Anyone want to join? I'm going insane!! I'm not sure whether it's because it will be our last chance to have a baby in 2024 or that this is our 5th cycle so if AF comes it then marks half a year of trying, but I'm struggling this cycle. Need distraction! Lol

Urgh I'm full on torturing myself. Did a FR test this morning(10dpo) and its negative.... had resigned myself to the fact its probably not worked this month.

Then been nauseous all day, sore boobs, had a sharp pain that lasted 2-3 seconds and cramps the rest of the day..... could implantation happy that late?

for my CP I didn’t test positive until 14dpo and had a stark white negative at 12dpo. Thought I was out due to cramps just like AF was coming. Think I implanted at 11dpo based on the AF like cramps and negative test the day after. Good luck x

Having a bit of a wobble...so desperate to be pregnant 😫 but if I'm not we won't TTC - just realised this could be my very last hope of having a baby 😭so sad if it's negative tomorrow or AF starts. I've desperately avoided getting pregnant all these years and now that's all I want.

Think I am this month sadly @Hopethisendswell as no similar cramps. Was referring to the month was did conceive 😢

Yeah...had a big chat about it and, accidents aside (which we will be much more careful about now!), we aren't TTC. We had children fairly young, and missed out on travelling to far flung areas and enjoying life together, we have so many plans including downsizing and doing volunteer work together. We both love our jobs and even though we would juggle everything and travel with our bigger family, in my heart of hearts I know it'll be so much harder being older.
We would love a surprise baby, but I know part of me would grieve putting those plans to one side. Sounds so selfish writing it down 😔 but on the flip side I'd be so sad to have missed this chance, even DH agreed. How can we want two opposites so badly?
Maybe we need a bit more time to think about the options.

@Hopethisendswell i don’t think it sounds selfish at all. It is one of those things I guess that may need a further discussion. Perhaps after this cycle (depending on the outcome). I guess you’ll know how you feel when / if AF shows x

@Hopethisendswell bless you, I don’t think it’s selfish at all, it sounds like you have two different versions of life in your head and both have there pros and cons but over all they’re both lovely. Whatever happens, I hope you’re okay 💗

I have been so nervous all day- I’m meant to have started my period today (12dpo). I’ve been spotting brown since last Sunday so for 8 days but it seems like it’s slowed down now but I’m so afraid that AF is going to come with a vengeance tonight or tomorrow or the next day… I’m on CD29 and the longest cycle I’ve ever had is CD31 so I’m going to wait for CD32 to test if my period has not come by then. I have some very mild cramps and nausea but I have pretty much had mild cramps on and off all week.

I really, really, really don’t want to get my hopes up as I’ve been pretty realistic this TWW as I never received a peak OPK but with this I can’t help it, I’ll be so crushed if it’s a BFN and just simply a late pretty or god forbid if my period has just gone AWOL.

Ah, @MissEmily5 that's so hard, you've done so well keeping it realistic and staying calm! I hope the fact it's been a strange week is a positive thing 🥰. I have my fingers crossed for you, and sending lots of baby dust xxx

Thanks @MissEmily5 AF isn’t actually here for me yet. I’ve just given up hope after a bfn at 12dpo (even tho I didn’t get a positive until 14dpo last time and a stark white bfn at 12dpo…) but as that ended in a CP I loose hope if I don’t have a positive by 12dpo.

I hope all your signs are positive and I’m glad the spotting has slowed.

Hugs to everyone, the mood in this thread is so different to a week or so ago, ttc can be cruel 💕

I managed to convince myself for a day that my bleeding was implantation. Nah pretty sure it's a period now. Still annoyed that it arrived at 10dpo but given that it didn't arrive at all last time and I had a 49 day cycle it's kind of a relief to do a proper reset and know where I am.

Sorry @YorkshirePeridot but glad it’s reset for you! Hopefully it’s back in its normal pattern now x

BFN this morning, definitely expecting AF tonight or tomorrow as I have a headache and just want to eat (actually that could just be normal for me!)

I started spotting today (14dpo) but it's stopped now, sore boobs, sick and bloaty, but that's just what I expect before AF so who knows! A bit late for implantation?

@ToeBeans24 oh sorry, I must have read that wrong- still no period? I know it feels hopeless but there is still a chance, even if it’s a small one. Fingers crossed for you ✨

@Hopethisendswell bless you, are you definitely sure it’s 14dpo since you didn’t test for ovulation? What colour is your spotting?

I gave in and tested today- but not with FMU and after a 3hr hold and of course it was a BFN. Spotting has really slowed down, just very, very light brown spotting and only when wiping really. I’m just a bag of nerves, I’m nervous for AF arriving and I don’t know if it’s that which is making me feel sick 🙈

I guess as I based it on cramps and CM there's a chance it wasn't 14 days ago...I got my usual post ovulation headache 4 days later, which usually happens the day after cramps, but didn'tthis time...based on that it could be anywhere between 9-14dpo 😳? Browny pink, only when wiping, and creamy CM.

@MissEmily5 do you still have pms symptoms while spotting? Like sore boobs? Etc

@Plumchumm sore boobs stopped at CD18, they were really sore at CD15 through to CD17, was hoping it was a sign of ovulation though! I’ve come down with a slight chesty cough and feeling generally run down this past week, as well as really tired but waking up at silly times in the morning, loss of appetite and feeling very nauseous. I get twinges of cramps but not too bad, and that’s about it, along with the spotting of course…

Aw I see. Very strange. I would have thought the spotting was implantation but if it was, you’d definitely be getting a positive test by now as it’s been many days. When I had implantation spotting, I tested 4 days after and I had already started having frequent peeing and still had sore boobs. I drank so much water to take the test and didn’t hold it and it was still positive. So I think 8 days of spotting, the concentration wouldn’t be affecting it that much.

if you had progesterone tests you’d have been able to check if you are in fact in your luteal phase. Or maybe BBT tracking? It might be that you didn’t actually ovulate and you may be having mid cycle spotting due to low/high estrogen. I’ve had that before.

@Plumchumm I would have thought so too, but it’s still early I guess (hoping 😂), some people don’t get BFP till the 14dpos are up. Plus, I have a little bit of niggling hope just because of my sister; she had a very light period over quite a few days and it turns out it was implantation bleeding but she didn’t get a BFP till weeks later (although she stopped testing after a couple of BFN and one was on 15dpo) soo I can’t help but hope I’m the same! Probably not though 🙈

I messaged my GP requesting a progesterone test and have been told they’ll get back to me within 4 weeks for an appointment 🤦🏻‍♀️ I tried BBT and managed a month but it was sooo stressful as I wake quite regularly throughout the night and wake at different times.
I bet it’s something like that- I really hope not, I feel like we already have quite a few challenges to overcome (thin uterus lining and low sperm count) as it is 🙈

I guess only time will tell but I hope it’s something positive as it’s so unusual for me but thank you for your honesty, I really appreciate it xx

@Hopethisendswell aw thank you! Still very early i suppose. I can’t believe that after tracking this cycle how exact same PMS is to O symptoms, my cramping stopped that I was getting so I’m left in limbo. 🫧😊🤍

Another BFN here, but spotting is bright red now, so fully expecting to see AF this evening.
