll still be trying naturally in mean time x

Edited

Sorry it's dragging on! I definitely think the fertility appointments are something to focus on. Knowing you can get some support if you do need it might be exactly what you need to take the pressure off maybe? But I'm so pleased you're feeling better and more hopeful! 🤗

Hope the fertility checks give you something positive to work on @Plumchumm

Also good you got your period @MissEmily5 , now you can pinpoint everything! So hard to see others being pregnant, but hopefully it'll be you soon. Good luck this month 😊and to everyone else who is heading into a TWW.

Thinking of you all.

@ToeBeans24 , that's great you got a 3w+ on your test 🥰

Everything settled down with my period, Dr thinks it's the Citalopram which can cause blood thinning and cause all kind of issues. Coming off of it anyway, so that should make things settle.

Hope you feel ok coming off the tablets lovely. I was on sertraline after DD and I don't remember the side effects coming off, but DH is struggling and 6 weeks later he's not fully managed to come off them

@MissEmily5 im glad your period arrived so you’re no longer in that limbo place. Although it’s upsetting like you say at least you know where you now are in your cycle.

It’s natural to be upset with things pregnancy related. Believe it or not, and this is true, even me now with a bfp seeing heavily pregnant people I still think “I hope that’ll be me” as after a loss I’m so anxious.

But it will happen for you! And if it’s helpful at all I’ve had light periods for years. It worried me I would have difficulty conceiving but it hasn’t 🤍

How is everyone else doing? @Hopethisendswell did the period settle? @Ontheflipside_ have you booked the tests you mentioned?

I did my last CB digital today and got 3+ 🥹👶🏼🙏🏻

I'm all good thanks! 7dpo today but I said to DH after last month I needed a month 'off' so we actually only ended up having sex once in my fertile period. It was the day before my peak so I'm not holding any hope for bfp this month. And that's ok. Back full throttle next month 😉

Yes. I had my blood tests nearly 2 weeks ago but not heard back yet, so going to call tomorrow and see if they're back. I also have my ultrasound tomorrow morning which will be v interesting as I want to see what my lining is. Hopefully more than 7mm this time 🤞🏼

Hopethisendswell · 07/05/2024 22:47

Good luck for your ultrasound tomorrow @Ontheflipside_, hope there's a lovely thick lining for you to see xx

Ontheflipside_ · 08/05/2024 09:05

Not amazing news from my scan. Lining is still 7 on CD24 which the Dr described as 'not great- borderline thin'. She can tell I ovulated so the theory is, if my hormone levels come back fine then it's likely my tubes are blocked from instrumental birth last time. Could be blocked and hormone levels out of whack, but I won't know unless I get a hycosy. Which she says will need to be private

Just spoke to the Dr and my progesterone is low. The trifecta

sirensong · 08/05/2024 10:32

@Ontheflipside_ sorry about your results. Did they say how low? And offer any treatments?

sirensong · 08/05/2024 10:32

@Ontheflipside_ sorry about your results. Did they say how low? And offer any treatments?

No. I actually spoke to the receptionist not Dr. Who said everything was satisfactory apart from progesterone which was low and that the Dr would call me back to discuss next steps. I asked how low and she wouldn't tell me??

@Ontheflipside_ Do you have the NHS app? It will show all blood test results. Worth looking at the site Patients Know Best too. I could see my results the same evening as they were taken, before they were even loaded onto the NHS app.

Ontheflipside_ · 08/05/2024 10:56

@sirensong no I don't. I'll see if I can download it now. Thank you

Sorry guys, major tmi- but could this be implantation bleeding at 5dpo? Is that too early?

@Cherry85 I noticed last cycle that the NHS pregnancy page says implantation happens on day 5 or 6. I wonder if they intended to write it can happen as early as that, rather than as standard, given most sites say a bit later is usual. Seems possible anyway!

@Cherry85 I'm now 5DPO and just saw this.

@sirensong oooh interesting. I'm still the same today - trying not to get hopes up!

It's my birthday on Thursday....5 years ago it was also my birthday on the Thursday when I found out I was pregnant 🤣

sirensong · 09/05/2024 11:06

@Cherry85 Did you have implantation bleeding last time? I'm trying for my first so have no frame of reference. I didn't actually think implantation bleeding was that common but it seems to be for women on here.

ToeBeans24 · 09/05/2024 16:37

Sounds positive @Cherry85 @sirensong ! I didn’t get it with either of my pregnancies but I read about it a lot on here!

Cherry85 · 09/05/2024 17:18

I honestly can't remember. I was in Dublin on holiday last time so wasn't really concentrating and wasn't tempted to test as was not planning a sober weekend 🤣 so wanted until day after was due and tested then so I could plead ignorance.

Just had a look back on flo...last month I was watery discharge on 6dpo so quite different

sirensong · 09/05/2024 17:44

@ToeBeans24 do you know if your cervix stayed high before your BFP?

I saw a few sites say it doesn't lower if conception has happened but others have said it can lower and then go higher again later.

Asking because I can just about feel mine today after about a fortnight of it being unreachable...

ToeBeans24 · 09/05/2024 17:55

@sirensong for my chemical my cervix was definitely low but that may have been because I implanted late.

this time it seemed to come down then go back up. Difficult to say when that happened as not sure on my dates but I’d around 12 is when it went high again and that’s also when the creamy CM got heavier

Cherry85 · 10/05/2024 07:42

So I'm now 7dpo and 3rd day of spotting. Was pink 5dpo and now brown....so old blood and IF implantation bleeding it would have been 5dpo.

Apparently you can test 48 hours after ib....so tempted to try tomorrow at 8dpo.....although I might just be setting myself up for disappointment. I'm setting dpo off my predicted day on the app and didn't feel it or test so maybe happened early?

sirensong · 11/05/2024 09:08

@Cherry85 Which app are you using and what data is it basing its prediction on. Previous confirmed cycle dates?

Cherry85 · 11/05/2024 10:03

I've always used Flow and period predictions have always spot on to the day based on previous cycles

sirensong · 11/05/2024 10:32

@Cherry85 have you ever tracked LH too? I'd say you could definitely have ovulated earlier than expected anyway, apps are just a prediction and it's not always exactly halfway through a cycle. How long are your cycles?

Plumchumm · 12/05/2024 03:59

Very confused what is going on
top test was a week ago at 5 weeks.
second test I took on Friday where I would be 6 weeks

im still bleeding, though it’s been light and some days just spotting. I haven’t even thought about testing because I accepted I’m miscarrying and I only tested because I want to know if the hcg has fully left my system yet and if I can start opk tests again

then I got this darker line. I get that hcg can stick around for a while when you’re miscarrying but why would it get darker???

I called the clinic about it and they just don’t believe me but have booked me in for a beta test. I’m so confused. Sometimes it’s faint sometimes not so faint, but never this dark.

still seems too light for 6 weeks though if it was viable. Also I have 0 symptoms.
