Oh I am so sorry @Mrsspoon3 what horrid news. Sending so much love. Xx

Bumblebee413 · 16/01/2024 20:16

@Mrsspoon3 of course you are remembered. I’m so very sorry. Such devastating news after a reassuring first scan. Sending you so much love. Be as kind to yourself as you can be, this is such a lot to get your head around xxx

Fullofconfusion · 16/01/2024 20:44

@Mrsspoon3 sending love. How awful for you. Be kind to yourself

RoseH36 · 16/01/2024 21:57

@Mrsspoon3 yes I remember you. I'm so sorry you're going through this, it's exactly the same as what I went through this time last year, its the hardest thing to go through. Sending you so much love.

@worldwidetravel2017 quite possibly, I had lots of blood tests done several months ago by the recurrent miscarriage clinic which were all fine.

Mrsspoon3 · 17/01/2024 12:15

Thanks so much @worldwidetravel2017 @CatCaretaker @Lalaland13 @Bumblebee413 @Fullofconfusion @RoseH36

Really appreciate your lovely replies! Feeling completely broken today. So hard to put on a cheerful face and keep playing with an entertaining my almost 2 year old (although he’s also the only thing making me smile right now!) when I just want to cry.

I’m so sorry you went through this too @RoseH36, it’s incredibly hard. Can I ask if you don’t mind if you went for medical or surgical management? I feel completely lost and overwhelmed trying to decide what to do so would be helpful to hear other’s experiences, if you don’t mind sharing. Please don’t worry if you don’t want to share though!!

RoseH36 · 17/01/2024 13:23

@Mrsspoon3 it's so incredibly hard having to stay strong for your child, mine was with my parents when I'd gone for the scan and I asked them to have him longer as I couldn't face seeing him.

I've sent you a private message x

worldwidetravel2017 · 17/01/2024 13:46

Had the drs again today
They know we want to try again from march
Theyve done full blood count again, feretin , prolactin etc.
My resting heart is fast too

CatCaretaker · 17/01/2024 15:01

@worldwidetravel2017 here's hoping the hormone test results are good. How long will you need to wait?

worldwidetravel2017 · 17/01/2024 15:04

CatCaretaker · 17/01/2024 15:01

@worldwidetravel2017 here's hoping the hormone test results are good. How long will you need to wait?

Prolactin is the only ' hormoney ' type 1 they are doing

Thyroid etc was done in oct

And many last summer

Should have recent full blood count, ferritin and prolactin within next 48 hrs

worldwidetravel2017 · 17/01/2024 15:05

Excited to be trying again soon but nervous given early miscarriage history

Daniki · 17/01/2024 20:53

So heavy spotting today I'd say AF will be here tomorrow or Friday. 🫠 I'm not going to track next cycle, I'm off the letrozole now and hope for the best while we wait for our next referral 🥺
It's so disheartening

Bumblebee413 · 17/01/2024 21:04

I’m sorry @Daniki.

We’re on holiday at Center Parcs at the moment and I swear every fourth woman of childbearing age is pregnant. Just surrounded by so many bumps, newborns and young families in the pool. It’s got to me more than usual as I’m tired. But I feel like I’ve given up a little hope of it happening again. 🤷🏼‍♀️

JC084 · 18/01/2024 00:10

@Mrsspoon3 I am so sorry to read your news. Thinking of you

Fullofconfusion · 18/01/2024 00:58

According to my Flo app I’m about 7DPO so currently halfway through the 2 week wait. I did OPKs for the first time this cycle and had lines around the time that Flo estimates I ovulated but I didn’t get any really dark lines. Then again I was only testing once a day so I guess I could have missed it from other’s comments. If I’m not lucky this cycle then at least I know what I’m doing a bit more next cycle.

How is everyone doing with this horrible weather? It makes me want to book a holiday somewhere sunny asap!!

@Bumblebee413 that's how I feel aswell! My husband just can't understand how it happened so easily before with our son and our losses but nothing since. 🙈 I get ya everywhere I look someone is pregnant! 3 of my friends have had babies in the meantime and it's so hard! I try not to get too down about it but sometimes it's hard not too.
Hopefully this reiki next week will help 😂 I defo need to relax more!

jellyfish2210 · 18/01/2024 06:26

10 dpo and negative test this morning on clear blue early response. When I had DD I didn't get bfp until after AF was due so I'm not out yet but my goodness it's so hard not to see likes where there are none.

worldwidetravel2017 · 18/01/2024 07:08

After our early miscarriage last year - gynae advised me to relax / have a hol

SnookyPook · 18/01/2024 09:59

@Mrsspoon3 so very sorry to hear your news. A MMC is one of the cruellest things to go through. Sending a massive hug. Take the time you need to grieve 💕

EvelynKatie · 18/01/2024 13:12

Been to my GP today as it’s now been over 6 months. She was very nice but said although that’s the guidance, in my area they say 12 months before I can be referred. I really dislike the NHS postcode lottery, seems very unfair how you can be treated so differently just on where you live.

Anyway, she’s asked me to get bloods taken but only to check “vitamins and things” as she doesn’t seem concerned as my periods are very regular.

EvelynKatie · 18/01/2024 13:14

@jellyfish2210 I really dislike that part of the cycle when you’re staring at white tests willing yourself to see a line. Like you say, never out until AF shows. I think this cycle I’m going to try really hard to not test until AF due date!

CatCaretaker · 18/01/2024 14:51

@EvelynKatie that's very frustrating, does age come into it? HSE guidance here in the ROI is to talk to your doctor if you've been trying 6 months and are over 35, but any test we have / don't have are elective. I went privately and luckily health insurance covered half. Is that an option in the UK, to go privately and pay (I don't even know if that's a thing over there, sorry!)?

@jellyfish2210 wow, no BFP until after AF, I think that's the first I've heard of that happening (not that I know much). Tested yesterday, 7DPO, BFN, so I assumed that was me out. I still think it is me out, but interesting that there could still be a BFP at that stage. Hope for us all 🙂.

@worldwidetravel2017 I hope the holiday does the trick, and you get a BFP soon!

Make sure u ask them to do prolactin , vit d and feretin - if they dont offer them automatically..
