@Holl89 good luck for your scan I understand the anxiety!

@mumsince2021 all my fingers are crossed for you I was the same with the line progression but I stopped once I got a 3+ on a digital.

I went for a private scan on Sunday and seen a healthy bean measuring 10w Iv been really emotional since as I think I hadn’t allowed myself to accept it is really happening. I hope everyone gets their positives soon.

@Claudiasaz no symptoms so far but todays test was a little bit darker so not too worries... yet! I'm doing the cheap test every other morning 🤦‍♀️ can't help it need to see the progression as lack of progression always shows me the loss is incoming. I think it's easier to take when you have an inkling with the tests days in advance. The BV gel was just from Amazon brand 'Balance Activ' honestly no idea if it works but I would make sure you only start it after ovulation as putting it in while TTC is not recommended. You want it done before AF but not at a time it might hinder your current attempt TTC.

@Ella31 don't think BBT has to be at the exact same time every morning it's more about the disrupted sleep which can impact readings. I also used to lay still with my mouth closed for a minute when I woke back when I tracked it and then popped it under my tongue to measure.. potentially having been sleeping with the mouth open can impact the readings so that's why 😅 inserting vaginally would possibly be more accurate to avoid those disruptions but I never had to try that.

Loads of info I'm learning , and should your reading be the same every day or climbing higher. Mine is higher today

Blueskies4 · 19/02/2024 18:46

@Cat2022 that's lovely news about your scan 💫

@Groundhoghcg welcome, so sorry to hear of your losses. Have you taken steroids with a previous pregnancy or is the raised NKcells a newer thing? Hoping a BFP comes your way soon x

Groundhoghcg · 19/02/2024 22:23

Thank you for the welcome everyone ❤️ I have not learnt my lesson from my 7dpo bfn and will be naturally testing tomorrow 🙃

@Panda101x recurrent loss is its own world of shit! I think this has to be my last attempt, I can't face the idea of a 10th pregnancy 🫠Where are you in your cycle?

@Blueskies4 yeah the steroids are new. Blood NK cell testing and prednisolone is pretty controversial and Tommy’s and most NHS clinics (outside of Dr Shehata's St Helier clinic) say there isn't the evidence base for it.. but lots of women do seem to get results and honestly I just want to tell my DS when he's older that I tried everything to give him a sibling.

Ella31 · 19/02/2024 22:40

Ladies I'm a little excited. Got the flashing smiley on my clear blue today and some egg white cm so hopefully ovulating in the next few days. Fingers crossed for this month 🥰😀

Lovely cat congratulations.

Holly best of luck with yours x

Claudiasaz · 20/02/2024 09:04

@Ella31 yay it's coming! Are you still trying out the smep too?

I'm now regretting no OPK's as I don't know if I've o or not 🤣😭 My cm looks a tiny bit thicker but haven't had my usual cramps. I have cramps now which usually means I o later today. I guess I'll do it for a few days in a row now just in case. There is a positive in not knowing though... I don't really know when the tww starts so can't get the anxiety until about a week in LOL. I'll probably have to come off here during the tww as it seems ANYTHING triggers me and seeing others symptom spot will make me do it too.. so if I go quiet I've ovulated 😂

@Claudiasaz Don't for a second regret it. You are doing exactly what you need to do for you in order to get through this month so fair play for sticking to it. If you are dtd regularly, you are in with the same chance as anyone.

I am doing smep. Find it good. Did it last month too but last month I was terribly anxious and we had a lot going on with the boys. I feel lighter this cycle and ready to hope again.

RaisingCornishWildlings · 20/02/2024 12:22

@Holl89 good luck for your scan!

@Cat2022 such great news things are progressing well for you.

I'm on CD8, and this cycle I'm out as hubby away - so just gonna focus on me, try to eat healthy, get some good exercise in and try not to go too crazy dealing with 3 kids on my own 🤣

However I feel really below par at the moment- I guess I'm fighting some virus or other the kids have generously shared with me!

I've got a banging headache and felt slightly nauseous earlier, so whatever lurgy I have I hope it buggers off soon!

