Anyone want to join? I'm going insane!! I'm not sure whether it's because it will be our last chance to have a baby in 2024 or that this is our 5th cycle so if AF comes it then marks half a year of trying, but I'm struggling this cycle. Need distraction! Lol

Thank you! Changing roles, it’s actually a 12 week paid internship for a completely diff industry.. I usually work with kids but this will be a more tech focused role. Thought it would be a nice change, and better pay xx

@Plumchumm no, but it may change your decisions re jobs. I was made redundant 2 weeks after getting pregnant last time and wouldn't have been eligible for mat pay if I got a new job as wouldn't have been there long enough.... so just worth checking before you change jobs if you are relying on it x

Thanks for the hope @Plumchumm that would be a wonderful if that was a similar situation- I’ve not been cramping really and I’m soo ill still! Hoping it’s a good sign but if not I think I’ve come to terms with it (I think 😅) so sorry about your situation though, sounds like a really tricky time.

Oh dear- I think my period is probably coming, pretty much as soon as I wrote that last message I’ve started getting some mild cramps. Bloody typical 😅

@Cherry85 out of curiosity, are you in Scotland? I’m in Scotland it I think it doesn’t matter how long you’re at a job here, maternity pay still applies. I was reading up on nhs Scotland stuff as if I’m actually pregnant 😂 watch me get my period early

Oh hun I’m sorry, it’s normal to feel that way. I do too after my early loss in August. But many women have had chemicals and mc and still gone on to have beautiful healthy children. You will be able to be one of them ❤️ enjoy your time out with the girls, you deserve it

I think for a lot of us, we will feel extra sad this month if it doesn't work because our due date would be December. So it takes us into 2025.

Really hoping to see more bfps this month still. It's not over until the fat lady sings 🤞🏼🤞🏼

@Plumchumm yeah I'm scotland. You get a thing called maternity allowance you get instead if not getting smp- there's a calculator that let's you know what you would get based on job dates - worth checking out as it also tells you what you get per month on smp based on earnings too.

@Ontheflipside_ I totally get how you’re feeling lovely 😔 I woke up today at 10dpo, and got a BFN and it was using a First Response (so highly doubtful of getting a BFP now) and with FMU.
All this spotting all the way from 4dpo which has not stopped since is driving me absolutely crazy! Either let me start my period properly or give me that BFP!!
I had a friend round last night who has been TTC for over a year and has just found out she and OH need IVF because of problems with both of them, so we had a real good rant, cry and whinge!
please take care of yourself, I know it’s fought when you feel like shit and need to pretend to be happy- do your friends know what you’re going through?

@HHopethisendswell I love this also!! My app says I'm due on Sunday/Monday and Monday is 15th which is an angel number that signifies 'new beginnings' so I truly believe if AF comes it's the start of my BFP 🫶🏼
@MissEmily5 aww hun that's so frustrating. I'm sorry! You never know though! Stranger things have happened. There's every chance still! Aww your poor friend. Hopefully she's eligible on the NHS? Yes, I have a great group of women around me but they all conceived their second babies pretty quickly and in fact have already had them!! So as lovely as they are, it feels like they don't really 'get it'
