@Ella31 I am just trying to do it as much as possible and relax. I am obsessive as a person about these things so I need to let go this month for my own peace 😂

You are so right. I wish I had your strength. I'm ridiculously obsessed as well.

Claudiasaz · 15/02/2024 16:57

@Ella31 my husband said why don't you just do less..I explained to him it's an all or nothing situation with opk😂

Blueskies4 · 15/02/2024 17:28

Welcome to all the new ladies, I’m sorry for your losses.

Popped on because I saw a quote today that really made me feel lighter and wanted to share;

“Just because it’s taking time doesn’t mean it’s not happening”

Hope you’re all doing ok x

Cat2022 · 15/02/2024 19:36

Hi ladies I hope you don’t mind me dropping back in I have been checking occasionally to see if anyone has had positive news as yous were a big part in me getting through my MC. I’m sorry it is taking a while and for the new joiners sorry for all of your losses. I will be 10 weeks tomorrow, I have avoided private scans so another couple of weeks to wait and see, the anxiety is high but remaining hopeful. I hope you get your BFP’s soon.

I love that quote @Blueskies4 , I'll also add that when we are gifted the babies to come , we'll be ever so grateful to have them.

I love my husband too, @Claudiasaz but he is definitely amused by all my testing

Figtree11 · 15/02/2024 21:02

Welcome to the new ladies in this group. I’m sorry that you’ve found yourself here.

Today I am cycle day 29 on my first proper cycle since my MMC in November. Not a hint of a BFP or a period in sight. It is really starting to get me down

emmatcc1 · 15/02/2024 23:22

Did any of you track bbt during/right after a mc. I’m 8 days past mc and my bbt is sitting a bit too high, not enough to indicate ovulation has happened but still too high for pre ovulation.

Would it be high due to pregnancy hormones from mc @emmatcc1 , 8 days is so early past mc. I still had positives on my pregnancy tests after mine.

emmatcc1 · 16/02/2024 00:37

@Ella31 I’m pretty sure it’s progesterone that keeps bbt high and my nipples have stopped hurting days ago which means my progesterone has dropped to normal levels. I’ll see what my temp will be in the morning.

Hi ladies
I hope you're all doing okay.
I'm just wondering when you got negative hcg tests and when symptoms went?
I had surgical management 8 days ago and I was just before 10w when it stopped growing. I still had strong symptoms prior to finding out. My nausea has settled but my boobs are still so sore and still look different. I'm also exhausted and have intermittent weird stomach cramps (not even in the uterus region). I just want to feel back to normal and feel like it's all over.

im so sorry I lost one at 10 w took me a month and few days till I showed negative again on a home test . :(

Rosyposy26 · 16/02/2024 09:49

mine was complete. I was still being sick for 3 days afterwards and boobs stopped being sore before I miscarried. I tested negative 5 days afterwards and also ovulated this month. So we started trying again.

sending you a big hug it was heartbreaking having symptoms but knowing nothing was there.

The cramps are probably your uterus getting back to normal and decreasing in size. I had that after my mc and also after my emergency section.

It took about 3 weeks for all mine hgt to drop, @TeapotRo and that includes early loss - 8 weeks and a chemical. And weirdly enough 2 weeks after emergency c section. But I think the hormones plummet after birth. It really can vary. In my early losses

Ovulation took longer to return

  • the first mc at 8 weeks I got my ovulation back in 5 weeks,
  • second miscarriage - chemical it took 9 weeks
  • after birth 29 weeks - 7 weeks

Do give yourself time for things to return properly as they will. Your body is just healing. I've been very obsessive about this and I'm just coming around to the fact that our bodies have been through so much

TeapotRo · 16/02/2024 10:16

Thanks all, it's so helpful to hear about your experiences and I'm so sorry for all your losses. I guess I need to be more patient waiting for everything to settle down again

mumsince2021 · 16/02/2024 10:57

Hey all sorry I've been so absent here I've just finished jury duty it was a case with 13 charges of rape and sexual assault 😬 but finally free. My mum bought me a bottle of wine for this weekend as a treat after all the stress of it so I used a cheap a test this morning just to be sure I'm good to drink and there's actually a faint line! I'm absolutely not getting excited though as I've had 3 miscarriages and only 1 successful pregnancy so I'm not confident this will be successfully at all. But typical the time where I'm not even thinking about TTC much as I've been stressed with this jury duty all week!

