@Onthedouble123 I'm sorry for your loss, it must be really tough when it’s taken a while to conceive.

We’ve been trying for baby number too for nearly 2 years now and had 4 losses along the way - glad your hertility came back good. I’m tempted to try that next.

@ToeBeans24 welcome, I’m sorry for your loss - it’s a really difficult time, hopefully this group can provide some support. Be gentle with yourself x

Blueskies4 · 01/03/2024 06:53

@Westy22 congratulations, hoping this is a sticky one for you x

@Claudiasaz I’m sorry you’re out this month, it’s so so disappointing - I had a couple of months last year where I felt super down about it. I could’t blame you for taking a break, sometimes good to take stock. We had a forced 4 month break last year so the nhs could run tests and honestly it was refreshing after 3 MC I instantly felt the pressure release.

The 2ww is particularly hard. I’m currently about 7DPO and thought I was chill this month but I’ve just yesterday started the boob prodding 😂 sending love ladies x

mlruirod · 01/03/2024 07:47

@Blueskies4 thank you for the advice, I'll look into acupuncture. At this point, I'm trying everything I can to I crease the chances to conceive. Where you in your journey at the moment, if you don't mind me asking?

ThelastRolo20 · 01/03/2024 07:47

Hi everyone, been trying to keep up! @Westy22 congratulations x @Claudiasaz sorry you're out, such a rollercoaster isn't it. Welcome to all the newcomers but also sorry that you're here after a loss x

ThelastRolo20 · 01/03/2024 07:50

@mlruirod loss can really knock you but I hope the next part of your journey brings you your rainbow x

I'm on a break until April/ may. Somehow it's still tell months away, I think it's been two months away for about two months already 😂

mlruirod · 01/03/2024 07:52

@Ella31 I try to hlget distracted but it's so hard sometimes. But it'll help now that the weather getting nicer and the days brighter 😊 at least I'm starting to feel like doing more things outside. I read you had a late miscarriage. I'm so sorry, I can't even imagine how that must have felt. How long ago was it?

😂 I know, having to wait is the worst! I've been counting days down since we agreed with the doctor what date to start IV, which was a month ago, and it seems it's been so long ago. Did you have a recent MC that's why you're on a break? How's your journey been so far?

ThelastRolo20 · 01/03/2024 08:27

@mlruirod it's horrible but I keep telling myself time can only go one way 😂

I had a MMC at 12 weeks in October , got pregnant in November and then had another MMC in January 🤦‍♀️ I do have a loving child, she's just turned 2 so very grateful but really want one more! Her pregnancy was so straight forward it's taken me by surprise. By my period came back exactly 4 weeks after my MVA so hopeful that my cycle will go back to normal quickly.

We're on holiday in April hence the break ❤️

ThelastRolo20 · 01/03/2024 08:31

My god my phone is autocorrecting constantly! She is very loving but meant to say living 😂

I'm sorry you had to go through 2 MC. My friend was in the same situation, a very straight forward pregnancy but then struggled with her second child, but in the end she got pregnant when less expected, I think she actually was on holiday when it happened! I hope you have an amazing holiday time and come back with a nice surprise too 💜

Not a miscarriage, I had an emergency c section and my first twin was stillborn. And his twin brother survived 4 days in nicu but passed away at 4 days old. It was in early November. I was nearly 30 weeks. So stillborn and neonatal death unfortunately. Its definitely really tough. Our nursery was completed and we were 6 weeks away from planned delivery. Plus the funeral was just horrific. Hardest part was mourning one baby whilst the other was fighting to survive in nicu but it gives me comfort that they are together now.

The days getting longer will definitely help. Getting out for walks will be a good distraction. You will get there.

@ThelastRolo20 April will hit you when you least expect it. It's March already. Time is flying. How have you been?

ThelastRolo20 · 01/03/2024 09:14

@mlruirod thank you! I'm pretty hopeful it'll work out for me, it's just time and my closest friends are pregnant which is difficult. It's nice to hear similar stories to mine so thank you X

Ah well the joys of my very regular cycles is that my period will likely start the day we fly out 😂 ovulation week holiday would have been ideal but there we are

Claudiasaz · 01/03/2024 09:16

@Ella31 started spotting at 10dpo.... But have a 30 day cycle usually

Claudiasaz · 01/03/2024 09:16

I'm considering going for further tests perhaps as I can't see how everything is normal and I've always conceived so easily and had none of these issues before. X

I think anything that puts your mind at ease is a positive thing so I see no issue in you doing that. I'd hazard a guess though that the trauma and stress from mc plays a factor and ironically despite being told to relax, it's just makes it worse. How do you relax when you want something so much.

I'm still crossing fingers and toes for you xx

Claudiasaz · 01/03/2024 09:27

@Ella31 yes could be right, I guess I'll have that break and see! Feels a bit less pressured now I just won't have a baby when the due date comes. If that makes sense!

Oh no it's definitely my period. I've spotted when pregnant before but the aches are different they're definitely the period kind 😂I'm honestly okay about it this month, thank you though. Hope your tww is going well xx

And thanks other ladies for your messages too really appreciate it xx

Claudiasaz · 01/03/2024 09:31

@Onthedouble123 @mlruirod I'm sorry about your losses. Its really nice to have this group to chat to and be honest about how crappy things can feel at times x

Surpassing that due date will be a huge milestone for you and relief. Right now it's like a heavy burden on you isn't it? On that day, you need to do something fun. Head out , bit of lunch, shopping, or something after work.

ThelastRolo20 · 01/03/2024 11:31

@Claudiasaz I know what you mean about the due date. Now I know I won't be pregnant by then it takes the pressure off a little bit ❤️

Figtree11 · 01/03/2024 13:58

Hi ladies, haven’t been on this thread in a little while.
I was feeling in a better head space, just going with the flow.
But it’s been 6 weeks now since my last period. Was trying to kid myself that perhaps I could be pregnant, and so lived in fantasy land for a week or 2.

But I caved & did a test today & it’s negative.
I’m so frustrated that nothing is happening.
I know a couple of people who have had miscarriages, and how long it took them to get pregnant again after. So I’ve been comparing myself to them, and now I’ve surpassed them.

This is all just so rubbish. I should be coming up to 6 months pregnant. Just want to scream.

Sending love to you all on this depressing journey that is TTC after loss

ThelastRolo20 · 01/03/2024 14:27

@Figtree11 I've been there this week. Felt utterly rubbish about it all and came to a bit of a head yesterday - all I could think was that I should be 7 months pregnant and I'm not - it's just utterly unfair ❤️

I hope your AF shows soon so you can move onto the next cycle x

ToeBeans24 · 01/03/2024 14:43

Hiya. I'm just wondering how everyone's ovulation was after their early MCs?

I'm currently day 11. Usually ov day 13-14 but expecting it to be delayed. Negative OPKs so far.

I'm planning on testing daily to get an idea of high and peak range so I know when to DTD and when the 2WW starts!

Just wondered what you all have found as I've read some ovd earlier but most were delayed. When do you think I'll start to see my CB digital show high fertility?

TIA x

Figtree11 · 01/03/2024 14:45

Thank you @ThelastRolo20 im sorry you are in this position, but it does help speaking to people in similar situations. It’s such a horrible feeling x

@ToeBeans24 it took me about 6 weeks to ovulate after my MC.
Sorry to hear about yours. How many weeks were you? I was 10 weeks, which might be why it took a long time to start up again