It'll be interesting to see what my cycle is like as I had some egg white cm already today which seems ever so early for me!

@Ella31 you're right, thank you! Sounds like you're in a good place too.

@RaisingCornishWildlings you sound way happier too! Which is great. May be nice to enjoy a month without the tww 😂

Yeah not too bad. I think I can be very up and down. Already noticed today that I'm feeling negative about this cycle this evening and I haven't even ovulated yet so heading out for a walk with the dh to snap out of it.

Hi everyone!

I have a scan in EPU on Wednesday.. I’ll be 6 weeks 6 days. Absolutely terrified 🥺🥺🥺

Good luck tomorrow, let's us know how you get on.

Claudiasaz · 20/02/2024 20:28

@Ella31 Aw I'm sorry. I actually am having a bit of that today too. I guess it is a bit of a protection thing too maybe, as it's so hard when it doesn't happen and the period comes? But it has to happen one month so why not this one. ( Telling myself that too). Hugs x

What are we like 🤣🤣 i was looking at baby stuff on next last night when i couldnt sleep. Ive a full nursery of brand new boy clothes just waiting to be used but I'm convinced I'll have a girl next time - I'd be happy either way though.

Claudiasaz · 20/02/2024 23:37

@Ella31 I know it's cliche but I swear it's my hormones that get me 😂 Are you feeling any better after venturing out?

Better 🤣 going for lunch today. Pretty sure I've doubled in size since my loss. All I'm doing is lunch dates 🤣 how are you today?

bluebunny2 · 21/02/2024 14:18

Hi everyone and welcome to all the new names, sorry you have to be here but it’s a great group. I’ve been quiet recently as I was convinced nothing was happening this month but im now on CD32. The last time I had a cycle this long was when my periods restarted after having my daughter in 2021. No strong symptoms although I’ve had a bit of intermittent backache and have no noticeable cramps. Too scared to test yet as I’d rather my period just started than see a negative.

ThelastRolo20 · 21/02/2024 18:09

Hey everyone, sorry I've been a bit quiet I was having a rubbish few days between hormones and this bloody virus I can't shift, it's been three weeks now.

On a slight positive AF arrived 4 weeks post surgery today, so I'm hoping that means my cycles will go back to normal quickly, on the flip side it means AF will arrive the day we go on holiday in April....typical

Blueskies4 · 21/02/2024 19:54

@ThelastRolo20 that’s shit luck with the AF timing, extra cocktails for you!

@Groundhoghcg yeah I totally get that.. we’re the same and I think reproductive immunology may be our final crack of the whip but we’ll see.. I’ve asked to be referred to Tommys so I’m hoping they may look into NKC

Wondering If you ladies have experienced this before… I’m CD11 and have just had a positive OV test, got pain tonight, but no EWCM which I usually do get!? Hoping I am ovulating and wishing I’d tracked temp now!

ThelastRolo20 · 21/02/2024 20:01

@Blueskies4 I don't always get EWCM, i do most of the time but I did conceive on a month I could have sworn I had none!

Just use the right lube 😂

Bfn here at 10dpo on my 3rd cycle after my last mmc. I feel so gutted, lots is going on for me right now and I really needed some good news 😔 I know 3 cycles is nothing really but I've been trying for this baby for 2.5 years and I just want the wait to be over.

@Blueskies4 I've definitely had ovulation without EWCM, and EWCM without ovulation.

I saw Tommy’s through their implantation clinic, it's not NHS but is patient funded as opposed to private, I think it was £250 for a consultation and then £500 for the biopsy they recommended. From the biopsy they can offer prednisolone for high uterine NK cells or experimental stigaliptin to improve uterine stem cells. Uterine NK is totally different to blood NK (my uNKs are low vs. high blood NKs) and the Tommy’s medics disagree with the private clinics about which to test 🤯

The stigaliptin is meant to stop bad embryos implanting.. I think. I had a chromosomal loss after the stigaliptin in October and haven't got pregnant since so.. maybe it's working?? 🙃

@Panda101x No squinting there, tentative congratulations ❤️
