I'm 11 dpo today @Sez281 I had to check an app for that so I'm happy that I'm actually not that focused on it atm like @Jadeypie I don't think this is the month tbh but I'm okay about it. This would've been by my month, I remember working out I was due just after boxing day, in a way I'm glad work is crazy and totally distracting me although I keep reminding myself I would've finished for maternity leave now 😑🤣 I work in retail so felt like I'd hit the jackpot timing it so well. I'm making it my mission that I'm off next Christmas lol xx

@Sez281 I'm doing well thank you! I'm 28 weeks now, so into the third trimester. We had a growth scan on Friday as I've got low papp-a, I'd been a bit nervous but so far the baby (a boy) is doing well and measuring ok.
Sorry you've had pain again, hope it eases up. You're doing brilliantly navigating your procedure as well as all the ttc stuff.

I haven't been on mn as much but I do always check in with this thread, always hoping for positive updates. It's great to see everyone still supporting each other and chatting so much, this thread was huge help to me after my loss and at the start of this pregnancy x

I'd say it's a good sign too that you forgot the cb test, you're obviously not obsessing. I take it you've told dh now?! Did you get a date for your scan?

@Hankthehonk wowee I can't believe you're into the third trimester! Amazing and brings hope for all of us that it is definitely possible after loss! Glad all is looking ok! 💕

DH actually heard the tail end of me ringing the hospital and was like "ermmm... What was that about?!" So I just flashed the test at him and was like, "we-ell its happened again" haha not the best reveal 🤦🏼‍♀️

Scan is booked for 21st Dec when I should be just over 7wks... It's going to be extremely nerve-wracking and I'm a bit scared of how close to Christmas it is but I guess the distractions etc will be a good distraction whatever the outcome. I'm trying ever so hard to be as zen as possible. Mad as it seems at times I'm forgetting I'm pregnant. It's all very surreal.

Just realised this eve that im CD29 which means my cycle is longer this month again, really hope its settling into a new routine and not going haywire as GP didn't seem to like the idea that it is changing a bit more recently from 27 to 31. Hope your all okay, I'm just over here trying to retain the "do not focus on cycle" attitude...which was going well till I realised I'm cd30 tomorrow lol my skin has gone shit and I have the biggest spot on the side of my neck 😑 joys.

I can imagine it's going to be scary @SnookyPook keep thinking positive (or forgetting lol) and fingers crossed all will be good.

@SnookyPook Those tests show lovely progression👌. Also love how your attitude was at the till. If you don't find yourself thinking about it every minute it might hopefully make time go by a bit faster 🙏

@Supertrooper101 hope you've finally had a static smiley at this stage? 🙈 in October it was me that had a scan showing a big follicle on cd6 (19mm) but I never got peak and AF arrived on CD 17 😕 I think @Jadeypie had one too recently

@Westy22 id imagine working in retail at this time of year is literally the ultimate distraction!

I'm either 3 or 4 dpo at the moment depending on whether I go by opks or bbt but either way it's no man's land so just keeping busy!

@Westy22 sorry I meant to ask, had your luteal phase extended too or just your cycle? Are you planning on testing or just waiting to see if it goes to 31 days again? Fingers crossed for you if you are going to 🤞 xx

@Sez281 the cb's can kiss my ass 🤣 ... must have missed it.. one day i forgot to do it in the morning and thats the only time that works for me so was probably then. Ive had the bbt dip and increase though so think it was cd18 again. Must have been vitex that kept my ovulation at a steady cd 13-15 cos now its cd18 last 3 cycles. Jeez, its been 8mths now since the mmc 🤬. Got my fertility app tomorrow, am hoping they see by my notes how persistant i am and just give me what i want. Dont even know what i want anymore actually haha bloods i think 🤔 and to hand the oh spunky d dunk results over. Did your fella get his results back?

@Sez281 no peak from me ever yet haha I'm on cd 15 I actually had to look like @Westy22 haha. I'm planning on not looking again either. I just feel like there's no point with the way my hormones and af have been so am just enjoying dtd whenever and no pressure which is refreshing xx

Thanks for checking in @Jadeypie all ok here. I got a letter on Friday which was a summary of the discussion I’d had with the consultant earlier in the week. She has suggested a progesterone gel I’ve to take from ovulation and to get in touch with my gp to have it prescribed. Call the gp today and they said they received a copy of the letter and if there was any action from it they would be in touch within the week. Going by the last few months I’ve ovulated cd16-18 so might be ok but I think I’ll call back in a few days just to remind them. I had someone at the door so had to kind of rush the call but I should have been like eh yes the action is to get me the gel 😂
Your less pressure approach sounds like it’s working, so nice to not be consumed by what cd you are on and actually just go about your business!

