Hi hope you don't mind me joining. I'm 35 TTC, and found out end of July I had a MMC at what I thought was 8 weeks. After medical management August didn't fully work I had more in September and then surgical management. Was first pregnancy so have spent last few months trying to manage my anxiety for TTC again.

After waiting for a period, this is the first month since that happened TTC and we are in the 2 week wait now. We fell pregnant last time on our first month trying but I'm not at all expecting to have the same happen this time around. I'm trying hard to manage expectations on that front so I'm not too disappointed when AF comes...

Welcome @Khanga27 !! Sorry about your MC. Glad to see you're trying again. Keep positive but realistic. In that if it doesn't happen right away, don't get discouraged. That said, I'm hoping for a BFP for you this cycle!!

@SnookyPook I am so sorry to read your message on the previous thread, I wish there was something I could say to make you feel better but I know that there isn’t. Everything crossed for some good news at your scan today 🤞🏻🤍

@Cressie2 not like acne really - sometimes I wish it was! It's recurring cysts. It's horrible to be honest and has taken a real toll on my confidence (not that I had much before).

I can't tag as she's not in the thread yet but it was asked about weight. Yep I'm trying to lose weight, to qualify for IVF I have no choice. I'm not following a diet or anything I'm just trying to change my mentality overall - mainly because when I've tried diets, calorie counting etc. In the past, it works in the short term but then I lose momentum. One of my biggest impacts is my lifestyle though not necessarily my eating habits. I work from home (since COVID hit) and can sometimes work long hours, I study outside of work and I used to game a lot for a hobby so a good chunk of my life is sedentary - more so after COVID. So my main 'objective' is to move more while eating healthy. I did one of the EmKfit videos from YouTube yesterday (mentioned it on the other thread) - I love her videos because it's dancey and fun. Today I'm going to do some low impact weights after work and alternate weights / EmKfit through the week.

That all being said, when I was TTC with my ex about 9 years ago I was a lot healthier and we still ended up going through to fertility testing - so if anything the years of not planning/wanting children have put me in a much worse position than I was - kinda need to remind myself of that every time I'm in the TWW / AF arrives!

a VERY tentative post from me this morning..there is colour to this line but it’s my first time using Wondfo strips so I have no experience with them regarding indent lines etc..
AF due in 2 days so I won’t re test now until then, we will see x

@H0pefull fingers crossed for you. I tested on Saturday (2 days early) and got a negative result. AF didn't turn up yesterday or this morning, tested again and it's a BFP. I can't believe it. Hoping for the same for you xx

It's our fourth pregnancy (we've had three consecutive losses) so I know I'm always going to be anxious and I won't believe it's really happening until I get to take my baby home, but I do feel excited and hopeful today. Crossing fingers for lots of good news for everyone here too

@VJFord Congratulations!! Hope this is your sticky bean and that your pregnancy will be smooth sailing

@H0pefull I can definitely see a line on that test. Although on my phone it looks a bit grey. But pictures never seem to capture these faint lines very accurately. I would definitely give it two days and then retest. Should be darker by then. Hope this is your BFP!

Hello I would like to join you all 😊 I'm 35 (about to turn 36 early next year) I've just suffered with a MMC in September and still waiting for my first AF to arrive so I can start my new cycle and TTC again.

I'm having some testing done on my bloods in my next cycle as this was my 2nd MC, I'm keeping everything crossed for us all 🤞🏻💫

I'm 41 and trying for our first (OH 44)
I'm 10 DPO and BFN yesterday, I'm not losing hope until Saturday....

Thanks @FigandHoney @Angelsrose @CurlyWurly1991 🤍 as I say I’ve never used these tests before so unsure how they are for indents etc. so trying my best to not get too excited yet but fingers crossed 🤞🏻 have some FRER on order that should arrive by the time AF is due x
