I do hope so! 🤞🏻🌈💕

Oh @SnookyPook! What a lovely cheeky baby! They were pretty keen to be here 😂 Big congratulations x

@worldwidetravel2017 I’m sorry- it must be really hard still having a mystery at this point when you were hoping things would be more definite by this point. Good that it doesn’t look to be cancer but so hard to still be waiting for answers after such a tough week. I do love that you recognise what a happy place the beach is for you and that you are making space to appreciate the positives in your life when you’re able. Strong lady xxx

RoseH36 · 30/11/2023 21:09

@SnookyPook that's a lovely dark line. After the few months you've had I really hope this is the one for you 🌈

Khanga27 · 01/12/2023 10:45

Congrats @SnookyPook , keeping everything crossed that this is your sticky bean.

Thanks all for advice on cycle. Think hormones are stil settling a little from things even though it’s been nearly 3 months now.

I’m on day 5 of cycle and my cycles are 24-25 days so safest for me to start testing no later than day 6 for ovulation… but I’m tempted to actually start today just in case there is any slight irregularity. I’ve also stocked up on fruit and veg as I wasn’t the best with that last month.

Best of luck to anyone else on a new cycle.

Bumblebee413 · 01/12/2023 17:46

I don’t blame you @Khanga27, it won’t hurt. My mind is blown over a 24-25 day cycle. It’s incredible how much our bodies vary. Mine is anything from 31-44 sometimes. I think any other time that would be a blessing (so most of life really) but TTC it really does take a while! I’m glad everything is settling down for you x

FigandHoney · 01/12/2023 19:45

Just popping in yo sat congratulations @SnookyPook . Really hope this is your sticky bean. Certainly seems determined to be here.

Sorry @worldwidetravel2017 that you still have no answers. Is fatty liver reversible? Sounding hopeful it isn't cancer though? Although I know you are now worried about breast cancer. Continuing to think of you

How are you doing @Cressie2 ? I am not sure if I ever did say congratulations!!

Yes - apparently fatty liver is reversible

Ive ordered an exercise bike for inside

Ive bought lots of low fat products today

Today for lunch i had cod - cooked in the oven with no bread crumbs / no batter ( b12 ) , boiled baby potatoes and peas :)

Bfast was saltana bran with blueberries
( saltana bran = high in iron ,
Blue berries = super food )

Dinner was egg with bread but for a number of reasons i think i might have an egg allergy
Drs are guna do a RAST test

Snacked on a few strawberries, raspberries and some raw carrot this eve - all 3 good 4 liver... // fatty liver

Bought baked not fried crisps & reducing crisps & choc over all

Im a very goal orientated person.
.
Having tests for chlorestrol & diabetes, & liver stuff next week.
NHS liver mri next week - 2nd opinion

Its a bit odd as some of my medical paper work says fatty liver isnt normally in the location of mine etc

Hence one of reasons 4 second opinion

Wishing you a lovely weekend :)

Thats a good cycle length

You are doing great @worldwidetravel2017. I guess the only thing you can do is keep focusing on the things you can do to control the situation as much as you can. Pursuing those appointments to get and answer and nourishing your body. I am glad fatty liver is reversible. And I hope you get some answers about that and everything else soon

Bumblebee413 · 02/12/2023 06:59

How are you doing @FigandHoney? X

SnookyPook · 02/12/2023 10:20

Morning all... After CP in Sept and low/erratic HCG last time, I was curious to do another test 48hrs later... And I think this time it's looking more hopeful 🙏🏼🌈 Still a long way off feeling confident, but right now, in this moment, it's looking ok.... Taking that as a win! Now going to try and stop obsessing - the wheels are already in motion aren't they so what will be, will be. Pic of test this morning, and one with Thursday's test above it.

@worldwidetravel2017 so glad you are starting to get some answers and a bit of clarity on what might be going on. I know it's still a bit up in the air but hopefully all will be ok and you'll be able to start the new year fresh and hopeful 🤞🏻

Hope everyone else is doing ok. X

Wanted to share to give some hope to the rest of you, got a positive test this morning after 5 cycles of trying so counting my blessings and feeling hopeful for 2024!
Congratulations @SnookyPook , wishing you all the best with your journey.
I'm gonna wait a few days before I register with the local midwifery service

SnookyPook · 02/12/2023 11:23

Ah congratulations @SouthwestSis - lovely news 🥰 Yes I've not registered yet either. Might wait a few more days and then go for it 😬🙏🏼🌈

Bumblebee413 · 02/12/2023 14:53

Congratulations @SouthwestSis!

How did you tell your DP @SnookyPook? What did he say?

Khanga27 · 02/12/2023 15:53

Hey all, has anyone used pre seed fertility lubricant?

RoseH36 · 02/12/2023 18:13

@SnookyPook it's getting darker, fingers crossed for you. Which tests do you use? I need to invest in some cheaper ones than the First Response for future.

@SouthwestSis congratulations. Fingers crossed for you too 😊

Khanga27 · 02/12/2023 18:42

@SouthwestSis congratulations

SnookyPook · 02/12/2023 18:48

@RoseH36 thank you! They're OneStep ones - super cheap and not the best quality but they've always worked for me. I was hoping they weren't working when it was my CP but unfortunately they were quite accurate! If you just want an initial 'check and see' kind of test they're probs a good cheap choice!

@Bumblebee413 he overheard the end of my phone call to the hospital (!!) and was like "erm... What was that about...?!" So I just flashed the test and was like "well... It's happened again" 🤦🏼‍♀️ haha it was the worst possible reveal but given how it's not exactly 'exciting' for us now it didn't matter. He was just like "oh great but let's not get too excited"... 😌

Bumblebee413 · 02/12/2023 18:53

Aw! I think it’s all exciting though. Beautiful line progression too! X

SnookyPook · 02/12/2023 19:07

Aw thank you. It is exciting but I just barely dare to hope.. 🙏🏼

RoseH36 · 02/12/2023 20:25

@SnookyPook thank you, will get some of those. Since First Response stopped their early ones there doesn't seem to be a decent replacement anywhere. I've been getting the First Response that come in a pack of 3 but they are quite pricey.

Isn't it awful feeling like you're robbed of any excitement? I've felt like that every time too, it's a bit like "here we go again" amd keeping your fingers crossed.