@Cat2022 glad to hear you are doing well

I'm sorry to see there's been more ladies joining in a way due to more people suffering losses but it's also good there's still a group of ladies here to support each other. I'll keep you all posted on how the coming days/weeks go as I said it's not in my favour given the results in the past.

Blueskies4 · 16/02/2024 19:04

@mumsince2021 that sounds like an awful case. Gentle congratulations though on the positive test, hope there’s something alcohol free you can grab to help you wind down tonight x

@TeapotRo I seem to remember I was about 3 weeks after surgical management that my cycle returned x

Am2019 · 16/02/2024 19:57

Hi ladies hope you don't mind if I join 👋
TTC baby #2, our first was IVF born march 2021 after unexplained fertility, then Dec 2022 we naturally fell pregnant which was an amazing surprise but then had a MMC the day before our 12 week scan. We went back for another round of IVF in July last year that didn't work.
Trying naturally again for a bit but 6 months down the line and nothing happening yet...hoping for our BFP really soon! ✨

Claudiasaz · 16/02/2024 23:01

@mumsince2021 OMG! Yes! This is amazing. Everything crossed for you! 💓☺️

@Am2019 sorry about your loss. You'll be in good company here!

@TeapotRo It's so tough. I can't remember symptoms and things. I still had sickness for a few days for sure as I absolutely couldn't cope with that. I did test positive over the 3 weeks they say, so had to go back to check for retained but scan was clear. Sending love x

Claudiasaz · 16/02/2024 23:02

Aw @Cat2022 Hope you're doing well? Good luck with the scan I'm sure everything will be perfect☺️xx

RaisingCornishWildlings · 17/02/2024 21:55

@mumsince2021 big but cautious congratulations! Everything crossed for you my lovely.

I'm still feeling so grumpy about AF this week! Another 4-dayer rather than my usual 5 days though. CD5 and I feel so bleugh. I felt slightly nauseous this morning and I feel pretty grim this evening- I will just assume it's the fish and chips
Take away probably sitting heavy on my stomach. And boobs feel tender and "heavy" this evening- I feel like more when I'm about to come on period, not when it's just finished!
Now torturing myself with stories of having a full period and going on to then test positive. I know this is so not the case for me but I can't seem to stop myself. I'm such a weirdo 🤣🤣🤣

Ncl31 · 18/02/2024 08:05

@RaisingCornishWildlings i done exactly the same this week reading stories of a positive test after a feel period.
my period was weird, 1 day of heavy then 2 days very light.
@mumsince2021 eeeek congratulations, I really hope everything goes well and this little bean is a sticky one

Blueskies4 · 18/02/2024 08:44

@Am2019 welcome to our group.. I’m sorry to hear of your loss and hoping you get a BFP soon.

@Cat2022 sorry I missed this one, congratulations and good luck for your scan 🤞🏻

@RaisingCornishWildlings I know exactly what you mean… a couple of my pregnancies I’ve thought I’ve come on my period and then turns out I was pregnant so I never rule it out 😩🤪

Panda101x · 18/02/2024 09:34

Hi. Each time I’ve charted similar to this I’ve had BFP. When I haven’t it’s been steady then a drop for period. But because two drops I’m confused not had. I know it’s only small drops not whole degrees but wondered what others thought

mumsince2021 · 18/02/2024 09:55

Thanks all for the congrats although I'm honestly trying not to get my hopes up!

@Panda101x here is my BBT chart from my pregnancy with my son back in 2021. You can see the temperatures do drop a bit in the days following ovulation. I do think it's impossible to get accurate temperatures so a lot of the time it may be down to that.
