Welcome to the newbies. @Sunny192 so sorry to hear of your loss. I had a MMC in April, a CP in Sept and then l miraculously got pregnant again straight away but unfortunately looking like another loss is imminent. Got a 6 week scan this aft but my HCG is extremely low 😔 Hopefully good things lie ahead though. Felt completely despairing yesterday but a bit more philosophical today.

Welcome @Gingerblueeyes I wish you well on your journey. How long have you been trying for? I recommend reading "The Impatient Woman's Guide to getting pregnant" by Jean M Twenge if you haven't read it already.

Well, i had saline scan which showed minor 'growths' which she thinks could be polyps, right where implantation happens. Yay. Swear the d&c just messed me up. So another battle with the drs. Plus crap bloods on shbg or summat. Ever feel like you just cant be arsed anymore lol

haha so I'm not the only old lady here!! I'm not sure if I've left everything too late, only 3 months into TTCing so I'll see what happens!

I got to see my little bean today and even though they didn't put the sound on, we saw the little flutter of the heart. I'm waiting for a call from my fertility doctor to go over the results and I'm crossing my fingers all looked well on that ultrasound.

@H0pefull @CurlyWurly1991 I feel better. Like ok, phew, heartbeat is a good sign, right? I'm thinking this lessens chances of miscarriage hopefully? I'm still waiting on the doctor to confirm all looked well but I went in just praying there is a heartbeat. My son and my husband came too. If it was bad news, I would have needed him the most, so it was nice to have him and it's the first time he saw a heartbeat on screen. With our son it was covid so he wasn't allowed to come. You know, I'm still cautious, right? How can we not be... But yeah... Little bit of positivity. We all need that sometimes

@VixFromThe6ix absolutely understand still being anxious, and that’s totally valid. I think all we can do is take small wins along the way to hopefully lessen the anxiety each time. Today was a small win (huge actually) for you and that’s amazing, such a good step in the right direction. Fingers crossed for good news from your doctor too x

Couldn’t hold off from doing another test this evening, I feel like there is colour to the second line but still very cautious. Banning myself from testing now until AF (hopefully) doesn’t arrive on Thursday x

I can definitely see a shadow there @H0pefull but remember hcg doubles over 48-72 hours so if you hold off until Thursday you should see good line progression

@VixFromThe6ix oh how wonderful - definitely take that win for now. Although absolutely get you feeling nervous still. But it's a great hurdle to pass, and as you say, seeing a heartbeat is definitely a great sign.

In contrast... I've not had the scan today. They said the levels of HCG weren't high enough that they would be able to see anything meaningful. They were very lovely and made sure I was happy with what they meant etc and it does make sense. However, they did me a blood test and booked me in for a repeat on Thursday. The nurse I saw was really lovely and said in all likelihood it's not looking very hopeful, however there's an outside chance it stalled for some reason. We should have a clearer idea from the bloods today which she will do her best to get back to me with before her shift ends at 10pm.

The best news really is that, if it is indeed heading to be another loss, she can refer me directly to the fertility clinic here - she mentioned a consultant who I have heard good things about... So, hopefully the ball could get rolling quite quickly on that and I can at least also bypass my GP who I've not been very impressed with.

So, just waiting to see what today's bloods look like. Really can't imagine a positive outcome for this and a bit worried that a rise could indicate ectopic so hoping really for a clear drop today that will take any ambiguity away. Funny the things we start hoping when a loss looks likely. Just don't want it to drag on too long.

@SnookyPook I really hope you’re ok tonight? The nurse sounded so lovely and supportive and I’m glad you’re going to be under consultant led care soon if it isn’t good news. I’m so sorry that they couldn’t scan you today after all your waiting. I hope you get your blood results soon tonight ❤️

@SnookyPook I’m sorry your news wasn’t better. You seem very at peace with whichever way it goes. I hope it is good news and if not I hope that you can get the help you need quickly

Another couple of hopeful positives too! I have everything crossed for you ladies.

I’m CD33. No more sore boobs, no more cramps as if AF may start but I’m so hungry and incredibly irritable so I expect my body is preparing for it. It’s really frustrating being in the limbo of waiting for AF after stopping contraception. I just want it over with so I know everything is getting back on track. We actually DTD plenty this month due to being on holiday but I don’t think I have much chance of falling pregnant that quickly

@SnookyPook I am sorry you didn't get a scan and so far clear answer. I hope that whatever the result is, gives you peace. And that is good that she has connections and you can potentially if needed at least jump the hurdle of referral.

@VixFromThe6ix Congratulations on seeing the heartbeat! I do believe that is indeed a big step in reducing tge risk. Hoping it continues to progress nicely.

@H0pefull That line definitely looks more pink. I completely get the urge to test especially once you got a potential BFP. Don't feel bad if you end up testing again. But you should definitely get a stronger line in 48h.

This is such a supportive thread. At the same time I keep wondering if I should try to keep myself of tge Internet. And if I am obsessing too much and it might prevent me from conceiving.

Had some EWCM today. I think. We BDed yesterday. And I always struggle to discern between leftovers and fertile CM.
But I think we are approaching ovulation. Although my ppks are still light. Only CD8 and normally ovulate around CD13. So still 4 days to go. Is this early to have EWCM? Could I potentially ovulate earlier than usual?

So sorry @SnookyPook 🤍 however I’m glad the nurse you spoke to was so nice, it sounds like she was very understanding which is exactly what you need in this situation, it makes such a difference doesnt it. Still hopeful for some good news from your bloods, but it’s good to know that you have a plan in place if it doesn’t go how you were hoping.
