@Bumblebee413 oh no I'm so sorry to read your update! I truly hope it's nothing 🤞🏻xx

RoseH36 · 22/01/2024 14:35

@Daniki thank you. Think I have a poas addiction now though 😂

Lalaland13 · 22/01/2024 15:30

I think you’re in good company @RoseH36 !

SnookyPook · 22/01/2024 15:41

@Bumblebee413 oh really hoping it's some implantation bleeding. I had intense cramps the first couple of days of my pregnancy which must have been implantation but were very convincing AF cramps. Everything crossed. However, love your approach and a Bailey's hot chocolate will definitely be in order if it is worst case scenario. 💕

Bumblebee413 · 22/01/2024 16:54

Thank you guys and thank you for everything over the past year and few days. It’s so lovely to be able to share all the ins and outs and tmi bits with a kind, lovely bunch of ladies x

I think my boobs are deflating and I’m fairly certain AF will start in force tomorrow. I will hold onto a little hope @SnookyPook because you never know. But I have just loved being ‘pregnant’ and super excited for a few days. So I’m grateful for that.

You should tell your dr and get it on your record
And ask them to check your thyroid and progesterone

Bumblebee413 · 22/01/2024 17:47

Thanks @worldwidetravel2017. I’m due blood tests on Monday and they include progesterone and thyroid etc.

Got it all crossed for you @Bumblebee413 xx

@Bumblebee413 sorry to hear this, what an amazing positive outlook, inspiring us all! Still holding out hope for you. In my first pregnancy I had really severe cramps I was convinced AF was coming but never did.
I couldn't hold on anymore ladies ..9dpo and did a test this eve, bfn!! It was a clearblue 6 day early test, and it says on it that it detects 76% of pregnancies at this stage (the day I'm on), so that's deflated me a bit. Will try again tomorrow.

@Bumblebee413 here's hoping AF doesn't show up, but if she does, I love your attitude, and I'm glad you were able to enjoy it, even if short lived.

Hannah156 · 23/01/2024 07:48

Girls, I just did another test with fmu and there's a vvvfl!! Hard to see in photo but it's definitely there 😭 can anyone else see it? Hope I'm not going mad.

Im so sorry to read your update @Bumblebee413! Keeping everything crossed for you it’s just implantation bleeding, and really glad you’re not feeling too down either way.

Congratulations @RoseH36!! And I think I can see that line @Hannah156! Keeping my fingers crossed for you both.

Thanks so much for thinking of me @Bumblebee413 , it meant a lot! Yesterday was pretty awful. They hadn’t booked me in properly so I wasnt on list and ended up being last in the line (and panicking for a while I’d have to come back another day). Waited from 12-4pm to go to through. I started crying when we were leaving the consultation room after speaking to surgeon, who was not very warm and friendly at all, and he said very dismissively “Oh it (meaning miscarriage) happens to everyone! It happened to my wife, it happens to everyone!” So that was hard. But it’s all done now. And the nurse who saw me after was lonely and gave me a memory box and a letter about the baby bereavement services there and a note for 2 weeks off work if I need it x

Bumblebee413 · 23/01/2024 08:50

@Mrsspoon3 I’m so sorry. How are you feeling today? I’m glad that the nurse looked after you the way you should have been cared for. The surgeon’s attitude was appalling. What an insensitive prick.

Hope that you’ve got a gentle day planned with your favourite things to eat xxx

Bumblebee413 · 23/01/2024 08:51

I see a line @Hannah156 ! Congratulations xxx

Lalaland13 · 23/01/2024 08:59

I think I can…: but faint! Prob clearer in real life! When I had my son I am sure I tested later in the day and got clearer… so maybe if you have a cheapie do it again later on!

Haha also tested this AM and stared at the stick for so long but pretty sure no line here! How many DPO?

Hannah156 · 23/01/2024 09:01

Thank you! We must all be experts at seeing almost invisible lines now. I'll test each day now and hope for the best. Hope you're ok @Bumblebee413, any sign of AF yet?

Hannah156 · 23/01/2024 09:02

@Lalaland13 Oh that's good to know. I think I'm 10dpo. Will buy some cheapies later. I know, I did the same, stared at it for so long 🤣

Hannah156 · 23/01/2024 09:03

@Mrsspoon3 what an awful thing for that doctor to say, no I sensitive given what his job is. I would be putting in a complaint! Lots of love to you xxx

Lalaland13 · 23/01/2024 09:11

Oh gosh @Mrsspoon3 that is terrible - I would have to put in a complaint. I find it hard to deal with men like that. They don’t seem to get it like we do.

Big hugs - stay strong and have some treats.

xx

RoseH36 · 23/01/2024 09:13

@Hannah156 there does appear to be something there, fingers crossed for you. Just like @Lalaland13 my lines have been darker in the evenings. I've resisted testing this morning so currently plan to only test this evening and do a first response at the same time (see how long this plan actually lasts lol).

@Mrsspoon3 I'm so sorry to hear the way the surgeon spoke to you, thats totally insensitive. I'm glad the nurse you saw after was more sympathetic. Lovely to hear you got a memory box too, I think all trusts should provide them.

Daniki · 23/01/2024 11:24

@Mrsspoon3 so sorry to read this,'makes me so angry! I had a similar experience with my first loss, didn't know what to do and went to a&e and sat there from 9am til 4pm bleeding on the chair. Very dismissive doctor aswell sent me home to come back in the next day to confirm with a scan.

Lalaland13 · 23/01/2024 18:43

Hope youre okay @Bumblebee413 xx

Bumblebee413 · 23/01/2024 19:40

I know it sounds ridiculous but I haven’t wanted to say anything in case it tempts fate. But I think everything is settling. My period hasn’t come and all I have now is a light, brownish loss. It was a bit stringy and clotty to begin with, which Dr Google says isn’t implantation bleeding. But I think it might be for me maybe? It was never fresh red- pinky at best.

Sorry if I came across at all dramatic yesterday, it’s just that I didn’t have any bleeding at all with my first pregnancy, so it just felt like it was going to build into something. I know every pregnancy is different, but this early on?? 😆

Have u talked to epuu / gynae about the discharge / bleed?

Bumblebee413 · 23/01/2024 20:22

No, I’m literally 4 weeks if that, so there’s nothing they could see or do. Just have to wait it out.