Ah @Westy22 sorry to see it’s your due date approaching, it’s a tough time. I can imagine how busy you must be at work just now and as you say, I’m sure a good distraction.

Back to the tww @Sez281 , perfect plan to keep busy. Have you felt any differently this month following your procedures a few weeks ago?

I've not tracked properly the last two cycles so I don't know when I ovulated, am I being dumb of is that the only way I'd know if my luteal phase has changed? @Sez281 Lol my AF is the same length. I'm wondering whether the coq10 or omega 3 has done something but I've not taken it religiously. I'm just waiting atm, getting a few aches this eve so thinking potentially ill come on tomorrow.

I've felt so much calmer not tracking as much like @Jadeypie but I suppose if I'm going to push my GP a little bit I guess I need to get back into it... judging by this cycle I can't do day 21 bloods till mid Jan as its going to fall on boxing day this cycle 🙈 starting to think my hormones are a bit off....I've had night sweats the last two nights, I mean I like to sleep with my dressing gown on as im naturally quite cold lol so that maybe doesn't help but these were intense 😫

@Supertrooper101 good luck with the appointment today, dying to hear hope it goes! X 🤞 My OH won't get his results till we meet consultant in early Jan. he wants me to ring and ask but I don't want to be annoying them so we'll wait.

@Jadeypie that does sound so refreshing! The mental break from it all if nothing else. Whatever happens for me next week whether it's BFP of AF I'm going to just enjoy Christmas and try forget about it. Hope you're finished jury duty snd vsn enjoy the build up now x

@xxcxdonxx Oh that would be great to get the gel for 3DPO, otherwise would definitely give a potential bean more chance of sticking 🙏 I'm getting my day 21 bloods on Thursday, if the progesterone comes back low I'm going to start my pessaries from ovulation from now on too xx

@Westy22 so the only way to know if your luteal phase has changed is to know what day you've ovulated. Like the "perfect" cycle is ovulate day 14 with 14 day luteal phase and AF on day 28, but of course most people don't have that, It doesn't really matter how long your cycle is but the ideal luteal phase is over 10 days, mine is only around 9/10 so not ideal but it can happen 🤷‍♀️🙏 I love that you feel so much calmer just like @Jadeypie I really need to take a leaf out of you ladies book xx

@Jadeypie sorry yours was a negative. The weight loss is incredible though and will definitely be helping your chances. Hopefully the EWCM is a good sign that things are shifting up a gear!

@xxcxdonxx I'd start the CoQ10 straight away. It can take up to 3 months to improve egg quality (ripening time of new eggs). Not sure if it's a coincidence but I started taking mine in Sept after my CP and now got this more hopeful looking bfp...

On that note. Pics of this morning's test at 5+1 and compared to Thurs and Sat (excuse the annotation haha)... They are far more hopeful than my last two pregnancies have looked at this stage so I'm hoping I've avoided CP/dodgy HCG this time round. It feels like one hurdle crossed. Still a long way to go but feeling tentatively hopeful as much as I can 🙏🏼🌈

@SnookyPook I'm so excited to see your test progression, this is looking good!! Couldn't be better at this stage, so as you say that's the first hurdle behind you. Please keep sharing updates, we're all rooting for you so much. How are you feeling in terms of symptoms?

Thanks to everybody for your lovely messages after I posted a few days ago, I am really conscious it might not be easy hearing from those of us who have gone on to get pregnant with our rainbow babies hence the TW on my post. Your good wishes mean a lot x

@Sez281 well i went in to my appointment, head full of ideas. I like it when its a different person who i see, then i can blag and say..well so and so told me i can do and have this 🤣. Such a child but needs must ... i got nothing i asked for 🤣🤣...amh blood..no because its not reliable. Day 21 is. Day 2 bloods..no, because its not needed, day 21 is.... progesterone for after ovulation.... no because your ovulating and it can have a negative effect if used outside ivf 🤔...... @xxcxdonxx remind me why you were prescribed it lol ... to me it seems the nhs works very different depending where your based. Absolute mind fk lol @Sez281 now if i were paying half private,i would have had those sperm tests back waaayyyy before now. Get them called and you can give your partner them for a christmas present lol....@Westy22 have you had your fsh bloods done recently? That would let you know if it is peri or not. @SnookyPook that line looks great xxx...
So the appointment ended with me getting a blood form for more day 21 🤦‍♀️ and also a HSG to be done. The camera scan lady said my tubes were clossed but expected that at that stage of the cycle ...again.....🤔 me thinks maybe they shudnt be hense the HSG. His also booked us in for 3mths time to discuss ivf and says we qualify ...now, am pretty sure with my age, 41, and 3 kids between us from previous relationships ( 9,10 &15 yr olds.) Am quite sure we dont qualify.....so....am now going to chase this hsg lol and then book the bloody bloods i want via hertility and do them on bloody day 2 like i want !!! Lol ...oooo what a day lol

@Hankthehonk thank you! Nothing major yet symptom-wise. A bit tired and very occasionally bit nauseous/gassy... Also had a touch of insomnia which is very unlike me. Boobs a bit delicate. But really nothing to write home about. I was quite anxious this morning thinking the test would have faded. So... Just have to see!

@Supertrooper101 blimey that all sounds quite frustrating tbh! Are you ok?! I'm getting the impression you don't fully trust them either which doesn't help does it.

So AF has arrived this afternoon 💤 felt a bit off this morning so had a feeling it was coming...so this month was a 30 day cycle which isn't too bad. Telling my partner this eve that we ARE conceiving in this next cycle so he better be prepared 🤣🤣 CD 1 of Christmas conceiving starts now.

I had my fsh tested back in September on day 4 with my old gp (she didn't give a sh!t and didn't even know where I was in my cycle) it came out at 4.9 which I think is within normal range isnt it? @Supertrooper101 I wish I could take you with me for appointments 🤣 you know what to ask for! So I have a work colleague going through IVF but they didn't qualify for it on NHS because he has a child with a previous partner so they've had to pay 💤

@Supertrooper101 mine was prescribed following an appointment with the consultant from recurrent miscarriage. She was just going to prescribe it for me to take following confirming a pregnancy was in the right place but i explained I start spotting 5-7 days after ovulation until my period and in early pregnancy so prescribed I take it following ovulation. I just need to get my hands on it now!
I think it does change where you are (I’m Glasgow) or who you even speak to. Sorry it’s not went as planned today, I’ve heard good things about hertility though so I’m sure you will get what you need there.

@Supertrooper101 Oh that's a major head f**k I don't blame you for felony frazzled after it 🤨 So what is a HSG then? I know what a HyCosy & Hysterocopy are but never heard of that one. It sounds like it does matter what time of cycle we get stuff done too, if they're saying you were closed and that was normal. Make sure they book you in for the "right day" whatever that is 🤷‍♀️😕 How do you feel about the IVF route? I'm staring down the barrel of it too and really don't want to 🙈 I've just emailed my consultant for my OHs results, you're right we're paying for it so I need to stop being afraid of her! 😂 I've told them to email him directly and let him read them first. (He'll end up asking me to explain anyway lol) I hope you're chilling tonight now after today, it's a lot to take in xx

I've had a major temp dip today at 5dpo, it's my first month temping but apparently that's normal for hormone fluctuations. I've also got really bad cramps but there's nothing new there. Hoping the next few days go quickly and I can avoid symptom spotting (she says as comparing temp graphs online) 🫠😂

@SnookyPook lol yeah am fine. I think there all full of shit and just there to be paid lol hense why i TRY and get what i want 🤷‍♀️ be nice if they all just stuck to the same stupid script. @Supertrooper101 Yeah I believe the IVF criteria in the UK is really tough too 😕 But you've got pregnant naturally this year so you never know it may happen again! Maybe this the HSG or whatever it is will spruce up your bits too 🙏😂 My OH told me to get the consultant to email me directly but I said no, they're his tests I'd prefer him to open them first. I've got my day 21 bloods (again 🙄) tomorrow, dying to hear what my progesterone levels are. I probably won't get results till after weekend and AF will be here by then 🤷‍♀️😂

@Sez281 I’m only cd12 and normally ovulate cd16-18 but would be just my luck for it to be early this month. I don’t know if im worried and imagining it but feeling a bit crampy too so just called the gp back in panic to ask for it again. Should hopefully have it by the end of the week 👍🏼
